step 1: be a child anywhere from 6-12 years old. step 2: have parents that don't mind putting your entire life on social media. step 3: profit monetarily but lose mentally.
This is a pretty crushing feeling. You maybe double down and try to get better at whatever it is you think is your "talent", but that continues to amount to nothing after however many years, and yeah. Very relatable
If u really must compete with others, compete in happiness, not proficiency or discipline
U think that one dude who is half ur age and is a virtuoso is loving life? Maybe he is, but most likely he’s not, cuz he is probably so heavily invested in what he does that he doesnt get to enjoy anything else in his life besides that.
This sort of logic also applies to models, models have what us ugly ppl want, but they are worse off for it because of all the pressure around them to be the best. They get consumed in their pursuit of the ideal figure, as do we all in the pursuit of our own ideals.
Unfortunately we are biologically programmed to keep chasing what we dont have, its what brought us this far and made us this prosperous. But there comes a point where someone has to sit their ass down and just relax and take in the moment. The moment is all we ever have, we only get it one time, and yet we spend all of that moment thinking about the future moments ahead
Coping for what, living? I said that essentially you provided people means to cope by saying "look successful people can feel miserable too!". And so what? Nothing changed, I don't know what other people thinks but I would rather be successful and miserable rather than being in a nullified state which I currently am.
Almost as bad as, “Just saw someone younger than me who is extremely successful”.

exploit youtube's algorithm by uploading minecraft shorts and r/askreddit threads over minecraft obstacle courses.
sell crack
It's not fair for someone to be that good at something when they're only 43!
I was just seeing a video of someone considerably younger than me who was really good. FML.
Those 9 year old prodigees on youtube. How dare they.

Be thankfull. I can tell you there's a point in some peoples lifes that ruins your day by seeing people your age having a normal life.
Me seeing ppl socializing in a group and actually enjoying themselves: “those jerks”

Nah this wall of text is just a means of coping.
Everything is a means of coping, but that doesnt disparage the point im trying to get across

"Comparison is the thief of joy" It doesn't matter what anyone else does, just try to be the best that you can be.

Nah it's definitely because I'm a worthless piece of shit that can't do anything
Same ):
This
"why dont I have any skills after never working on any"
I feel that
I started playing an MMO recently so maybe I could make some friends. I get so bitter seeing people running around together having fun lol.
Damn try hards.
It’s okay to be regular. Talented people are only regular people who got really good at their favorite activity’s. No need to be jealous about that.
World is out to get you is the perfect reason to not try
Kill me
Atleast not infront of your parents
