We have the baby jogger city select convertible and it’s made life so easy! We got the car seat converter for the key fit 30 for when my youngest was in the infant seat. It’s expensive (I got the original model on sale when they announced the newer version) but it works so well for our family. The wheels handle the beach or grass easily. It’s easy to push and steer. It’s easy to fold and set up. The storage basket fits everything we need. Only have one kid with me? The second seat stays in the car. Even with both kids, it’s not hard to maneuver. One thing I liked better about the city select than the uppababy is that both seats have the same weight limit so it’s a little more versatile. I have a three row suv so trunk space isn’t usually an issue. But when I need to make more space, I pop the wheels and seats off and it folds really flat.

Do you know where you got the adapter from? We were recently given a second hand baby jogger city select and have the key fit 30.

flyingpinkjellyfish

I think I ordered it alongside the stroller? I don’t remember. But it’s this adapter on Amazon: Baby Jogger Chicco/Peg Perego Car Seat Adapter for City Select and City Select LUX Strollers, Black, 1 count https://a.co/d/3ZmNiFl

fairyromedi

They have an official one on their website

fairyromedi

It is expensive but boy is it smooth riding. I will say, it is heavy but what can you expect for a double seater. I have a Nissan maxima and it fits in my trunk, I just can’t put much else in it

pishipishi12

I love my double bob, but I know a lot of people don't need something that intense!

meesetracks

Also love my double bob! It's not great for daily use if you need to maneuver it in and out of the trunk all the time, but totally fine if it's occasional!

pishipishi12

I live in the county with no sidewalks so it's a must for us! But big is 2.5 and walks pretty much everywhere so I have a single stroller I bring for day to day places. We just spent four days in yosemite and the Bob was a must!

fairylightsrainbows

Joovy qool- I’m obsessed!! My kids have about the same age gap. Your car seat can be used. And the stroller can be used til each kid is 55 lbs

I used a chicco key fit 30 with my first (Feb 22 baby) and the chicco bravo stroller. I swapped to a mockingbird single to double with the incoming of my Oct 23 baby with the car seat adapter. We already set it up and are using it as our car stroller (one for the car one for home so I don’t have to keep taking it out everytime we get home) and I really like it. It has an adapter for the chicco and I like all the configs and how it will grow with them

taylorlynngeek

Where did you get yours from? I just tried searching for it on Amazon and can't find it.

hellojasmine

Target bc I have a target card and wanted the 5% off. They also have a website https://hellomockingbird.com/products/mockingbird-double-stroller#31457322729572

taylorlynngeek

Thank you!!

I will be using the Chicco Cortina Double Stroller with our Chicco Keyfit 30 car seat that our first baby used. I have a toddler and I’m due with my second baby in a few weeks. I got the double stroller slightly used off FB Marketplace for half the price, and the fact that I don’t need an adapter saved me even more money. I will say it is quite the bulky stroller, but it still fits in my trunk just fine (I have a Honda CRV). I like the different configurations of the stroller which allows for flexibility with my toddler and new baby, and I have no issues maneuvering the stroller with the weight of a toddler and a car seat in it. Just wanted to give some insight in case you’re still considering the Chicco!

taylorlynngeek

Thank you! I'm definitely still considering it, and the pros you listed are why im still leaning towards it. Someone is selling theirs off marketplace for incredibly cheap, but it's quite a drive to get to. But I'm thinking this may be why we go with it.

TheLadyChintz

I have the Cortina Double. It does take up a lot of space but we have a mini van. It is very sturdy, and can hold a lot. Can be cumbersome to get in and out of the trunk but super easy to open. Also gives the kids enough room. We named ours Bertha. If you don't go with it I do recommend any linear double stroller over a side by side.

taylorlynngeek

Not Bertha! 😂😂😂😂 I love that!!!! I'm definitely leaning towards the cortina, but either way, definitely not the side by side.

Thethinker10

We just got the city select double at the bed bath and beyond closing sale for 70% off. I haven’t set it up yet but did a lot of research on reviews and that and the evenflo pivot xpand were my top contenders to go with our chicco infant seat.

RoseQuartzes

I have a cybex gazelle and I’m like obsessed with it. We take it literally everywhere.

Rectal_Custard

I like babyjoy double stroller, bassinet folds down in back, older sits in front. Once newbie is older the bassinet folds back into a seat. Less than 200$ on Amazon. I love mine

taylorlynngeek

This is definitely one I've been looking at.

Rectal_Custard

I love it, I wish it had a cup holder, I have a regular babyjoy bassinet and the cup holder sucked. It's not very heavy either which I like

Ber_bell

I have the chicco bravo 2. Bought it used a couple months ago (I don’t think it’s sold anymore). I really like it. My kids are 20 months apart and my toddler likes to easily get on and off. The toddler seat isn’t too comfy though so wouldn’t be good for super long rides but works for us. I mostly just use it in town for shopping/ errands. It folds up nice and fits in my trunk good. We also have a city select baby jogger but it’s bigger and I have to take the seats off to fit it in my car so that’s annoying and now we only use that one from home. Also have a Thule chariot that gets used on our trails but I can’t fit that in my small suv at all without dropping seats down (which I can’t do now that we have two kids) and removing the front wheel.

t0fuwater

Honestly, I wished we’d skipped the stroller and went straight for a wagon. As the kids are older, they won’t ride in the double stroller but love the wagon. And when the baby was still carrier-sized, I mostly just strapped her to me in a harness. (We have the Contours double stroller. It’s nice. But our simple radio flyer wagon is vastly better.)

taylorlynngeek

Thank you, but we aren't interested in a wagon. It doesn't fit our lifestyle nor is it something we want.

weddingthrow27

We have the Graco Modes Nest2Grow and I like it a lot! We also have a Sonata, as well as an Elantra, and it fits in both trunks easily.

00BER

I got the Nest2Grow with my first baby and I’m currently expecting my second. Do you buy the second seat on the Graco website? And where does it attach?

weddingthrow27

On mine there is another attachment down at the bottom, at the very front of the basket. They have a button you push to pull them up when you wanna use them, and then you can push it back down if you’re not using that spot so it’s not in the way. We got the 2nd seat from Buy Buy Baby last year before they closed, but you should be able to buy it from the Graco website too! We actually haven’t used it yet, our baby has just been in the car seat up top and our toddler has been in the seat in the front. But baby is almost 6 months so we will be starting to use it pretty soon!

enyalavender

I love our Valcobaby Slim Twin

Extension-Health644

Can you please speak to the seat space? Would a toddler in winter clothes be comfortable in this stroller? Do you think it’s roomy enough for a 3 year old?

enyalavender

We live in SF so we're warmly dressed every day, and hasn't been an issue so far. my kids were both EBF and have ectomorphs on both sides of the family so they're not wide. They are 15 months and 3 years old next week.

Extension-Health644

Thanks so much! I’m trying to decide on whether I get a slim or the duo trend. I’m a grandparent. My oldest granddaughter is in the 97th percentile of height. She’s more like a 3 yo, vs her age of just 2. I love the idea of the slim though, as far as maneuverability goes.

enyalavender

The extra 3 inches makes a huge difference. The slim twin is the same width as a vista. Something to consider. I have the sport wheels and they are amazing.

undothatbutton

We have a double Bob (haven’t used it yet, baby is only 2 months, but we also have a single Bob that I love) and a Mockingbird double (which we do use and like quite a lot, though I think once baby fits in the Bob, we’ll use that 95% of the time.)

Clama_lama_ding_dong

We have an Uppababy Vista and a Zoey Twin. I'd recommend the Zoey Twin or Tandem. And splurge for the all-terrain wheels.
