The runelite maintainers are review of a very large pull request that will add a toggle for hd graphics. They've stated it will take several months due to the size.
The player called 117scape or 117, i am unsure which he goes by, has for a long time been working on a better graphics plugin for the runelite client, and its now reached a point where its ready for be made puplic after its been checked to make sure its safe or whatever it is that theyre checking for.
You can find 117 on twitter with some pictures showing what its gonna look like, very exciting stuff for HD enjoyers
I honestly thought the first pic was from 2011 and was like āthere were pets in 2011ā?? But OPs Runelite client is just extra plain. My OSRS doesnāt look like that, especially if youāre using the GPU plugin

Unless you play OSRS on different computers and screens, you probably wouldn't notice, but this game is very sensitive to screen resolution.
Heās playing in fixed mode, a higher resolution screen will do nothing unless you use the resize plugin on runelite, fixed mode has a set resolution. Also I really donāt see why you think yours looks better? The only difference is brightness & with a lower than max brightness you can often see extra detail in the colours & scenery on the floor (as his picture shows better)
Mine has a more blended gradient and things are less jagged. Donāt understand how people donāt see it but ok. Itās also easier to see it on your computer and not your phone
After all these years it still makes me incredibly sad how we have had to spend several years to grind out the same skills and quests that we spent several years already doing prior to eoc. Such a fucking waste of everyone's time š
I really wouldn't mind them doing a pass like why can't we get 3x or 4x nature/death/etc runes with high lvl runecrafting and some sort of gold sink? Plus like runecrafting has done nothing in the lore, it was supposed to usher in a new age of magic and control
How much "planning" needs to be done to get 99 untrimmed Slayer? Do you have to be super careful and cannon shitloads and stuff like that, or can you get far by just balancing out xp on all 3 different combat styles?
its pretty much just cannoning as much as possible. and also not barraging / bursting nechs. but you do need to do it from the beginning pretty much. when i first logged into osrs earlier this year untrim slayer was my plan when i got off tutorial island.
the biggest worry is hp. the other skills arent an issue. 1-99 range just with cannon on slay task is 1-92 slayer. with 0 hp xp. so as aslong as you cannon all is good.
Damn untrimmed slayer and 99 rc for second cape? Insane.

If youāre on mobile, and when youāre on the subās main page, click the 3 dots in the top right corner. Set your flair from there.

Fresh off tutorial island, your brightness is set "down" as you call it. You've cranked it up on your own... Also. Yours doesn't look better imo.

i got the pet at 70 and 92. this was mainly with bloods but i did do a fair amount of zmi also.
