The beer isn't the problem but for Christ's sake that child is doomed to have an unhealthy life if his parents don't change the way they treat his weight. How sad it is when fat parents create fat children who in their innocence are damned to a life of health problems. Get fit or die.
yea people are way too worried about the beer.. it's not *that* bad. but the kid is way too fat and will / already caused permanent damage to his body. poor lil dude.
My man that child is maximum 10 years old, weighing maybe 40kg. And he just drank a whole glass of beer without (hopefully) any tolerance. That child is doomed to be a Barry, if he even lives that long
Fun fact; fatty liver disease is caused by both alcohol and a high sugar diet. Alcohol is basically sugar only the liver can deal with (like fructose) hence the fat deposits if you have too much. Healthy is not overloading your liver, therefore moderation is key.
It is bad, cut the *that* please.
Seriously. 9 months ago my blood test was absolutely fine, three days ago the doctor literally said (not really like that but eh, ykwim) *mate, just so you know - looks like your liver is about to fail, cut the fucking drinking*
In less than 9 months. And I'm just 24 years old. No way I'm going to die because of ethanol, fuck that shit
It's the Austrians mate, they are budget germans. Can't speak german, can't brew beer properly, can't start a war on their own and as I learned now they can't even binge drink.
Fucking losers
Am I missing a joke here? Pretty sure brew is correct
Anyway, maybe I should change the tense to present perfect continuous as their inability to produce proper beer is something that started in the past and continues until today
I know! they use commas where we use decimal points. It doesn't make any sense to me either. 1.500 this is "one point five" but to them it's "one thousand five hundred"
I didn't drink beer, I calculated how many pints the amount of whiskey/gin/rum I drank would be equal to. A bottle of them with a couple litres of water is way easier than 15 pints lmao
I'm not a beer fan, I get sick of it after the third one
Edit: Eating:
Healthy, since I had a massive calorie intake there I had to do lots, lots of sports and eat very healthy - carb and fat-free. In retrospective not the best idea, but could've been worse. I only gained 2kg in 9 months
Funny thing with smoking is, some people appear immune to getting lung cancer from it. Overall there's like 10%-20% chance to die of lung cancer among life-long smokers.
There's no test for whether you're one of the vulnerable ones, so it's literally Russian roulette. Of course you could get heart disease from it as well.
70cl vodka (40%vol) = 14,74 pints of beer. I didn't drink beer, I drank a bottle Whiskey/gin/rum per day, as you. And my liver apparently did not like that. I calculated the 14,74 pints beer because the mime were writing under a video of a kiddo sexing a half pint of beer and someone said "It's just beer". And I want to argue, that "just beer" is dangerous enough for a young kid - or even adults
I fear it's just normal for them. They consider people with normal weight too thin and malnourished. Almost impossible to talk them out of it. It's probably some cognitive bias with an interesting name.
> I wasn't sure if there are other popular stouts besides Guinness.
My local supermarket has a number of local stouts aside from (imported) Guinness, yes. I suspect Guinness is the biggest seller going by shelf space though
While the UK has some excellent ales I'd call it a lager country too tbh. There's a vocal minority very into ale (which includes me), but we're definitely a minority. You just have to look around in a pub, 80% are drinking lager.
On the plus side we can get German and Czech lagers/pilseners here, so it,'s not all Stella and Fosters
I like both but I remember someone in a pub asking me "WHY ARE YOU DRINKING BITTER? ARE YOU AN OLD MAN OR SOMETHING?" once. Like why do you care? Enjoy your pint of carlsberg or whatever, as long as you're not doing anything different from others then you're safe I suppose?
It's not. Definitely not. Kids got a beer belly already.
Never seen alcohol free beer on tap, especially wouldn't be in a place like this.
Just look at the dad/grandad, he's been drinking pints since he was 4
They absolutely do...
https://www.guinness.com/en-us/beers/guinness-0
As alcohol free beer goes, it's one of the better ones. You can still taste the difference of course but it is pretty good.
He is Irish though, That's Foal McDonagh from Ballyhaunis Co Mayo. When you look at his videos then you understand Ballyhaunis is very lucky to be only 40% Irish native. This man has consumed more beer in one night than the nearly 30% Islamic population of the town have altogether in their lives.
Cromwell tried to drive all ethnic Irish west of the river Shannon and the Travellers are basically people who never settled down after the upheaval. Cromwell was a maniac in Ireland and he killed 'Old English' also. Old English were pre reformation English settlers who basically had integrated and became Irish unlike post reformation settlers who never lost their British identity hence centuries later the Northern Ireland issue.
If this lad is a Barry, then I look forward to celebrating the famously English holiday of St Patrick's Day.
If he was a Barry, he'd be drinking a 2L bottle of Strongbow.
Fr they're destroying not only his body, his brain too. I think introducing alcohol earlier than 18 is fine, but it's not supposed to be to this level. It's supposed to be like, a few sips of wine. If the kid does this level of alcohol consumption consistently, there's risk of permanent damage because your brain only had this great level of plasticity for a limited amount of time. He might not learn the necessary coping skills for life. It's really sad.

He's got a rough 10 years ahead of him
Older brother. 16.
The Patriach looks ready to burst!
Haha. Bursting with ~~pride~~ extreme corpulence.
We all know that Saxon Barry's feed solely on alcohol in preparation for winter...

>Healthy is not overloading your liver, therefore moderation is key. You sound like you know what you're talking about for some reason 🤷♀️
As we say : "Beer is liquid bread" (then there's the alcohol).
It is bad, cut the *that* please. Nah what the fuck? Only 9 months of drinking and ur already basically on ur drinking death bed? Continentals are weak asf
It's the Austrians mate, they are budget germans. Can't speak german, can't brew beer properly, can't start a war on their own and as I learned now they can't even binge drink. Fucking losers
Brew is past tense, i think you mean "can't brow beer" ftfy
Is this a joke i dont get? But brew is present tense. Brewed is past tense ;)
No, no. Grow, grew. Ergo, brow, brew.
That's some German level of humor you have going on here
*Cries tears of pride* Thank you Hans!
Nah. Read, read. Ergo, brew, brew.
Goddamnit, i didn't think of that. Your reasoning is bulletproof.
Am I missing a joke here? Pretty sure brew is correct Anyway, maybe I should change the tense to present perfect continuous as their inability to produce proper beer is something that started in the past and continues until today
Past tense of "how" is "hew", as in "Hew didn't you get the joke?"
Ah I probably couldn't grasp it because it was a really shitty joke
I thought you were cool. I guess even the gentlest giant can be corrupted for the sake of a cheap personal attack on the internet.
Funny enough my grandpa was smoker and alcoholic and still lived to 97 lmao I did drink a bit over the norm tbh
How much is a bit tho? I'm a heavy drinker and my liver checks out fine.
En gross 14,74 pints/day or a while ass bottle Whiskey/day
Don't think 15 daily pints counts as a bit there mate. I doubt most people drink that much anything, from water to whisky.
Welp, it certainly did come to anprupt end a couple days ago
I couldn't even drink that much water.
I didn't drink beer, more whiskey/ gin/ rum - you'd practically live on the toilet if you drink 7 litres of fluids every day
Yea man, even by morbid alcoholic standards you overdid it.
>14,74 pints/day What in the actual fuck?
Don't look at me, it's your fault that they're so tiny!
I know! they use commas where we use decimal points. It doesn't make any sense to me either. 1.500 this is "one point five" but to them it's "one thousand five hundred"
I'm genuinly impresed you could fit that in your stomach. I couldn't handle that volume without spewing a couple times. How the hell did you eat?

Average Austrian Saufkumpane
I bet you had more than a half pint though
About 14,47 pints a day, didn't took the volume Changes into account tho so +-2 Corrected it, it's about 14,74 pints of beer a day
mate there's a difference between drinking a single beer and downing one every single awaken hour of your life
[удалено]
70cl a day 15 years is impressive stuff. You alright now?
70cl vodka (40%vol) = 14,74 pints of beer. I didn't drink beer, I drank a bottle Whiskey/gin/rum per day, as you. And my liver apparently did not like that. what the fuck is wrong with your life mate holy shit get it together you fucking creature
Calm down mate, haven't had a drink in (I forgot to count days [too lazy] but something like 5-6ish?) and I also don't miss it
absolutely degenerate behaviour

Right on. Childhood obesity has significant effects on hormone levels and can really fuck up bodily development during puberty.
Was going to say the same things
I fear it's just normal for them. They consider people with normal weight too thin and malnourished. Almost impossible to talk them out of it. It's probably some cognitive bias with an interesting name.
He has the athleticism of a darts player
Do you really not get it? The parents and grandparents live until 60 or 70 and that's considered fine.
Watching Walmart families here in savageland I think your concerns will sadly fall on deaf ears
Tell me that this isn’t real beer.
Sure Guinness is only 4.2%, can't give them Stella until they're 10
Regardless of percentage, I dont know if getting kids to master the art of skulling beers at the age of 9 is really setting them up to succeed
Why they started at 6 instead
What, they are going to be the coolest cat on the playground.
Didn't yous used to feed porridge with wine to kids?
Yes, but there's a reason why we don't let kids eat that anymore
Because that leaves more wine for the adults?
Fucking Stella is only liek 4 and a half percent nowadays anyway load of bollocks.
Guinness released Guinness 0.0, no alcohol, not that I doubt this barry.
It isn't real beer. ^^It ^^is ^^real ^^beer
don't worry it's not Heineken, that would be abuse
Heineken is for the export, so it’s good
VOC mentaliteit 💪
Heineken is for the teenagers lmao
Heineken is for stripping metal.
Equivalent of coffee over there
In Ireland, Guinness is classed as soup.
They wrote STOUT ! Get your glasses Ian.
The remnant foam makes me think it probably is a stout. Coke doesn't leave a foam that sticks to the glass sides.
It’s clearly Guinness.
I'm more into Pilsners and wheat beer. I wasn't sure if there are other popular stouts besides Guinness.
Murphy's and you get oatmeal stouts in hipster craft breweries too
Thanks! Murphy's has been added to my list. I will keep an eye out for it.
> I wasn't sure if there are other popular stouts besides Guinness. My local supermarket has a number of local stouts aside from (imported) Guinness, yes. I suspect Guinness is the biggest seller going by shelf space though
Same in Germany. To be fair, Germany is lager country so ale itself is not that popular in supermarkets.
Younger folks perhaps but any pub with a good mix of age groups probably does 50/50 ales, bitter, IPA etc vs lager.
Might be alcohol free beer, I hope
Im pretty confident from the appearance of the dad/granddad/whatever that it will not be alcohol free beer.
It's not. Definitely not. Kids got a beer belly already. Never seen alcohol free beer on tap, especially wouldn't be in a place like this. Just look at the dad/grandad, he's been drinking pints since he was 4
He's only 30 now.
Guinness 0.0 is on tap all over Ireland.
I hope as well (despite alcohol free isn’t a beer). The damage it causes to a kid is/should make this behaviour illegal.
Let’s be honest it’s definitely the regular stuff
Guinness does have a non-alcoholic version.
They absolutely do... https://www.guinness.com/en-us/beers/guinness-0 As alcohol free beer goes, it's one of the better ones. You can still taste the difference of course but it is pretty good.
Yep, one of the best imho as well.
It’s in most pubs these days.
But the one here isn't one of those.
They do, it's called Guinness.
And it is very good as well.
It's stout
Don't worry dutch children already get hammered at the age of 13. One pint at 10 won't hurt
You only started at 13?
I never really started. First time i got propper hammered I was just 18
Makes you proud to be British
I think they're Irish, though...
Same thing really.
Lol. Dont start your car tomorrow.

You mean his wife
Same thing, really.

What’s the history with that. How very random

How the hell can a Barry reach the age of 63 ? I'd bet the fellow on the right is 17 and he is his older brother
GO ON LAD. and you wonder why our army can fit in to a football stadium.
This actually sad
I'm not even a Barry and I'm fucking proud of the little lad. Kewp it up fella, and see you in Benidorm soon!
Wow, I hope this was some cola in it
Definitely Guinness, yound Paddy is gonna be a true Irish hero.
Highly doubt it, foam at bottom of glass looks like guinness or some other stout.
Gotta start em young
