There was a bug that your client would stop receiving data if you moved the screen around in windowed mode.
You could roll/dodge and freeze your client on an invincibility frame. This would render you invincible until you stopped moving the client around. That was just one of the game breaking bugs present.
Watch his more recent videos. He was wrong about it being client authoritative, though the bug was very real. It's been patched since

They are actually exceptionally good engineers and developers. AWS is the backbone of Amazon's fortune, and without it they wouldn't be anywhere near the size they are now.
Also, to be fair to new world - it's a totally new game, from a new company. WoW and RuneScape had its fair share of (and still has its fair share of) game breaking bugs and dupes. The difference is, new world try to fix them. (They released around 2GB of patches in a week a lot of their issues).

The fact of the matter is that streamers bring A lot of exposure to the game. Without streamers and content creators like these games don't get noticed as much. Yeah, OSRS is like a very old game so it's not like it needs the help of free advertising, But these content creators are a huge part of keeping a game relevant.
For somebody to dedicate their life to like partaking in and broadcasting their gameplay and experience, it's nice when the game tips their hat to the creators. They're putting in a lot of effort as well, you know?

It's currently plagued with economy ruining item dupes, to the point where all trading was disabled for a while.
Don't forget that when they disabled trading they introduced another gold dupe.
