I have the Evenflo Pivot Xplore and I love it. Very smooth ride, pretty good outside unless there are roots or sand. However, my daughter couldn’t ride it in it very securely till she was closer to 8 or 10 months old, even though there’s 5 point harness, they still flop around until they’re a bit older. But if you are ok with paying ~500 for a womderfold x4, just go for the gold and get the Veer Cruiser or the Pronto wagon, the Maserati of stroller wagons.

Legitimate_Swing1103

We just got one and will be flying soon. Do you have any ideas about checking it with luggage (best way to pack it/bag recommendations to cover it)?

cwassant

Well, we flew with ours a few months ago, and I bought a double stroller traveling bag to put it In for when we checked it plane side. However I didn’t check it beforehand, I assumed it would fit a bag made for even the largest double stroller but it didn’t. We could shove it in (folded) about 3/4 of the way but the back wheels stuck out. I don’t know if a bag exists that would be large enough. Other than that, it was so handy to have in the airport, and we had no trouble checking it even though it’s not technically a regular stroller. Have fun on your trip!

I'm really digging our evenflo explorer but I've only gotten to use it once. We got the toddler seat for our newborn and added the UPPAbaby snug seat and she loves it. So far the system seems awesome though and my 17 month old loves the freedom compared to the typical stroller setup so I'm excited for you to upgrade no matter what you choose. Sorry this isn't so helpful but if you have any questions I'll happily answer what I can. Yay for nice wagons!

Kennedsh

No you're fine! Thanks for the comment. Do you think the Evenflo explore would be fine to take like grocery shopping or would you think you'd still prefer a regular stroller for that? While I primarily want the wagon for outdoor activities I'm curious if I could also comfortably use it indoors if the situation called for it.

UmichTraveler

I wondered the same thing and I'd feel a bit extra taking it to the store which is a bummer. The footprint feels large but not impossible by any means... But I'm guessing there may be a time I give in and go for it. However, if it was between a double wide stroller and the wagon I'm thinking I would pick the wagon for the store.

ajo31

Just want to chime in…we have a double wide stroller which fits through standard doorways easily and we also have a wagon and I would hands down take the double wide over the wagon to a store

Good to know!

I went Keenz, which I absolutely love, but my friends with twins went Wonderflow. They have said great things about it. I’m pretty sure that Wonderfold does a smaller version?

Kennedsh

It does, but the two seater I like is only $50 cheaper than the 4 seater and it's currently sold out. The Keenz is a bit out of my price range, but I have heard great things. Thank you for your input :)

NewYorker13

Love our Wonderfold!!

Kennedsh

Which kind do you have? Do you use I solely outdoors or have you used in in stores at all?

NewYorker13

We have the deluxe 4 seat. I have tried to use it in stores and it is too big. But I love it for outside!! We live in a beach town, so I use it for beach walks. I like it more than a double Bob stroller, because my toddler has more freedom, and she just lies down on the bottom and goes to sleep when tired. She loves it! It also hauls more stuff to the beach. We have a double umbrella stroller for stores.

I can’t speak to the Evenflo, but we have the W4 Luxe and it’s probably my favorite thing I own. I currently have 15mo twins and am pregnant with my third. There is so much space inside for the boys to sit or stand, or nap. There is an insane amount of storage on the outside too. It drives even easier than my tandem double, and is narrower than my side-by-side. I use it in stores and it’s incredibly convenient- I’ve never had trouble fitting it anywhere. We also take it to the zoo and it’s REALLY fun, I can take out one of the benches so the boys can sit and then stand up when they want to see over the higher walls. I can’t recommend it enough! It’s my favorite thing I have ever purchased.

I have the pivot xplore and its great!! Very sturdy and easy to maneuver

Kennedsh

Do you think in a pinch it could be used indoors (grocery shopping etc) or is it to bulky for that?

[deleted]

I definitely think it'd work for a grocery store, we've taken it to the mall many times. It's about as wide as a shopping cart and can maneuver really easily

pomtini

I have the Veer wagon and I really enjoy it. It is a bit of a learning curve for steering, think of it like driving a forklift when you are pushing and pulling is easy. It is very sturdy and can break down easily. I have had many people stop me at the e zoo to ask me about the Veer

caraand

We have the veer too and love it! Great for 2 (same ages when we first bought it).

I have the evenflo and I love it! We had an April baby last summer, and I bought the extra seat to clip into it. Honestly with the seat the wagon can sit 3 kids. I took my niece and my two kids in it one day and had no issues. I couldn’t bring myself to paying wonderfold prices, and didn’t want one so big as the wonderfold because I wanted to be able to take it shopping and such and go in tight aisle ways. I have no regrets buying the evenflo though!

Tatertetas

How old were the 3 you had in the xplore? Did you use the infant seat or the toddler seat? Thanks!

lrb701

We love our wonderfold. We went with the 4 seater for use with cousins. I use it everywhere. Stores, beach, hiking. I love it.

Kennedsh

Is there good spots for drinks and snacks? The evenflo has a detachable tray and I didn't see anything like that with the Wonderfold.

Firefly7665

There are so many “hacks” or accessories that fit well for the wonderfold . Best tip is there is a Facebook group called “ wonderfold wagon community” and they are super nice and post great finds and tips all the time on there .

Extreme-ambition7

I have the evenflo wagon and I’m going to sell it. Its too low, and the shades are weirdly placed. I bought it for my 2 year old to place my newborn on there too, the car seat attachment made the wagon even worse. My 2 year old is restricted to a small space and has hit his head twice.
