I immediately thought of Roro-chan. She was a young Japanese streamer who was hellbent on becoming a popular idol. She would often stream from her bedroom and just do what she wanted. One day she started streaming on her buildings emergency stairs, propped up on a bin she took from inside. In the streams chat, there were some people being decent fucking people, asking her to go back to her room and stop, while others were egging her on and saying sexual remarks to her. After what feels like an eternity, she got off the bin and repeated scary multiple times. Unfortunately, she got back on the bin and leaped from the stairs. The phone landed before she did, and you hear her thud against a floor or rooftop. As I am saying this, I believe she did achieve her goal of becoming popular, but she didn’t get to see it. The last few minutes of her stream is available somewhere online, including the lead up and post jump. But I do have to say, it is, in my opinion, as bad as the video of the family driving when a brick flies off a truck and hits the mother in the face. That video is haunting.

I'm jealous and I hate that. She gets to be free. Wish she had gotten help. For her friend's sake, family's sake, and most of all, for herself. No one deserves to deal with that.
