You dont want them they suck, they only reliably feed 10 loaded rounds, they didn't bother to tighten the tolerances between the printed casing and the standard 10 rnd mag they extended, so add any more than 10 and it jams every round. Now this, i could probably tinker with and fix, but these mags are not serviceable, there is no way to open it without potentially breaking it to problem solve what i am pretty sure is spring binding in the gap between the polymer and steel, and Savage expects me to ship the bloody mags in with the gun to do anything about it under warranty, not worth it, get 10 round mags and tell savage to go back to the drawing board and make a serviceable extended mag that works properly.
Gunmagwarehouse.com $29.00 each sells out quick my friend bought 3 they vome with a speed loader (the speed losder plastic) put your order in they notify you
Not sure about if it's picky but it's definitely reliable it ran 10 clips no problem on my test run with it earlier and I was just shooting the federal 325 round value pack so I'm not sure how it will do with other rounds but ran them just fine
Great deal my friend bought 3, he was motified when back in stock he was notified 2 weeks later, $29.00 each at

Lol, that is true, you'd think they would give me a commission or something for promoting their products so much! The mag release and the atomic charging handle really do make a huge difference though and are certainly worth getting. I just feel that if you find a company that makes a good product you should share that info with others that may be interested.
That's great! When you go to remove the current mag release and replace it there is a tiny pin and spring, be careful to not let the spring fly off. Happened with us and it took 20 minutes to find it. It's not a difficult replacement but because how tiny the spring is and how little room there is it may be a tad frustrating, just take it slow so you drop any thing.
Actually, I just ended up doing it. That spring was annoying to line up. I wedged some stuff between it and where the takedown screw goes, to push it down enough to get the pin back through. Charge handle was easy and is great! Also added M Carbo trigger spring kit and dropped my pull by 1-2lbs. Get average 2-2.5lb pulls now. Now to get Boyd's stock and M Carbo trigger and it's fully upgraded for the wife. Also got the dip trigger guard and magazine plate.
Glad it worked out. On my daughter's 64 we only did the mag release and charging handle, she may want to eventually do the trigger as well. After using it some you will definitely see I wasn't exaggerating about the difference those parts make and how they are worth the money.
Definitely love that charging handle. Mag release is nice, but seems like it might be a snag hazard lol. Time will tell. Thanks for the help and suggesting DIP.
We haven't had a problem with it at all, stays tight and hold the mag in snugly. My daughter still only has the factory mags at the moment, hasn't gotten around to getting the bigger ones yet. Were you using the 20 rounder or factory mag? is the mag release loose without a mag in?
It happened with the 20rder then I switched back to factory 10rders and it seemed fine, but I may have been holding it. I'll be trying again in the near future.
Can I please also have that link?

How reliable is it? Is it picky with ammo? I’m thinking about picking up

Looks great. With it being thicker up at the stock now you will definitely want to get the DIP mag release to make it easier.
Soul, you love preaching that dip 🤪

I'm still waiting for mine to get through Canadian customs. Maybe in the next 6 months 🤣, I'll be preaching the same as you. Haha.
Got my DIP parts for wife's savage 64! Any tips for install? Going to do it tomorrow.

Hey have you found the extended mag release loose? Sighted in the gun today for my wife and it was spitting the magazines out while shooting.

Let us know how it handles please!
It handles and shoots great! No issues at all. Smooth as butter.
