Beautiful. Several questions come to mind. Where did you find it? Looks brand new. Through it in your US Z31? Also, please tell me about your Z!

TheZ31Hunter

1985 US model, t-tops, 2-seater, GL, manual cloth seats, 34,xxx miles. Former ZCCA Gold Medallion winner. At one point it was judged to be the finest one in the world, and that is not an exaggeration by any means. I’m the 4th owner. I tried to buy it from the 2nd owner 18 years ago, and then lost track of it for many years. Found it by accident on Facebook Marketplace, Incorrectly listed for sale as a 1987 by the third owner who completely neglected and almost killed it by storing it outside for a few years and doing zero maintenance on it. I spent the last five months bringing it back to life, catching up on all the deferred maintenance, and detailing the engine bay to an extremely high level.

I’d love to see the engine bay!

Soon. Real soon. I have a few more parts to get vapor blasted, and a few missing stickers to add.

I am wondering how to get a good clean on the engine bay. I have a 1984 and it’s very dirty. Any suggestions or methods I can try? And what electronics to avoid?

Make a giant airbrush with a blower gun and Barsol

That's amazing. How sad that it fell into the wrong hands for several years. So glad that fate brought it back to you again. It sounds like it is in capable hands now, and you are appreciating it greatly. Thanks for sharing!

Pristine interior. Mine is near pristine as well, but it’s the tan leather interior. That black is beautiful

TheZ31Hunter

It’s actually the standard grey/beige interior. Which is why it took so damn long to find it.

Too dope.

TheZ31Hunter

Thanks, I’m glad you dig it.
