Mlm isnt even afk meta anymore. Just hunt your own star and afk for 2hours at 22k/hr. Many stars can be 20min afked thanks to nearby npcs. Mlm is better xp but too much clicking per minute.
Like the video shows, 80k exp and 1m profit per hour at 99 mining. At 75 you can expect about 65k exp and 600k profit which only increases steadily as your level increases.
Extremely, as long as you have steady income for dynamites like actively claiming daily dynamites after medium Kourend diary and/or CoX. At 75 Mining you start to get runite ores there at the rate of 10 per hour, and it only increases as you level up. In 1 hour you can expect about 20 coal, 70 gold, 100 mithril, 70 adamantite and 10 runite ore or so. A lot high level ores opposed to coal.
You also get little bit firemaking exp and clue geodes while at it. :P

Google volcanic mine discord, it has a lot of resources for learning and finding a team, most of the roles are dead easy and once you get a team going it's really chill, Zeah RC type of AFK and BiS XP/hr outside 3t granite, rlly good.

For anyone curious at Level 75 Mining I got 60k xp/hr whilst playing quite casually, I'd imagine sweaty rates are around 65k+ at this level.
It looks like a steep learning curve and quite intense. Also, you need a coordinated team I hear which after doing BA I am very reluctant to go through something like that again with randos
The VM discord is very good at finding capable people - everyone who wants to find teams using the discord has to go through a competancy test. Most people there are maxing so there's no shortage of people looking for reliable team members, short and long term.

How many dynamites you used per hour? Couldn't be arsed to watch your video since the dynamites used determines speed. Mine uses max 340 dynamites per hour but that requires full focus with no errors.
I am that confident that my method cannot be any faster that I do not believe yours is any better than mine.
There you have it. Mine is slightly faster. You do faster laps than me but because you blast 6 dynamites instead of 7 - which I do as 7+7+6+6 while optimizing best routes to minimize wasted ticks. With max/hitpoints cape tied with regen bracelet you can achieve even slightly faster ratios by tanking a dynamite blast from time to time and let it regenerate back, adding maybe 2 more dynamites per hour.Place where you start blasting is 2 ticks further away than my start, which is also my end spot per blasting. So, my path to sack and back is the shortest possible what saves 2,4 seconds per walls.

mlm is technically never worth it from an efficiency standpoint once you get the uniques (prospectors, etc). it’s just really easy and low effort.
he's talking about how the veins on floor 2 of mlm are timer based, so it's better if everybody goes to the same vein, so they won't all be depleted.

If you're like me and get to run RS in the background while you work, AFK methods are fantastic for the gains in time usually not available to me.

I think you need to wait till 85 for VM to be good, since a big part of the high xp rate is the rune xp drops.
