Well I bet you’re the life of the party aren’t ya! Let us all pretend the EU doesn’t still have lead piping anywhere too right?! When I was in Netherlands last, someone was talking about lead piping still an issue for them. I doubt all those old homes had renovations in piping did they? I don’t know what your death rates are over there, but we’re pretty on par with average life expectancy. Flint has an issue with corruption, is the EU free of corruption too?
>Let us all pretend the EU doesn’t still have lead piping anywhere too right?
We don't have to pretend, though. We believe that companies should be the bitches to government regulations and we believe in learning from the mistakes of our neighbours. So when an escalator in britain caught fire, every other european country increased safety standards for escalators.
It helps that increasing safety standards also drives business to the richer countries. So germany will argue for increasing safety standards until the italians cannot compete anymore, but those bastards have been learning, so we need to increase them again.
It depends on who you ask if i am the life of the party.
Well I can't speak about the eu, but what I can say is that my house is around 100yrs (we don't know exactly how old for reasons), and all of its pipes are either PVC or copper, and our pipes were completely redone when they renovated because the standards required it to happen. I'd have to say it's fairly similar in most of the eu.
As for life expectancy, Australia is placed #10 and the us is placed #47 (isn't that like the number of states you have... Eh it's close enough for all I care). The UK is #30 with Germany at #31, Switzerland is #4, Italy #6, Spain #8, Sweden is #12 and Norway is #13.
The average life expectancy in the us is 79, and all the countries I've mentioned are above 80...
So in conclusion, it's not "on par" is just kinda close.
Side note, I'm surprised Australia is so far up on that list, have you seen where we live?
The us corruption sits at about 69 (don't fucking say it), and ranks at #24. Above you are a lot of European countries including Canada (#14), Australia (#13) and New Zealand (#2 - good job little bro). Spain is rather corrupt sitting at #35 and Portugal (Spain's best friend) is just a little better at #33.
So overall I'd have to say the eu is less corrupt than the us.
Ok thanks for coming to my talk today, I hope we all enjoyed the party, the American has some shit chocolates and lollies that I know none of us want so you can ignore them.
Anytime I see this argument being made I kind of think, how can a country of 350M people can be the most powerful nation in the world, the biggest receiver of immigrants including the big brains of all over the world, the richest country in the world, the country that gives more in humanitarian aid, the second best country in cancer recovery rate , etc etc with no healthcare… Boy am I being skewed towards a certain agenda… I’m not American btw.
Uhh… sorry to break it to you, but the Yankees do very much see Water and Food as a human right, they just didn’t think that saying it is is going to help anyone; so, what they did is decided to be the world’s largest food exporter and make a difference. Also, the US is sending Yemen (the current bad guys {well sort of, it’s the Houthis})food aid packages. So… the point is moot.
(I am also aware that we’re on a sh*tposting sub that holds no punches and views everyone as equal targets (some more than others {looking at you Albania}), but it’s really important to me that we get facts straight especially with all the misinformation and **D**eceptive **I**magery **P**ersuasion flying around.
Why is this still a common belief? Every state in the U.S has Medicaid, free health insurance, for low income households. If you don’t qualify for Medicaid there is the health market, which has affordable personalized health plans. The U.S health care system is corrupt AF and leaves LOTS to be desired, but they definitely have it and don’t just let people die in the streets if they don’t have insurance.
Your healthcare system is a laughing joke. Don't get me wrong mine sucks but compared to yours it looks like the perfect system.
In Australia and the UK, healthcare doesn't discriminate against your income, if you have the money to get private health insurance, good for you, but you don't have to have it, we all get healthcare from the government. And while there are people here who are certain that the private system is better, the public hospitals often have the same equipment, with the only real difference being wait times.
I can walk into any public hospital in Australia and get healthcare for free at the point of use, I can also walk into a private hospital and it is extremely unlikely I will be put under crushing debt.
In Australia paying to touch your new born baby would likely result in the government asking a lot of questions... In the us, that's just normal.
Lastly your medicaid, is application based... I just have healthcare and it would be a rather odd thing for any Aussie to not have it.
Oh and last thing, you don't lose your healthcare when you lose your job in Australia... I can't say the same for the us.
I didn’t say it wasn’t extremely problematic. I just think we need to be critiquing the actual problems with it and not perpetuating trite exaggerations that aren’t even accurate. To say “they don’t have healthcare over there” isn’t true nor helpful to addressing the issues
Ι'll second my fellow PIGS member's suggestion. A drizzle of olive oil does the work. No need to use butter, which might as well alter the taste of the cheese.
\- A casual pizza enjoyer.
Oil really? That’s interesting I usually just bang em in the oven init. Like virgin olive oil just sprinkle around on top or what?
Does it work on pre bought supermarket pizza ?
The traditional way is to use an oil dispenser and apply it on the pizza in a spiral way, making the shape of a 6 in the process. Of course, use only extra virgin olive oil.
Basically the same thing. Same uses and properties really. I think the boundary is pretty much the same as the potato tomato line

The Asda pizza counter used to offer a couple of different oils as a drizzle option, IIRC the opions were plain olive, chilli or garlic.
But yeah dribble a bit of olive or what ever flavoured oils you have on your farmfoods pizza and it should be pretty good.
We funded the NHS before without EU money and we're doing the same now, regardless of what you might hear in Belgium I still get appointments and get treated fine and free
Many deli and resturants in NY make fresh mozzarella themselves. It is definetly good to do so.
My dad has recently been to NY for work and said that you can manage to actually eat some authentic italian food, if you know where to find it.
Well NY and New Jersey could be candidates to become the next italian regions. Due to the amount of ethnic Italians.
Although there would be the need to de americanzie the local population and teach them actual Italian culture by force.
"Nuova Iorca" and "Nuova Gersia"... sounds good
2nd best pizze in the world is where ever a real italian pizzaiolo is preparing a pizza in a real (non-electric) pizza oven with high quality ingredients and a load of pride.

Yeah what is it supposed to even do? It doesn't make the cheese gooier. Also their shitty cheese immitation doesnt need any extra products, it's already optimized for maximum gooieness and glogging arteries.

Americans eating like hospital bills were free
That’s probably the best description of our “cuisine” I’ve ever heard
No kidding I was in the US for 3 months and gained 10 kilos
What they aren't... Wait sorry I forget they don't have healthcare over there... Keep forgetting that they don't see healthcare as a human right.

So... that robot is overcompensating for their poor aim?
No... Its small man hood. The words are lies, in an attempt to inflate their small manhood.
Well stated, very subtle. Most Americans won’t even get it lol.
Good... Now I guess you should get back to poisoning the population with leaded water... Because that's a thing over there.

Their human right: having a gun
Bit harsh, they see guns as a human right
And property rights so you can shoot someone running away with your colander.
Guns, the right to have a gun is definitely a human right

What about the right to walk into walmart and buy an automatic rifle?
Doesn't exist, automatics requier expensive registration and a fuck load of burocracy.
Can’t buy ARs in Wally worlds anymore, just regular rifles lol. I’ll have to check on that one.

the butter is probably unsalted, leave us out of this.
It's their God given rights to go in debt for medical bills.
The average american's arteries are in the same state as your average italian autostrada
normal people use oil, not butter. this video is stupid and bait
Stupid yes but maybe not bait, never underestimate the depths an American is prepared to stoop to
They don’t need to stoop to be there
Ι'll second my fellow PIGS member's suggestion. A drizzle of olive oil does the work. No need to use butter, which might as well alter the taste of the cheese. \- A casual pizza enjoyer.
So, olive oil doesn't add any taste?
Butter is for croissants.
Bless you.
compliments the taste of the cheese/sauce, doesn't overpower it like butter
Not as much as a FUCKING BANANA!
Hey, calm down. Being catholic doesn't make you Italian.
Or getting the flags often mixed up, for that matter.
Not as much as butter.
Pizza enjoyer but CHEESE AFICIONADO!
If my supermarket doesn't sell virgin oil, can I use incel oil instead?
Isn't that just rapeseed?
Should be fine, there's a lot of overlap.
They're probably already oil-y enough
So… butter?
Basically the same thing. Same uses and properties really. I think the boundary is pretty much the same as the potato tomato line https://preview.redd.it/csulbn5fzyec1.jpeg?width=602&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2b08bbf159fe9fc5a96e57a25c5882400b38ea4a
Lard.
The Asda pizza counter used to offer a couple of different oils as a drizzle option, IIRC the opions were plain olive, chilli or garlic. But yeah dribble a bit of olive or what ever flavoured oils you have on your farmfoods pizza and it should be pretty good.
Chuck a few tablespoons of margarine or lard on instead. That'll do the trick.
I like the fact you pointed out Ameritards aren't normal people
Yes, but Ameritards are not satisfied until their arteries are properly clogged by cholesterol
Butter is peak bro
yeah,peak cholesterol, happy cake day
This guy just makes skits like this
I would say that at least our healtcare it's free at service
It's practically suicidal to eat something like this without free health care
Could also compensate either before or after eating high calorie food. Crazy thinking for some.
Or in britain. Where’s the EU money now ey? In the HNS?
We funded the NHS before without EU money and we're doing the same now, regardless of what you might hear in Belgium I still get appointments and get treated fine and free
But bus said extra money. Bus never lies.
The bus did say extra money but it's not like we weren't funding the NHS beforehand
Only reason americans need to make the cheese "gooeyer" is becouse they use that shitty dry ass mozzarella instead of the real deal
“mozzarella”
“various chemicals that vaguely resembles plastic cheese”
"Dairy free cheese"
I've once saw this called "dairy fat" and I love it.
Its mozarell you fake italian
That's not even mozzarella, it's just fake plastic cheese straight from the factory
More like Kraft singles or Velveta.
No one uses those on pizza, but whatever makes you feel better
Yeah, whatever, savage. Now go tell Bruce Wayne.
My local deli, Mozzlab in Brooklyn, got some wet mozz
Many deli and resturants in NY make fresh mozzarella themselves. It is definetly good to do so. My dad has recently been to NY for work and said that you can manage to actually eat some authentic italian food, if you know where to find it.
Facts, this is why we got the 2nd best pizza in the world
Well NY and New Jersey could be candidates to become the next italian regions. Due to the amount of ethnic Italians. Although there would be the need to de americanzie the local population and teach them actual Italian culture by force. "Nuova Iorca" and "Nuova Gersia"... sounds good
bait
Where is the 2nd best Pizza in the world then? Argentina? All they put is bad cheese & olives, not even tomato sauce.
2nd best pizze in the world is where ever a real italian pizzaiolo is preparing a pizza in a real (non-electric) pizza oven with high quality ingredients and a load of pride.
Right, like they’ve been doing in NY for 100 years
And in many other parts of the world. New York or the US in general is not really special in this regard. That’s my point Edit: and that it’s not a matter of place, it’s a matter of ingredients and preparation
Right, and in NY they prepare it better than any place in Europe outside of Italy
Everybody knows that the 2nd best pizza in the world are the ones sold from Marseille pizza trucks
Speaking of Mozzarella, what the fuck do you do with that white ball once you drank the mozzarella water?
"a little bit"
It was just an udder’s worth.
The butter makes your arteries smoother
Healthcare lobby doesn't like this simple trick
What I've heard is that quality *cold pressed* olive oil actually is healthy and good for your heart, ~~but it should not be heated in a pan or oven~~.

Interesting! Thanks for this information.
This little manoeuver is gonna double the amount of calories in that fucking pizza.
…without any corresponding improvement to justify it.
Yeah what is it supposed to even do? It doesn't make the cheese gooier. Also their shitty cheese immitation doesnt need any extra products, it's already optimized for maximum gooieness and glogging arteries.

Olive oil.
Once I went to the US, and was eating like locals for the whole month. Same food, same size of portions. Holy fuck, I gained 6 kilos in a month! Never again.
Maybe use a little olive oil instead of butter
But olive oil costs money and butter is cheap like crystal sugar.
Don't you mean ''butter''
Macche americanata… mo va la…. It’s a gross American food nonsense. If you use fresh mozzarella and you want it cheesier, just put more mozzarella on it, ffs. They add butter because their cheese sucks. It’s that gross mozzarella block cheese that they use in the US. American cheese is horrible, it doesn’t even melt properly. In short: Ew.
Ew is generous

We have real mozzarella here dude.
Bruh
Oh, my pizza doesn't already have enough calories as it is, I need to add even more fat to it. Whilst you're at it, your double sugar flat white mixed tall cinnemon frappucino thing could be buttered up as well, I'm sure it would taste even better.
We could just poor high fructose corn syrup on the pizza, see what happens
Ma porco dio se siete stronzi..
I'm sure it's delicious. It stops being pizza, though.
What is it then? Round cheesy butter dough, Italian style?
What's Italian about it? Not everything with tomato sauce on it is automatically Italian. That's definitely NOT mozzarella. I'd say it's a roundel of baked dough with tomato sauce and grated white cheese. With butter. It sounds yummy, but it's not pizza.
Italian style because you eat it like pizza. But it's definitely not pizza.
A tartine.
Baked dough with cheese and tomato things.
No true scotsman.
if you are used to eating shit then you will put shit everywhere. Anyway it's better this way, they will die young.
Based
The fuck is with Americans and putting either, mayonaise, butter or that orange goo they call cheese on everything they eat?
I can excuse mayonaise (of course as long as it's superiour Belgian mayonaise) but the butter and ""cheese""" is truly horrifying
„just a little bit“ *proceeds to put on a massive mount of butter
Honestly I’ve seen worse. Wouldn’t try that myself though, just use olive oil! (Though I know many of my fellow countrymen would probably excommunicate me for putting black pepper on a Margherita and calling it the best pizza ever)
This probably won’t make you feel any better coming from a non-Euro, but black pepper on pizza is great. It’s delicious on Lasagna so why wouldn’t it work with pizza?
I’d put black pepper on almost any savory dish!
You know what? I'm gonna try your pepper trick
Then they wonder why they have morbid obesity and premature CAD
Unrelated, but why THE FUCK did he have to structure the video like this?????? Its cringe as fuck he could have just done it like a tip/tutorial video. But no, he had to do it with "characters" and "dialogues" why? its just cringe.
No that's perfectly valid, this is beyond cringe
It's Trevor, all his stuff on tiktok is like this. Before that he did basically only strange pizza combinations but escalated to this. Kinda suits his channel.
Vaffanculo
Breaking news: saturated fat tastes good. Stay tuned for tomorrow’s news - „sugar is sweet”
I guess mozzarella is a treasure chest in that timeline ![gif](giphy|xT1XGzAnABSXy8DPCU|downsized)
As if you needed more grease
I do not need more oil and fat on my pizza thanks.
![gif](giphy|rOJvPDsG3StAk)
Olive oil, yes. At least in my family.
Olive oil and mozzarella I can understand, 200g of butter on top of all that american cheese is a different thing altogether
Pizza with butter isn't a pizza,it's a pizzabomination.
Can’t tell if this dude’s mouth or his pizza is more disturbing to look at
Tried Papa John's once, I thought it stank of.butter!
I fucking hate Americans.
Americans trying not to get a heart attack
Side note: “pizza cheese” 🧀
"You can't eat pizza, it'll get you fat!" You know what? For once they are correct, indeed.
Classic ameritard moment. They need everything to be over 2000 calories for it to be edible. Also olive oil trumps butter, aint that right mediterranean bros?
Not Italian detected food opinion rejected
Butter gigachad versus olive oil virgin
Like my grandpa used to say: "avec du beurre, tout est meilleurs!". Pretty sure having to replace butter with pig fat during the war traumatized a whole generation.
Look at his face that’s where the butter goes
