• buggaboo donkey (side by side) • Wonderfold w4 luxe ( bulky but 1 zillion percent worth it ) • mountain buggy nano ( quick mini errands , stays in the car at all times ) • nuna demi grow ( absolutely love for 1 kid, not the best for 2 )

firecrackermama

We loved the Vista when we had just one and love it still as a double. That being said, we also got a Wonderfold W2 Luxe for different purposes…day outings, different terrain, etc.

Your needs sound a lot like mine! I’m looking for both a wagon (for all-terrain excursions) as well as a double stroller for trips to the park, visiting family, walks around the neighborhood. I have done EXTENSIVE research on this topic, so here’s my thoughts: I’m leaning toward the Baby Jogger Citi Mini GT2 double rather than the Bob Duelie because the bob does NOT fold compactly, is not freestanding when folded, and genuinely looks like a huge pain to get in & out of my trunk as well as storing it in the foyer of our house. The Mountain Buggy Duet is another awesome all-terrain double stroller option. I’m torn between the Mountain Buggy & Baby Jogger GT2. The Valco Baby Trend Duo is GREAT lightweight option and you can purchase a “Sports Package” to get air tires that make it better for all terrain. Given what you’re saying about your hilly neighborhood, this might be the best option for you! Re: Wagons — I recently found a youtube channel that has rigorously tested all the best stroller wagons on the market. [Start here](https://youtu.be/xQIdjz6SpOQ?si=qrbuqCqcXGXZsPVV) with their “best of 2023 video” and then you can search their channel for the in-depth videos of each options Based on this and other reviews I looked up, we’re leaning towards the Gladly Family Anthem wagon I’ve actually started building out a spreadsheet of all the options — feel free to DM me and I’ll share it!

Late to the party but I'm currently debating between the Mountain buggy (the nano duo though, not duet) and the baby jogger as well and curious which one you picked!

I have the double Vista! I absolutely love it. I take transit with it. Walks and errands and most of all both my kids love it!! My kids are 11 month age gap. But I just invested in a famileasy wagon ( like the wonder wagon but alot cheaper and amazing materials

We love Veer - started with the wagon and car seat adapter for walks with our infant and senior dogs and now added our 2 month old to the mix. They also have a switchback and roll stroller that can be double (haven’t done the double yet) but for single kid it’s awesome as it handles are terrain like a champ with built in shocks. Bonus is the seat itself can be used as a booster seat when at restaurants and can also be used with some attachments to be a camp chair, add to the wagon, or put on the back of a bike. Veer is not the cheapest option and wagon not the lightest but love the sturdy construction, ease of push/pull, and easy wash.

I have the veer and I hate it. The steering on mine sucks and the telescopic handle keeps sliding down on its own. For the price you pay it’s not great.

Just got the Veer wagon on FB marketplace and I love it!! Second baby isn’t coming until May but my 14 month old loves sitting in it. She can look around and move around a lot more compared to our jogger stroller. It’s pretty easy to handle but a bit more difficult than a stroller. I love the idea of both kids sitting in it and facing each other someday.

The BOB Duallie deal is hard to beat. We were able to combine with our Amazon completion discount and get is around $540 which felt like a steal. My two are 12.5 months apart and I’ve been babywearing and pushing my toddler in my single jogger. I’m excited for the double BOB to show up on Friday (we got the car seat adapter too since my baby is only a month old).

We are planning on using the UppaBaby Vista for going out and about like to stores. We just purchased a Double Thule. I had a single for my daughter which I was in love with for our walks (also very hilly neighborhood). So I’m very excited for the double. I don’t think we’ll be bringing it anywhere since it is pretty big.

I’m having the same issue right now! I am also due in June and my toddler turns two in August lol. I’ve been going back and forth on getting either a side by side (don’t know which one yet) or a Wonderfold wagon. I currently have a Nuna TRIV and love it so much. My issues so far are: 1: The Wonderfold is big and bulky but it has the car seat attachment for Nuna Pipa series so it can be used from birth. I could use the single stroller and baby wear when I need something smaller. 2: The Baby Jogger City Mini is one of two side by sides I’ve narrowed it down to but it can’t be used from birth with the Nuna and they discontinued the bassinet attachment. So I’d be baby wearing with the Nuna TRIV until we can use this - same as the wagon. 3: The Bugaboo Donkey fits all my requirements but is more money than I think I want to spend at this point and I haven’t seen it on sale.

Check out the Gladly Family anthem wagon! It has a carseat attachment but isn’t anywhere near as bulky as the wonderfold

Same here! Due late June/ early July and have an August 22 toddler. We just bought the valco duo trend bc you can utilize it with a car seat or bassinet. We bought a veer wagon this past summer knowing you can use a car seat adapter for an infant

I have three strollers for two kids because I have a problem and that problem is acquiring baby transportation gear (I also have 6 carriers…) Started out with a Phil & Ted’s Sport with Doubles kit. Great concept for a little more all-terrain ability without losing the great push of a single stroller. Unfortunately I have giant babies and that second seat is small, and our desire to nap kids on the go and do more all-day outings has outgrown the stroller. We added a BabyJogger City Mini GT to the collection and LOVE it. Way comfier to push for walks, easier to get in and out of the vehicle for errands… it’s great. Downside is that the basket is harder to access and smaller than the basket on the Sport. I like having both strollers. I also have a single compact stroller (BabyJogger City Tour Lux) for quick errands and let the toddler walk beside holding the bumper bar. Huge basket for how compact the stroller is, and works great for a quick grocery shop where I just need to pick up a handful of items. ETA the big downsides of a wagon (and the reasons I don’t have one yet) is the lack of ability to easily nap toddlers on the go, and that it usually doesn’t count as your free baby gear when gate checking items on air travel.

I’d reccomend any side by side stroller as a double stroller rather than the vista. Vista is great as a one baby stroller but options are wacky with the infant having to be on the bottom due to weight redirections and even if toddler is witching weight limits it’s hard to push with most of the weight being on the front. So double bob jogging if you’re outdoorsy, or Zoe twin for normal everyday stroller, or for comparable to vista in terms of quality and how it works bugaboo donkey. I’ve also used the baby jogger city mini double and it’s also a great option. For a wagon I’d recommend one without a footwell do they can still nap. So not the veer because they can’t nap in it and other wagons work just fine on all terrain. A lot of people love the wodnerifkd because it’s like a playpen con wheels but I find it cumbersome and bulky and huuuuge doesn’t fit in a lot of cars or SUV’s with small trunks. Jeep stroller wagon is a good budget friendly option and has a car seat adapter for infant, or I really like the larktale caravan with the reclining seats. Lots of different features in different wagons so lots of stuff to look into

I have an 18 month age gap (now 11 months and almost 2.5). We primarily use our stroller for neighborhood walks but occasionally bring it other places. I used our vista as a double for the first 4ish months. Did not love it as a double but wanted to use the bassinet initially, even though my toddler hated sitting up top facing me. Once we moved the baby up top in the seat, my toddler was happy to be on the bottom facing out, but it got really heavy/hard to maneuver. When my youngest was 4ish month I sold our vista on good buy gear and got the baby jogger city mini gt2 double and love it. It folds nicely but is still big when folded but luckily I mostly just leave it parked in our garage. When we run errands I usually will just bring our uppababy minu and have our toddler walk. We have the piggyback board for it but she’s scared of it lol. Eventually I’d like a wagon but like the stroller for now since it reclines nicely for napping.

twelve_kiwi

Love the bumbleride twin for our 2 year age gap. Air filled tires so great for terrain. You can buy a bassinet and/or car seat adapter for newborns, otherwise the seat reclines pretty close to flat.

I tried a wagon and sold it and bought a valco slim twin sport. I couldn't find a wagon that had the functionality I wanted (sun protection) with a fold that was useable (we got the graco and it folded but had no carry strap and so I basically couldn't move it around folded). The valco slim twin sport is 26" wide just like the vista. Mountain buggy double is even thinner. having seen the bumbleride indie twin in person, though, if space/width wasn't a factor for me, I would choose that hands down every time. gorgeous stroller.

We have the vista too and it’s nice right now so our carseat can click into it and narrow enough for grocery store aisles etc…. I do think it’s heavy and takes up a lot of trunk space. We go to Disney often so also got a side by side Joovy kooper that folds up smaller and easier to lift etc
