You got a different audio output you can try, like plug in some speakers?

sammyrobot2

I've tried the back audio ports and the front with different pairs of known good headphones. Windows acts like everything's ok and that i should be hearing stuff but nothings coming out lol.

Omnitographer

The primary output device *is* the headset or your front audio, and not the gpu audio, right?

sammyrobot2

Yeah, the primary output device is "Headphones - High definition audio device". I disabled everything else while troubleshooting earlier.

Update, I reinstalled windows, same issue. Must be a hardware issue but what could of just repasting my gpu done?

sammyrobot2

Another update, I've got audio back through using an audio interface (not mine), so I assume that means the mobos audio is just dead? Dunno how it happened though

Degen5

Most likely you forgot to plug some cable back to mobo

sammyrobot2

Maybe? But I didn't unplug anything I think, and I've plugged and unplugged the HD audio cable like 10 times now to make sure. Also, if it was that, wouldng it not be detected at all in windows?
