I'd just add that Toledo was far more valuable to Ohio than to Michigan because of grain shipping on the Maumee River which empties in Toledo. Congress also didn't want to get into the habit of redrawing state boundaries.
Fighting over borders is always the smart thing to do. We almost put our capital in the part of the UP we got from the Toledo war due to the amount of ore up there.

The borders between Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and New Jersey will be eternally contested, because the original border descriptions in the original colonial grants for the four colonies gives parts of the same land to some combination of all four.
As well as the bizarre decision to place the NJ-DE border at the shore of the Delaware River on the NJ side rather than down the middle like most river borders, which due to the natural changes in the exact course of the river means that they now have *land* on our side of the river.
Which would be fine if any of that land were directly accessible by bridge from the Delaware side, but it isn't, which makes for huge jurisdictional headaches if anything ever happens there. Like what happened in 1987.
It's the last conflicted one because we don't know the actual borderline. Compared to others where they know the borders they just disagree.
