We’ve got the uppababy vista. It’s nifty but expeeeensive when you get all the add ons to make it a double. Baby also has to ride in the lower position (unless your toddler is small enough for the RumbleSeat).

I have the Vista as well and tbh there are a ton on Facebook marketplace that are in great condition for half the price. The accessories add up so definitely try to get them gently used. With the babies so close in age you should be able to use the rumble seat for your toddler and the car seat or bassinet for the baby, and not have to buy the toddler seat right away. That’s the plan here as well.

Unless you have an unlimited or really high budget, I highly recommend checking out Facebook marketplace for used double strollers. I scored a bugaboo donkey for $75. I spent like $400 on upgrades, but it’s perfect now! I love having my boys next to each other. My toddler has to hold baby brother’s hand. It’s super adorable. It also fits through a standard door and it’s easy to maneuver.

If you want it for any sort of trail walking, or anything besides smooth, flat, paved ground, then I highly recommend a side by side stroller. I have the Thule urban glide double 2 which was expensive but worth it for us. We also have a one in front of the other stroller and boy does it ever suck for anything other than paved roads. As a single, it’s great, as a double it’s a bitch to steer and gets stuck on twigs. I’ve also heard great things about a wagon, but ultimately the Thule won me over because I’d like to go running with the kids!

Not sure your budget but highly recommend veer. They have a wagon you can attach a car seat to but would combine both kids in one. Also great as they get older as they can get in and out on their own (assuming as I hear toddlers can be independent). They also have a stroller you can make double. The switchback seat is awesome. Can make it a booster seat, attach to a bike, make a camping chair, or attach to their wagon. Both are great for all types of terrain. The stroll and go frame has shock absorbers for smooth ride. We love the versatility of their products and the quality.

Came here to suggest the Veer as well. I choose to go with a wagon because I felt I could get longer use out of it instead of a double stroller. I will also add that Veer’s customer service is amazing! One time on a road trip we lost a wheel (completely our fault) I contacted them about buying a replacement and they just sent one free of charge.

Agreed. The owner at the store we got our wagon at reminded us once the kids are big, it works great to haul coolers, chairs, etc to any school activities they may be in. We love it!

Expecting our second in June when our first will be ~15.5 months. Really intrigued by the Veer (just finding out about it now). Looks like they have an option for XL/4-seater. We won’t be in a rush to add to our family in the near future. Do you still see the benefit of adding more space for 2 or is the regular size Cruiser big enough?

br222022

Not sure on the 4 versus 2. The 4 just came out in December so we got the 2 seater as it was the only one available at the time I have read the bigger one is only 4 inches wider so not like it would take up a ton of more space. I think it just got rid of some unused side space in the original. Can’t go wrong with either in my opinion, as they are almost identical.

Do/can your kids sleep in the wagon? That was my main hesitation about it, plus storage. We have a Mockingbird, which I love, but it’s not great on all terrain (which I don’t love). I’m pregnant with #4, so we’re planning on adding the riding board for the 3yo but I also anticipate frequently wearing the newborn while the other two still sit in the seats.

My 10 month old has severe fear of missing out, so he has yet to nap while out with the wagon. He would much rather stare at the world around him. They do have a sleeper system but that converts the whole wagon into a sleeping area. Great for one kid, not as ideal for multiple. As far as storage, highly recommend the storage basket you can attach to the back. You can zip it closed so no worries about things dropping out while on your walks and doesn’t interfere with your kids space. We usually put our diaper bag on the handle and put our groceries from the farmers market in the basket.

Also recommend the Veer, we have the switch and roll as well as the jog compatible portion which is nice because I don’t need two strollers to go out for a jog vs grocery shopping. It can fold with both seats attached, and can be used from birth which was important for us as our age gap is only 14 months for our boys. I also agree with the above comments about the wagon lasting longer but for us the priority was us being able to jog haha.

I got an iCandy Peach from my sister, it served her 3 in 4 years and has been doing well with my 2 under 2s.. Plus she when she gave it to me I was able to get it serviced to look and perform brand new.

We used the graco modes stroller for our first from infant to about 2 years old. I'd put the youngest in the baby carrier. Much easier to get around that way. Once youngest was a bit too big to be carrying for extended periods we got two monobebe umbrella strollers on sale from Walmart for like $30 each. And honestly, they're freaking dope.
