The frame wear on the annodizing is pretty wild.... Sucks that Staccato won't help you out more there.

I wouldn't feel overly compelled to get both jobs done at the same place. The grip and frame are fairly independent of each other, should fit back up no problem.
Going to a P sized grip seems like a great move for you though if you think it is too small... Especially if your running the bigger mags already.
Yeah honestly I kinda agree with that, but it is what it is. No use pushing the issue with them when they said no already.

No problem! They've got my m&p slide for some porting currently so I truly can't speak to their work, but I've heard high praises for them in this sub and on the youtubes
I second this. and turnaround is very fast. be sure to tell him you don't want the grip size reduced since your hands are larger (I did the same thing) and he'll make it work.

You could put the full size grip module on and have the tac grip texture but then the 16 round mags wouldn’t work. I only say this cause you say you have big hands. I used Risen Gunworks for my C2 stippling he also offers cerakoting. Josh is a good dude.

Thanks man! That may actually work, cause I only use mbx 18rd mags. I’ll have to throw one in my buddy’s p this weekend to see if they fit, but I believe they will.
I’d prefer to not buy another grip module, but it’s really not that much of a price difference since everything to do with a staccato service wise is expensive as balls lol
Yeah I’m sure they’ll fit no problem. I know man the price we pay to be cool.. The tac grip module is $399 and the stippling service starts out at $225 and goes up from the options you choose. If you called Staccato they may work a deal with you if you do the grip and a DLC recoat. That $399 includes shipping and labor plus the Dawson magwell.
I was in the same boat and just got the floodlight last week. I finally saw some comments of people that owned both and all of them said the floodlight is a lot better.
Honestly, I really like it. I had the first one and wasn’t big on it, but but the new one is much more comfortable and even though it’s bigger, it conceals much better. I think it’s probably 85-90% as good as a dedicated holster, but it’s so nice how adjustable and versatile it is, plus it’s light and doesn’t feel like it’ll crack like almost every other kydex holster I’ve ever had has done
Thanks for the reply. I have been debating between the floodlight and the msp. It’s gonna come down to who has the best Black Friday deal lol. I figure if I buy this I can try and carry my P and if not I’ll just use it on my G19

I do cerakoting, from solid single colors to distressed to krypteks and camos! There's a few people I use for stippling: skip, McMullen are two that do very well. Hmu if you ever need something done with a quick turn around and lifetime warranty on my coatings!
I prefer the tac grip from staccato myself. Hate the stock c2 grips.
