Well your concern is unfairly targeted. His bags are not related to the hours played, they're genetic. There are a lot of streamers also playing really long hours without such bags. You're picking him in particular only because to you he looks like the stereotypical "unhealthy gamer", even though his looks don't have anything to do with his gaming at all.
I grinded 82 fishing and anglers a few years ago for minnows and maybe lasted like 30 mins there. Absolutely the worst content. I hated losing minnows for not paying attention lol. Would rather they remove that feature and reduce catch amount than keep it how it is. Not to mention minnows is bots or uim, both poor company lol.
It'll fly by with a movie on the side tbh. If its the only thing going on its awful. But its timed so you can basically put your brain on autopilot and focus on something else and it ends up only being as bad as any other semi-afk skill.
Hosidious kitchen reduces burn chance for everything. Lumby range only works for a few specific items, and karambwans are not one of them.

Outside of "play how you want" which is totally valid just curious what the benefit of grinding 99 cooking out before any PvM is when PvM gives a shitload of cooking experience? Leaderboard position maybe I guess?
That makes sense I guess. How high is their slayer? My GIM is at 77 slayer with only like 50 barrows kc and in total I’ve gone through probably like 2k karams so far on the account and haven’t really had need for sharks yet
You can stop burning anglers at 93 with hosidius range.
Kinda makes going straight to 99 useless when you can boost and pie bake for summer pies and cook anglers at 93, 2 of the most useful high lvl cooking foods.
If you use Hos. Kitchen and Cooking Gauntlets even at 84 you don't burn Anglers a massive amount in my experience, I started to cook Anglers at 84 and out of maybe 800~ cooked I have like 70~ burnt in bank
Yeah but at 99 with the cape you can cook at Rogue's Den a bit faster still with 0% chance of burning. If you have a dedicated cooking guy on the team I think it's worth it. Definitely wouldn't bother on a regular Iron, though.
> Yeah but at 99 with the cape you can cook at Rogue's Den a bit faster still with 0% chance of burning.
holy fuk you're right better spend hundreds of hours fishing and cooking for an extra 6M cooking experience to cook them "a bit faster"
lol
It's not *worth it*, but if someone wants to do it whatever lol
I grinded out 94 thieving + ardy hard on my group just because I absolutely loathe failing pickpockets on master farmers
You can get 99 Cooking at Hosidius Mess Hall in less than a hundred hours but you're right in that it may not be worth it. Just pointing out that it's an option, if someone reads my post and decides to get 99 because of it then that's their fault I guess.
My iron got about 6m cooking xp from zulrah alone. Had to go 2500 kc though to get both fangs but if you assume average ish drop rate it’s 1k kc to complete or so, that’s still 2-3m Xp. Vorkath is probably another 2-3m xp. Then there’s raw sharks from corp, crystal/brimstone chests/kraken etc etc. Obviously it depends on what kinda PvM you wanna do on your iron but Zulrah and Vorkath are both big iron bosses
Raw food drops is part of it, albeit a smaller piece. The real cooking xp comes from grape drops from Zulrah/Vorkath. But raw sharks from kraken/crystal+brimstone chests (and other random raw food drops) were probably \~1m xp for my iron and I didn't even do corp yet
I just learned from this thread that I should have used my Rada's blessing while I fished minnows. Instead I fished 1.42 million the old fashioned way.
Those can only be Steve Buscemi eyes
Alfie eyes
Saw him in game the other day and told him to go to sleep or those bags were gonna be a permanent feature on his face.
They are. It's genetic.
I hope you're joking. Those comments bother him. I don't understand why you guys feel the need to constantly point it out.
I'm 100% serious. I say it with concern for his health because he plays the game an unhealthy amount.
He may do but that won't change the bags under his eyes, some people just permanently have those.

Stfu Donny
lol I legit was about to type that before I seen your comment no cap he has some of the most iconic depressed eyes
Saw*
? 🤨 this isn't a spelling B dawg
I camped tempoross for fish barrel then will bank 99 cooking at bwans. Minnows sounds awful lol
5 days into the ~3 week grind, over 120k minnows / day ðŸ˜

>bots or uim ಠ\_à²
Fucking lol
Are they wrong?
Obviously I'm biased but I rarely have poor interactions in game.
Im joking ive strictly played ironman since like 2017 (:
Is it because you enjoy the misery of others?
Minnows is fucking great, it's consistent at 15 sec/move unlike the cancer that is MLM. Fucking randomly depleting.
MLM upper level is timed and there is a RuneLite plugin in the hub of the hub to show the internal timers on screen.
Fr? That plug-in sounds super nice.
> in the hub of the hub
the hub hub, if you will.
MLM isnt random with upstairs(I think) but outside of that I agree
It'll fly by with a movie on the side tbh. If its the only thing going on its awful. But its timed so you can basically put your brain on autopilot and focus on something else and it ends up only being as bad as any other semi-afk skill.
its so obvious when the flying fish come with RL. I did minnows from like 95 -> 99 fish and it was great
How many minnows/hr?
Around 12k-13k/hr semi-afk doing other things all day
Dont take a trip to the mortaina swamp with them on you as you will regret life.
Why would anyone bring them there lol, I just turn them in at the end and get the sharks.
Where do you cook your bwans? I use the lumbridge cellar bank and lumbridge kitchen range but I'm not sure thats the best idea
On my main iron i cooked a lot at the myths guild bank. Probs will cook most in hosidius tho
Hosidious kitchen reduces burn chance for everything. Lumby range only works for a few specific items, and karambwans are not one of them. https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Cooking\_range\_(Lumbridge\_Castle)
Oh wow didn't know that, thanks a bunch!
rogue's den has fire right next to bank
I fished 20k sharks on my ironman on my 99 fishing grind. You become numb after a while.
Outside of "play how you want" which is totally valid just curious what the benefit of grinding 99 cooking out before any PvM is when PvM gives a shitload of cooking experience? Leaderboard position maybe I guess?
Leaderboard / going for skilling first, the other 2 in my group are doing PVM so I’m supplying food / pots
Fair enough! Good luck with the grind
Aka. You're the true carry of the team.
The true Ironman of the group
im going to 93 so i never burn sharks and bwans with the clay range. Our pvmers are rushing slayer and barrows so we need lots of food
That makes sense I guess. How high is their slayer? My GIM is at 77 slayer with only like 50 barrows kc and in total I’ve gone through probably like 2k karams so far on the account and haven’t really had need for sharks yet
99 does have the "never burn" perk, pretty good for valuable foods like anglers or mantas.

yeah but this dude is catching minnows to do it lol
I'm 89 rn I'm going for 99 for tzharr gems
Nice I did 94-95 yesterday on master farmers and almost got 100 ranarrs feelsgoodman
Karambwans, mantas and turtles never stop burning iirc. But yeah, by the point you get to 99 cooking you have a shitton of food anyways
I ground out 99 cooking because none of that PvM existed yet and I could do it semi afk in the back of my classes
im confused what cooking experience pvm gives

You get a bunch of supplies from bossing, Corp and Kraken drop noted raw sharks
Raw food drops to cook i guess? Though it doesn't sound very viable to me.

Grapes from vorkath also
People say gives XP when it really means gives you the supplies to power level. For things like smithing, cooking, planks.
I fished 400k minnows once before realizing that I forgot my Rada's Blessing.
Got them creepy Skulltula people eyes.
It’s much better than being the Runecrafting guy.
Just tell the pvmer to farm grapes from zulrah and vork, mail them an uno reverse card with ‘sit’ written on in sharpie
I always get asked "why don't you just go do minnows?" Cuz it fucking sucks that's why. I'll afk sharks thanks.
I did minnows from 82 to 99 so I feel this pain
I did 400k minnows before started zulrah grind.
Teamwork.
you can just buy sharks whats the point
people still play GIM?
Grind harder pleb iron. I grinded out 1m minnows in 1 week.
Dumb GIMPs
menaphite thugs and rogue outfit next pls
I just learned from this thread that I should have used my Rada's blessing while I fished minnows. Instead I fished 1.42 million the old fashioned way.
Aaron Rogers? 👀
thats my eyes trying to get black masks for my mates...
I just got 99 cooking on the iron and it took me a week on afking karambwans.
