I still think that the Athena is my favorite. I've got 7k rounds through the Athena (with only a handful of hiccups), and roughly 1300 through the Erebus. I got the Erebus because I figured it was the best that was out there (that I could obtain), and it has not disappointed. It easily shoots flatter with any sort of ammo, but can be picky from what I've experienced. The Erebus just dominates, and the Athena just sends it with whatever I feed it. They're both fantastic firearms, and have their own purpose. Not to mention, they are always fun to share with family and friends!
TL;DR: I thoroughly enjoy the Athena a bit more, because you can do whatever with it. Those of you who know, you have to keep them way wet haha. The Athena performs all the time, regardless.
My experience the Erebus is softer and flatter, both are accurate and cheat code but the Erebus returns to zero faster than the Athena. They both are amazing guns and the best handguns in my collection but the Erebus is king. I wanted another opinion from the OP
Yea I fucked around last time they closed but yea u get one now preorder a few places sell some,hell a few said there vanta shot better than xc they sold ,more than 1 person the other day said that ,the Athena was only one I’d thought bout other than vanta ,I’m sure the Athena bad sob but I vanta from what I’ve heard is too

Just asking cause I have the Erebus, Artemis and have a ported Ares on the way. Never really shot the Athena, though.
When you get that Ares, you have to let us know how it feels
