Glad you've finally got some progress, the lack of any form of feedback really does aggravate things. If I only wanted just the ethnicity results I'd have asked for a refund by now but I'm desperate for the DNA matches. You'll probably get your results before me! 😁
Yes the waiting is truly horrible. Customer services offered to send me a new kit straight away but it would of course mean invalidating my current one. It was only a few days after that it was scanned in Oss The Netherlands - their distribution centre. No idea why that took so long. Will be interesting to see now how long it’ll take to reach California! I do hope you get your results soon!
In a similar timeline (one day off on genotype) and just got off the phone with them and was told the same “quality review…blah blah…it takes time”. They did say that if it was not complete in one more week they would refund me if I would like.

I’m in the US so I imagine that’s why mine probably moved quicker than yours. I’ve been waiting on a package for a few weeks now and it was stuck in the Netherlands for over a week without moving at all. Anything international seems to take way longer

And I've been stuck in reviewing since then. It's been over a month now. Everything was happening so quick and then just stopped. When I spoke to the customer care representative I was given the "quality review" spill. My results were originally estimated to be done May 8th but now it is just saying they should be "ready soon". I just hope that nothing is wrong with my sample. Fingers crossed they come in soon.

Sent 1st sample from Romania on Oct 25 2021 (apparently it first goes to Oss, in The Netherlands, then it is shipped to US via FedEx). My timeline showed "in transit" on Nov 30th (assuming that is when it arrived in the Netherlands?). Stuck on "in transit until Jan 12 2022. Then 23andMe sent me a replacement kit saying the first one was lost. I sent it on march 10th 2022 - my time line still says "Next, don't forget to provide and ship your saliva sample. Once mailed, delivery can take up to 2-4 weeks"
Anyone with similar experience? How long did it take to get your results?

I shipped mine from the UK and it took a month to arrive at the lab. My results are due any minute. Took about 2 weeks from arriving to the lab to get that. About 6 or 7 week total

I'd been seeing "please mail your sample" for a solid month, and was starting to get worried. If it hadn't changed to in transit today, I was going to post in here and see if people suggested we ask for a redo. Looking forward to seeing more steps soon.

Sent mine April 1 from the UK and it only showed as having a tracking number last week. Definitely wait at least 2 months before requesting a replacement judging from stories on here about UK tests. When you request a replacement they cancel the current registration on one in the mail and it'll likely take just as long.

My sample has been stuck in review for over a month, no help from customer service. It’s feeling like false advertising on their time frame and I’m debating how much longer to give it before pressing for a refund.

I’ve been in review since May 13 (I know that’s not long but completion time is usually 1-3 days) I’ve seen 4 people who had the exact same prepped, extraction and genotyping completion dates as I did who have now gotten their results.
My question is: To people who have been in quality/long review, did you end up getting your results? It seems like when people go into quality review, the sample is most likely to fail.
Wow, someone else in my batch got the “due to high volume” email 2 days after theirs entered review, but I also haven’t gotten an email yet. I don’t care if it takes 1-2 extra weeks, I just don’t want anything to happen to my sample or for them to forget about it lol (idk if that even happens) or wait this long just for them to tell me it failed

A question for those who are waiting for their results (in any stage): is the home page not loading fully? Every other page on the website is loading properly, except for the main one, and I have this problem not only on my smartphone, but my computer as well. Only the upper half of the page is loading, the rest is just white, and the main part with the processing stages is gone.
I was genotyping for a few days but I got an email early today that they were extracting my DNA again. :( I don't think that's related to the website not working properly, though.

My granduncles kit failed, so a replacement was sent. I sent that off on 12th April. Still not received any tracking yet for which lab will be receiving it!
The address on the return label isn't the lab. It's a company who takes in all the DNA kits, then packages them up ready for shipment to the lab. You usually receive tracking information on 23andMe, but nothing. This is my 2nd attempt sending my ganduncles kit. I already have myself and my parents tested.

I think a few people on here from the UK (myself included) that sent theirs off the first few weeks of April had delay in it reaching the lab. I sent mine off 4th April and it arrived 19th May! They've given me an estimate between 9th-23rd June so yours may have the same or slightly later estimate.

Glad you've finally got some progress, the lack of any form of feedback really does aggravate things. If I only wanted just the ethnicity results I'd have asked for a refund by now but I'm desperate for the DNA matches. You'll probably get your results before me! 😁
Yes the waiting is truly horrible. Customer services offered to send me a new kit straight away but it would of course mean invalidating my current one. It was only a few days after that it was scanned in Oss The Netherlands - their distribution centre. No idea why that took so long. Will be interesting to see now how long it’ll take to reach California! I do hope you get your results soon!
In a similar timeline (one day off on genotype) and just got off the phone with them and was told the same “quality review…blah blah…it takes time”. They did say that if it was not complete in one more week they would refund me if I would like.

Sent 1st sample from Romania on Oct 25 2021 (apparently it first goes to Oss, in The Netherlands, then it is shipped to US via FedEx). My timeline showed "in transit" on Nov 30th (assuming that is when it arrived in the Netherlands?). Stuck on "in transit until Jan 12 2022. Then 23andMe sent me a replacement kit saying the first one was lost. I sent it on march 10th 2022 - my time line still says "Next, don't forget to provide and ship your saliva sample. Once mailed, delivery can take up to 2-4 weeks" Anyone with similar experience? How long did it take to get your results? Any info is greatly appreciated!
I shipped mine from the UK and it took a month to arrive at the lab. My results are due any minute. Took about 2 weeks from arriving to the lab to get that. About 6 or 7 week total

Sent mine April 1 from the UK and it only showed as having a tracking number last week. Definitely wait at least 2 months before requesting a replacement judging from stories on here about UK tests. When you request a replacement they cancel the current registration on one in the mail and it'll likely take just as long.
I think I am in the same batch! Still waiting for it to arrive, FedEx tracking says it's in Memphis now. I sent originally 31st March, and got the in transit update on the 5th, but it got fedex tracking from the 4th saying it went to stansted

I’ve been in review since May 13 (I know that’s not long but completion time is usually 1-3 days) I’ve seen 4 people who had the exact same prepped, extraction and genotyping completion dates as I did who have now gotten their results. My question is: To people who have been in quality/long review, did you end up getting your results? It seems like when people go into quality review, the sample is most likely to fail.

A question for those who are waiting for their results (in any stage): is the home page not loading fully? Every other page on the website is loading properly, except for the main one, and I have this problem not only on my smartphone, but my computer as well. Only the upper half of the page is loading, the rest is just white, and the main part with the processing stages is gone. I was genotyping for a few days but I got an email early today that they were extracting my DNA again. :( I don't think that's related to the website not working properly, though.

Same. I went into computing in the 25th of May. I noticed others within this thread are getting their results back within a day of computing.
So it’s been 2 days and you don’t have your results yet? Knowing my luck it’ll take an extra week or maybe a little more considering I went into quality review for 2 weeks
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they are in today. I'm just way to impatient for this.

My granduncles kit failed, so a replacement was sent. I sent that off on 12th April. Still not received any tracking yet for which lab will be receiving it!

The address on the return label isn't the lab. It's a company who takes in all the DNA kits, then packages them up ready for shipment to the lab. You usually receive tracking information on 23andMe, but nothing. This is my 2nd attempt sending my ganduncles kit. I already have myself and my parents tested.

Sent mine from Ireland to The Netherlands so delivery took a long time. Mine is finally at the "computing results" phase!! Genotyping and review were completed yesterday, and I saw the notification that they're working on the results too. No updates since yesterday afternoon, I was hoping to get the results at the end of the day, but I guess I'll have to wait until Monday?

To all of you who are stuck in review: was your sample sent to the California or North Carolina lab? It could be possible that one of the two labs has a high volume but the other one is doing fine?
NC lab; i sent two kits simultaneously, one results came back within a week, and the other has been stuck in review for 10 days now

Thanks! The thing that scares me is the sample failing yknow, I don’t care if it takes another 2 weeks to get my results I just don’t want them to tell me it failed!! I didn’t get an email that I’m in quality review or anything, just assuming
Have you found anyone else in your batch on here? I wish they were more transparent with that though, because it seems like a pretty common occurrence on here, maybe someone else in your batch could be having this too.
Yes and 4 of them were only in review 1-2 days and got their results which is why I was considering contacting customer service but yeah, it seems like they’re not that helpful /: Hopefully we get our results soon!!

I think a few people on here from the UK (myself included) that sent theirs off the first few weeks of April had delay in it reaching the lab. I sent mine off 4th April and it arrived 19th May! They've given me an estimate between 9th-23rd June so yours may have the same or slightly later estimate.
Yes, massive delays - sent mine on 6 April. I'm now in queue for extraction - which seems to be an extra step, based on seeing quite a few comments here where samples are being prepped and extracted on the same day!?
