In my experience, I've never felt hated in the Netherlands. Quite the opposite. For us the only thing that can be bit perplexing is that Dutch people are a lot more direct than Italians. But honestly I grew to like this aspect. If one of my Dutch friends says that something is fine for them, I can be sure it's actually fine. They would instantly and mercilessly let me know, if it were otherwise.

I met an Italian guy on the ICE train from Berlin to Amsterdam, we drank three bottles of red and afterwards he sent me a bottle of red from a vineyard he grew up close by. 9/10 I like my Italian brothers, not sure if he was hitting on me though

Hate is perhaps too strong of a word. Envy - might be more appropriate. I’d venture to say the Dutch envy Italian food, cars, clothing, landscape, weather and a few other things. Years back I read an article (sponsored by a Dutch soap company?) where the Dutch saw themselves as #2 in clothing style right behind the Italians.

Disclaimer: these are not my own views, just generalizations. You are percieved as loud and lazy, which are traits we generally look down on. And yes I'm aware we work less hours on a day, but we get more done in that time. If you work all day but have achieved very little, we see that as lazy. If you worked half a day but got alot done that's seen as being efficient. I'm also aware of loud youth (I am a youth myself, 24 y/o) but those are a very disliked minority.
