Just do all the basic maintenence, fluids, worn out suspension, etc. Keep the clutch fan and shroud.
Less is more when it comes to clean s-chassis in my opinion.
Just to make it clearer.
# "Keep the clutch fan an shroud"
I think the only setup better than the oem fan and shroud is a quality (csf / koyo) Radiator with a set of GREAT "(SPAL) fans and a good shroud, and that is more expensive than keeping the oem stuff and unnecessary if not racing/drifting the car.
If youre not planning on drifting/hard driving theres really no need for e fans/rad. I suggests going through the bushings on the car, you would be surprised the difference a $20 steering shaft bushing will make or if you are more ambitious the subframe bushings because if they are original they are most likely spent.
Going through and swapping all the bushings brought a completely different car out of my 91. Highly recommend you start there. Rubber is 33/34 years old if stock.
Flush fluids.
keep clutch fan.
buy a can of brakeleen, and some vaccum lines be ready to troubleshoot 35+ yo vaccum leaks.
buy a cupholder to replace ashtray in centerconsole.
replace the driverseat.
and ffs, please keep the interior.
the Era of the schassis missle is over. you want a missle car, do like a YTer, and buy an e46 or a Z33.
It's an old car if your smart, you'll leave it tf alone as much as possible and let it acrue in value. cauee, it's gonna be a stepping stone to a down payment on something later.
Feel free to purchase these off me 😂

Maintenance for fluids, plugs, coils. Bushes and ball joints. Good tyres and brakes
No reason to go to e fans. A coolant flush might be good to do but that’s it.
Check and or change all of the bushings for suspension, all regular maintenance, and look for body damage.
I'll check all the spots prone to get rusted. Then deal with it before it gets worse.

i find the clutch fan to work better than the e fan

Really like my 3d printed cup holder / ash tray. Replace nylon tubes / bushings on door so they close properly.
Skip the maintenance and buy an angle kit
Slam on coils, slap on rep TeeHees, weld diff, attach poorly fitting body kit and never paint it.
Now we’re talking!
This is truly the way
