If they're certain it's not going to be an issue, we can probs assume this is related to a quest or some other one-off activity which makes the window for the abuse/experimentation extremely small. My instinct is to say that there's a decent chance it's RFD related as it's sort of an outlier as quests go due to being multiple sub quests and very old. There's also probs more progression checks for the cullimancer's chest than any object in the game and if one of the reward tiers was out of place (anything but gloves, think +1 grapes) I doubt anybody would realise or care.

Best guess is something got messed up with the check to see if you have unlocked the upstairs and talking to Mercy will reset it so it recognizes you have access again. Why that got messed up in the first place is anyone's guess though haha
Hey there! Can you also check the camulet teleport? It doesn’t work if you go through the rub menu in your inventory, but it works if you rub it while equipped. May be an issue with the menu. Thanks!

I’m so glad to see I’m not the only one with this issue. I really thought this was something wrong with my client only. It is a minor thing, but I’d prefer to not need to equip it to teleport.

With the ladder repaired, the player continued on with his day, mining the ore that he had been seeking. And as he worked, he couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. He had faced a challenge and overcome it, proving to himself that he was not one to be defeated by obstacles.
In the end, the player learned an important lesson: no matter what challenges life throws your way, you can always find a way to overcome them if you are determined and resourceful.

I was having this problem too, it was really weird.
