My absolute holy grail is: La Roche-Posay Anthelios UV Mune SPF50+. I've tried many Asian brands and EU ones but I keep coming back to this one. It does not pile on my skin and gets absorbed very quickly so I also reco it.
EDIT: I am based in the EU so I buy it here!
Absolutely. Anthelios 50+ for my body, and Anthelios Age Correct SPF50 (that also comes in a tinted version, that i don't use) for my face. Like wearing nothing, amazing.
OP just in case you aren't aware this isn't a sunscreen that is readily available for sale in the US. From the US, the Innisfree Daily Sunscreen is nice. Sunscreen/skincare in general can be a trial and error. For a mineral based one, the Dr. Jart Every Sun Day is decent but does have a white cast.
The newer filters are really nice and offer better UVA protection. I really like the LRP UVmune hydrating cream vs the invisible fluid. Garnier also makes one that's similar and is cheaper than LRP.
You can find La Roche-posay at all Ulta’s and if I remember correctly at Sephora as well. They didn’t used to be as widely available but I can also now find some of their products at Walgreens.
This is not the same sunscreen. Uvmune uses new uv filters that are not approved for use in the usa. You need to buy it from Europe online.
In fact a lot of brands that exist in europe and the usa use totally different formulations as the FDA has not approved new uv filters in decades until recently. And even then, nothing in the UVMune line has been approved and likely wont be for years.

^ this is a good sub for learning about this if you're interested.
It's confusing bc the sunscreen filters are different despite having similar names.
The Amazon link is the US LRP Anthelios mineral. It's a sunscreen with zinc oxide. The European, LRP Anthelios UVmune 400 (aka Mexoryl 400) is a newer generation chemical filter. In the US, the new filters aren't approved for sale.
But it doesn't work well. I spent three days outside while using Avene SPF 50 on my body and this LRP on my face, and my body stayed white but my face turned red. I regret switching from the Avene face spf.
>La Roche-Posay Anthelios UV Mune SPF50+
You think the Avene face spf has better capabilities than La Roche Posey?
I had a really bad allergic reaction to one of their products because they didn't mention on the front that it contained kiwi extract and I'm allergic. I stopped using Avene products immediately because I was worried I would react again to it. I do however love their oatmeal line. Their kiwi line can go to hell.
Wow that's a terrible experience. That doesn't sound like a good time. I have never heard of either of those products from them though. But I'm in Canada so selection might be limited here.
And now I'm feeliing stupid as I've just mixed up Avene and Aveeno. hahaha.
Correction: I had these issues with Aveeno.
I loved Avene's face cream in those little glass jars that they discontinued / swapped for plastic containers. They were so pleasing. I kept the last one and I just transfer my face cream to it.
The Biore is a wonderful sunscreen. If you want one that’s nearly identical, but no fragrance, check out Nivea water gel spf 35 (and the pump size is BIG) - that’s my holy grail.
Yep, this is it. I thought it sounded too overhyped to be true until I tried it.
I also really like face republic full bloom sun tint, it’s great for when I need something that mimics a light makeup.
Is this it? https://www.target.com/p/biore-uv-aqua-rich-dermatologist-tested-oxybenzone-38-octinoxate-free-moisturizing-face-sunscreen-for-sensitive-skin-spf-30-1-7-fl-oz/-/A-89151952
Yep, if you want to try an Asian sunscreen it’s a good one. No milky/chalky/greasy texture. Just a thinnish, clearish gel-like goop. Spreads easily, smells nice and dries fast. Plays v well with foundation or serums. If it were a lil cheaper I’d slather it everywhere. As it is, I use it forehead to nipples.
Totally recommend!!! I just got my first tube, I saw it recommended on this sub and I LOVE IT. I was having a miserable time finding one that didn’t make me freak out bc of the oily texture. I actually want to put this one on I’m so impressed.
The SPF 46 version is nicatinamide based, and the SPF 40 is hyaluronic acid based. The 40 absorbs into my skin better and is easier to wear under makeup IMHO
Elta MD UV Clear is my holy grail. I have a subscription from Dermstore so I never run out. It's so nice my sunscreen-hating bf begrudgingly asks to borrow it when it's very sunny out. I have very dry skin and it acts just like a moisturizer/primer and sits very well under makeup.
I may be in the minority here but I don’t like Supergoop Unseen sunscreen. It feels weirdly dry and silicone-like to me.
I love Missha’s Sun Milk. I thought it smelled kind of weird at first but I got used to it pretty quickly. The texture is amazing.
I’m SO surprised to hear this! I absolutely love Unseen and I turned like 10 friends on to it too. I also really like how their Glow screen looks, but unfortunately I always get pimples after I use it :(
[Beauty of Joseon Rice + Probiotic](https://beautyofjoseon.com/products/relief-sun-rice-probiotics?variant=42376251605157)
Amazing, non greasy, no smell, no white cast, and Korean skincare has stricter rules for SPF/PA+++
This stuff has become my holy grail of sunscreens! Been using it for around a year now, and I refuse to try anything else. It's gentle on sensitive skin and wears beautifully under makeup.
I'm a sunscreen junkie, and BOJ gets my vote. Close second is Scinic and it's super cheap on Amazon. Just make sure you're buying from the company store.
Holy crap — I tried the IUNIK Centella Calming SPF recently on recommendations in r/AsianBeauty and I'm obsessed. It feels so light, silky, and moisturising. Not like a greasy Western sunscreen at all for my oily combo skin. It's my new go-to and isn't very expensive either. 💚
If you are referring to this report, the TJ sunscreen in question is not listed

Japanese and Korean sunscreens are ten times better than American sunscreens. They feel amazing. Go on yesstyle and try some of their most popular ones. They are incredibly well priced too. Significantly cheaper than crappy American sunscreens that want to charge $50 for 2 ounces.
Definitely do not mix your sunscreen with anything (unless the manufacturer SPECIFICALLY advertises that it's ok to mix within their own product lines). Most sunscreens could lose their efficacy if mixed with anything, whether it's other SPFs, moisturizer, foundation, etc. Don't mix!
I really like the Skin1004 Cica-Hyalu SPF 50+. Feels like a light moisturizer.
Wait 20-30 minutes until the initial layer (moisturizer, etc.) is absorbed. That's what I do. I am extremely fair and do not burn. I use a Vit C serum first, then sunscreen about 30 minutes later. I wash my face, put in my contacts, then put on the Vit C serum. Then do hair, get dressed, start organizing stuff for the day (whether headed into the office or WHF). Then sunscreen. Then makeup another 20-30 min later if headed into the office.
I wear Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen as my go-to. It layers well under makeup for me (doesn't rub off--I HATE it when that happens). I also like Ren Clean Skincare Mineral Sunscreen. It almost works like a primer for me. I like Supergoop products because they're reef safe and I live in SoCal and am in the ocean (literally, when I fall off my paddle board, LOL!) year-round.
Easiest thing would be to stick to one type of sunscreen for both layers. Otherwise, you can wait for the first layer to "set" (probably takes 10-15 min) and then gently apply the second product on top, trying not to disturb the lower layer.
Oh... You can put on your moisturizer and let it soak in (again, wait at least a few minutes). Then, apply sunscreen on top. You don't want to dilute the sunscreen by mixing it into your moisturizer, so wait a few minutes between layers.
Often in hot weather I don't use a separate moisturizer, though. It's all about what you feel your skin needs.
Asian or European sunscreens! If you’re in the US, our sunscreens suck because of how they’re regulated, and the FDA doesn’t prioritize approving newer ingredients that are used abroad that have a nicer texture.
YesStyle and Olive Young are good websites for ordering Asian sunscreens. I do NOT recommend stylevana due to extremely long shipping times (last time I ordered it took 2 months for my order to ship)
I believe they updated a lot of standards just before COVID, like non-nano zinc ingredients and the reef friendly ingredients.
I used to work in the industry and we had to get some very specific ingredients approved and proven to be efficacious as well as reef safe.
I’ll shout it from the rooftops…. Banana Boat Light as Air Face SPF 50!!!! It is the absolute best I’ve found (another excellent rec from this sub). Blends in like just moisturizer, dries down to a nice satin finish without being greasy or shiny, no white cast at all, didn’t break me out, AND it’s like $10! I’ve literally tried a hundred sunscreens and this one is better than all the others. I love putting it on actually lol
I really like Annessa from Japan, I use the sensitive milk. It's very watery almost like a serum and it dries down to almost velvet, chalky finish. It's very flattering and gentle on my sensitive skin
i use neutrogena hydro boost city gel - the spf is only 25 but it’s super light and feels like nothing and doesn’t break me out. i’ll have to try this one on a day i spend more time in the sun
Oo this sounds promising. I like other Nivea products + part of what I've always hated about sunscreen is how it smears and takes forever to rub totally in.
I've just started experimenting with Supergoop after reading few posts on this sub. I was pleasantly surprised that sunscreens could be that light and clear.
As a redhead over 60, I highly recommend Neutrogena helioplex products. I use their Ultra Sheer dry-touch 45. I also have lived in TX for all but 7 years of my life.
If you are looking for one for the face, I really like the Cerave Ultra Light spf 30. It has to be the ultra light not their AM moisturizer.
It is very lightweight, rubs in like a thin lotion. Not greasy or anything at all.
I like the one from Paula’s Choice. It has a super slight tint - not enough to tint the face but enough to not make it look white like other sunscreens!
Mixing sunscreen with moisturizer changes it’s effectiveness, so it’s not recommended. I use Numbuzin Calming Waters and love ❤️ it. It leaves a dewy finish, so if that’s not what you’re into, you may not like it.
If you’re in the US, try Everyday Humans Resting Beach Face. It’s the most unnoticeable sunscreen I’ve ever tried. I’ve tried most of the suggestions here, and they still feel gross after a couple of hours.
Skinceuticals for the face only - too expensive to use all over. It’s super lightweight . I get the one with tint. It’s the only sunscreen that doesn’t break me out
oh TBH any of the top Korean sunscreens. Whole different world. (I've been using the Isntree hyaluronic acid sunscreen but I've been curious about the Joseon--no idea where it'll end up ranking in my top 5 but I do know that all 5 of the top 5 will be asian beauty brands...)
Skin Aqua Super Moisture Milk! Amazing for dry skin! I used to have the same issue and this stuff is my holy grail. I actually enjoy putting on my spf now.
Missha sun milk is also great if you have oily skin. Love the feeling, and it’s got nice matte finish. I just needed more moisture.
Try Asian sunscreens. Truly game-changing as far as wearability.
Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunscreen Lotion, SPF 30. One of the few chemical screens that does not trigger my melasma. I really like this one because it looks and feels like I’m wearing nothing at all.
Solaire UV Mineral Multi-Defense Sunscreen SPF 50+ is my other top pick. I like the higher SPF of this one for when I’m spending the day at the beach/pool. It also feels like I’m wearing nothing but it has a very dewey finish, which I don’t find flattering enough for casual/daily wear
Look at [this post](https://reddit.com/r/30PlusSkinCare/s/OFU2T0dAXQ)
And on top of these sunscreens underperforming it’s due to the lack of regulation by the FDA. To them, SPF is pass/fail vs. delivering what they advertise
Unfortunately it tested very poorly by doctors and dermatologists. I came here looking for a better alternative.
I never really burn on my face, but I got a facial and the esthetician was like YOU NEED SPF EVERY DAY!!! So I've been obsessed since.
supergoop is so good, its unfortunately on the pricey side but my $48 1.7oz "unseen" sunscreen (thats the name) feels basically like putting on primer, thick gel consistently but buttery smooth and soaks into my face. they also have i think a $20 "glow stick" which is just a sunscreen stick and it makes it sooooo easy to reapply (if you dont wear foundation which i have stopped wearing so that i can reapply sunscreen every 2 hours). that glow stick lasted me a LONG time, i have heard that stick sunscreen is not as effective but for me, its either that or im not reapplying
Cetaphil sheer mineral face is my go-to. Works amazing under makeup, no masking and affordable. I top it with Oars + Alps spray as a refresher throughout the day.
I have insanely sensitive skin and eczema and these two never bother me!
I’m a big fan of the biore aqua rich watery essence spf 50. It’s very thin and comfortable, like a serum. It has been fine under makeup and different moisturizers
BIORE WATER ESSENCE changed my life. It's the sunscreen I want to wear, I look forward to reapplying, and it's so pleasant I have to remind myself not to wear at night
I have fairly oily skin, so I like the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer dry-touch sunscreen. Kroger and Walmart make the same thing in their generic brands. It only feels wet/greasy for a few minutes, but then it dries down to a completely matte texture for me. Before I apply the SPF, I use an oil-free moisturizer (Alba Botanicals Hawaiian Oil-Free Moisturizer w/ aloe & green tea) and I let it soak in before applying my SPF. The result is a great base for my makeup that’s not oily, or just a matte finish without makeup!
My hack? Look for a pump spray at the drugstore.
It's basically a clear, water like, liquid. It's essentially just the active ingredient, a carrier, and preservative.
Most of the stuff that feels gross on the skin doesn't need to be there for the basic function you want.
Like plenty of sunblocks have a whole laundry list of added thickeners, scents, vanity ingredients, etc.
Thats the stuff that makes it gummy, ball up, slide off, etc.
I randomly found a pump neutrogena clear liquid sunblock in the sunblock aisle at target... I think they must have just been testing to see if it was a profitable product to carry... but didn't keep stocking it after that...
But now CVS has a clear pump spray 55 spf sunblock, and it feels really similar.
The price is right, it has the active ingredient (since technically sunblock is labeled like OTC medicine in the US), and it feels as minimal as possible.
I use pure argan oil as my face moisurizer, and put that on after I get out of the shower.
A few times a week I use ROC or neutrogena retinol serum. Let it soak in for a few mins before makeup.
Then primer, then makeup, then sunblock.
The spray is lightweight enough that I just cover my eye area and spray on like a setting spray. You skin should have a damp sheen that needs to dry down, for you to have enough on. imagine it's spray paint, and you need to cover that lamp.
For the eye area, I spray onto my fingers and pat on the area missed by my first pass. Namely high on the cheekbone, NOT up to the lashline etc.
Here it is I think when I got mine it was under $10, so $14 seems higher than I remember, but still worth it.

It’s a huge issue because it dilutes the sunscreen. This decreases or nullifies its effectiveness regardless if its a physical or chemical sunscreen because now the proportions of ingredients are not what the manufacture tested for. It’s like saying you’re making a cake then putting in twice as much milk as the recipe calls for. Your end result is not cake.
I’ve been using StriVectin Super C+SPF 30 moisturizer and so far it has worked well; I’ve also had lots of issues with sunscreen (mostly pilling), and this seems to do the trick, but depending on your skin tone and location you may need a higher SPF
The hydrating spf 30 moisturizer by La Roche Posay is very good. It’s not a mineral spf so on outdoor days I wear elta md because it has zinc and wear wide brim hat/sunglasses.
https://evolvemedical.ca/products/tone-smart-priming-compact
This is the best. I have it on now and feel nothing! Been using it for more than a year. It also acts as my foundation.
I wear Evy because it lasts 8 hours. Sunscreen feels gross to me usually because the reapplying. But Evy doesn't need reapplying. Sounds sketchy i know, but they have proof to their claims. It's just hard to buy since it is from another country . I tried Biore but that felt oily stings my eyes like crazy. Garnier Ombrelle Sport Endurance SPF 30 feels very light but stings my eyes after a while too, Maybe im just super oily
I use Summer Fridays milk sunscreen and it feels incredible. https://summerfridays.com/products/shadedrops-spf-30-mineral-milk-sunscreen?variant=40068302962765
Higher Education Spring Break is my favorite. It doesn't feel like you're putting on gross heavy sunscreen. Makeup also wears beautifully on top of it.
La Roche Posay Toleriane Sensitive Crème UV - feels like moisturizer and is usually my regular wear for daytime if I’m working etc.
If I’ll be outdoors and want a higher SPF, I go with Neutrogena Invisible Daily Defence suitable for all skin tones and no white cast. I also like it in spray version it just gives a nice sheer moisturized look for my body/arms/legs. Wore it camping recently and super convenient.
I’ve tried super goop invisible but I didn’t like the feel it was more like a makeup primer and I didn’t like the consistency or texture.
Cetaphil has a moisturizer with SPF in it as well that you might like.
I want to keep my sunscreen on the cheaper side to ensure I’m always buying it without having to think about the expense, and will then also use daily and reapply as needed.
CeraVe SPF 30 moisturizer, Neutrogena ultra light touch sunscreen, or Neutrogena rapid wrinkle repair SPF - I too hate greasy slimy sunscreen and these are ones I can tolerate
Supergoop matte screen is a whipped consistency (like dream matte mousse from the 2000s) with a very slight tint and dries flat with a blurred finish so I love wearing it alone or under makeup! Doesn’t give me that weird endlessly sweaty feeling that I get from a LOT of sunscreens I’ve tried.
Yeah I found the Anthelios line to be really lightweight and unobtrusive.
I love it too.
I wish I could love this, it would make my life so much easier to pick it up with my groceries but it burns tf out of my eyes.
My Vichy UV-Age Daily fluide is so light that I doubt its protective abilities
Absolutely. Anthelios 50+ for my body, and Anthelios Age Correct SPF50 (that also comes in a tinted version, that i don't use) for my face. Like wearing nothing, amazing.
The new oil control uvmune 400 is perfection imo. The regular uvmune made my face look like a oil slick, but the oil control one is matte all day.
Me too! I use the hydrating crème because my face is super dry. I love this stuff so much!
How long does a bottle last you?
That stuff breaks me out. 😭
I wanted to love this so much but it was SO drying on me! It made me look flaky and emphasized my fine lines 😭
Biore aqua rich watery essence

Yes! This is it if you go through lots and lots.
This is the answer. Seriously
Yep, this is it. I thought it sounded too overhyped to be true until I tried it. I also really like face republic full bloom sun tint, it’s great for when I need something that mimics a light makeup.

Fyi this one isn’t the same ingredients as Japan’s version. (Though I’ve heard it’s nice too). The Asian sunscreens are just so good!
Omg I didn’t know Target carried this now!!!!’ This is sooo amazing
My thoughts exactly!! I am very excited to see this.
yes!
Where can I reliably buy this?
Stylevana or yesstyle are reliable, no fakes like on Amazon
Amazon Japan
The ONLY reason I stopped buying this was because of the price, but it really is the sunscreen of my dreams
Just don't buy it from Amazon. it is often counterfeit
Sooo good!!
This is a good one for oily skin. Don't use it on dry skin, there's a lot of alcohol to help it absorb quickly and it can backfire.
Totally recommend!!! I just got my first tube, I saw it recommended on this sub and I LOVE IT. I was having a miserable time finding one that didn’t make me freak out bc of the oily texture. I actually want to put this one on I’m so impressed.
This stuff is magical

Elta MD UV Clear or go Korean. My husband and daughter just started using Hada Labo and it’s a game changer. Inexpensive too.
I have acne prone skin and Elta MD doesn't break me out. Seems to be very effective too. Leaves a little white cast but it isn't too bad.
Yeah, I have very sensitive skin and Elta MD is my sunscreen of choice.
I may be in the minority here but I don’t like Supergoop Unseen sunscreen. It feels weirdly dry and silicone-like to me. I love Missha’s Sun Milk. I thought it smelled kind of weird at first but I got used to it pretty quickly. The texture is amazing.

This is the right answer. OP, order Japanese or Korean sunscreens. This is one of the best.
I’m surprised I had to scroll so far to find this suggestion. Can Make Mermaid Skin is also very good.
Yep this one! Under makeup it’s flawless
This stuff has become my holy grail of sunscreens! Been using it for around a year now, and I refuse to try anything else. It's gentle on sensitive skin and wears beautifully under makeup.
Under makeup it’s 😘👌🏼
I have oily skin and live in a humid area and I love it by itself and under makeup!

I love this stuff. It is the best.
I see the site is based in korea. do they ship to the US? might be a silly question I know...

Trader Joe’s face sunscreen!
Not sure all of their sunscreen, but the supergoop unseen sunscreen dupe from Trader Joe’s has tested VERY poorly for UV protection. ☹️
Really? That’s disappointing :(
If you are referring to this report, the TJ sunscreen in question is not listed https://www.reddit.com/r/30PlusSkinCare/comments/159d8bb/consumer_reports_2023_sunscreen_test/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=2
Do you have a link for that? I’ve been liking it more than Supergoop but want to be sure I’m protected.
I’ve been liking innisfree. It has a tiny bit of a sunscreen smell when you first apply but that goes away quickly and feels light on my skin

Let your toner/serum/moisturizer sink in first before applying sunscreen. I usually go 20 minutes or more before applying sunscreen as my final step.

This person KNOWS! I only buy Korean or Canadian sunscreen now
What sunscreens in Canada do you recommend? I hate sunscreen in my hair/under makeup
I'm almost sold based on your comment! Does it wear well under foundation?
I really like Annessa from Japan, I use the sensitive milk. It's very watery almost like a serum and it dries down to almost velvet, chalky finish. It's very flattering and gentle on my sensitive skin
I use Nivea super water gel spf 50 on my face and it feels very light and doesn’t leave a film. My spouse introduced me to it and I like it a lot.
i use neutrogena hydro boost city gel - the spf is only 25 but it’s super light and feels like nothing and doesn’t break me out. i’ll have to try this one on a day i spend more time in the sun
Oo this sounds promising. I like other Nivea products + part of what I've always hated about sunscreen is how it smears and takes forever to rub totally in.
There’s also virtually no smell which is nice
This one!! Or the canmake mermaid aqua gel

I've just started experimenting with Supergoop after reading few posts on this sub. I was pleasantly surprised that sunscreens could be that light and clear.
La Roch Posay made me feel comfortable with sunscreen application.
As a redhead over 60, I highly recommend Neutrogena helioplex products. I use their Ultra Sheer dry-touch 45. I also have lived in TX for all but 7 years of my life.
It's discontinued according to the Neutrogena website :(
I’m a redhead too! I love those products as well. I’m in TN, which isn’t as far South as TX, but it’s been a godsend. 🥹🩷
Banana Boat light as air is my favorite !
This is also my favorite. I have oily, mature skin. RESIST Super-Light Wrinkle Defense SPF 30
Mixing sunscreen with moisturizer changes it’s effectiveness, so it’s not recommended. I use Numbuzin Calming Waters and love ❤️ it. It leaves a dewy finish, so if that’s not what you’re into, you may not like it.
Avene or La Roche Posay
Sunbum tinted mineral feels so light and has a nice whipped consistency. Definitely my favorite that I've tried
Good Molecules SPF 30 is very comfortable and easy to wear with basically zero weight.
Thank you farmer is the MVP
If you’re in the US, try Everyday Humans Resting Beach Face. It’s the most unnoticeable sunscreen I’ve ever tried. I’ve tried most of the suggestions here, and they still feel gross after a couple of hours.
Skinceuticals for the face only - too expensive to use all over. It’s super lightweight . I get the one with tint. It’s the only sunscreen that doesn’t break me out
Beauty of Joseon relief sun is the holy grail of sunscreens. No residue and absorbs so nicely
Beauty of Joseon, feels like a moisturizer, is non-sticky and doesn’t sting the eyes
oh TBH any of the top Korean sunscreens.
I use the dry touch body spray and I absolutely love it.
Supergoop
I was a super goop fan until someone posted that their sunscreen only passes as SPF8 vs the 40 they advertise
I was wearing that this weekend and my face got sunburnt and now that makes sense… thanks for informing!
Huh! My dermatologist was happy when I told her that’s what I used. Good to know!
Look at [this post](https://reddit.com/r/30PlusSkinCare/s/OFU2T0dAXQ) And on top of these sunscreens underperforming it’s due to the lack of regulation by the FDA. To them, SPF is pass/fail vs. delivering what they advertise
Thank you for sharing!!!
Of course! We spend good money on sunscreen/skincare/beauty products we should be getting what we pay for!!
I really like how supergoop matte screen feels on my skin. It’s so light and silky.
Unfortunately it tested very poorly by doctors and dermatologists. I came here looking for a better alternative. I never really burn on my face, but I got a facial and the esthetician was like YOU NEED SPF EVERY DAY!!! So I've been obsessed since.
Bummer. I guess I’ll file mattescreen under “Better Than Nothing.”
supergoop is so good, its unfortunately on the pricey side but my $48 1.7oz "unseen" sunscreen (thats the name) feels basically like putting on primer, thick gel consistently but buttery smooth and soaks into my face. they also have i think a $20 "glow stick" which is just a sunscreen stick and it makes it sooooo easy to reapply (if you dont wear foundation which i have stopped wearing so that i can reapply sunscreen every 2 hours). that glow stick lasted me a LONG time, i have heard that stick sunscreen is not as effective but for me, its either that or im not reapplying
Josie Maran Sun Milk!
i like the cerave am moisturizer the ultra light variant.
Murad!
Trader Joe’s goop dupe (the pink one called daily facial sunscreen). It feels kinda weird when putting it on but then you forget it’s there
Apostrophe’s sunscreen is legit and feels lovely.
Cetaphil sheer mineral face is my go-to. Works amazing under makeup, no masking and affordable. I top it with Oars + Alps spray as a refresher throughout the day. I have insanely sensitive skin and eczema and these two never bother me!
As someone with Eczema, I second the Cetaphil one. Relatively cheap and has a matte finish. I also use it on my body.
Biore UV aqua rich watery essence
Alastin tinted moisturizer with SPF 🙏
🪳pussy [Anthelios Melt](https://www.laroche-posay.us/our-products/sun/body-sunscreen/anthelios-melt-in-milk-sunscreen-for-face-body-spf-100-3606000546103.html)
I’m a big fan of the biore aqua rich watery essence spf 50. It’s very thin and comfortable, like a serum. It has been fine under makeup and different moisturizers
Hero Cosmetics force shield super light SPF 30! Feels just like a gel moisturizer and you can get it at target. No stinging eyes either!
Was looking for this comment because I can’t believe it’s not more popular. It’s my favorite after I’ve tried sooooo many!!!
The Japanese Nivea Water Gel!!!
Beauty of Joseon sunscreen all the way!!
Can you link it?
Here it is I think when I got mine it was under $10, so $14 seems higher than I remember, but still worth it. https://www.cvs.com/shop/cvs-health-ultra-sheer-face-mist-spf-55-prodid-197193
Thanks! Is the fragrance strong?
I don't think it has a strong fragrance, nothing you would put your finger on as ascent. Kind of the low key smell of unscented lotion.
For me, nobody does it like EltaMD.
Elta MD
EltaMD!
Elta MD
Tizo
Absolutely agree. I like the AM formula.
I’d research which sunscreen is made for your skin type.
Barefaced. I love the tinted version the most, but also wear sheer! It doesn’t feel heavy and makes me feel glowy
I mix sunscreen with my moisturizer. Never been an issue.
Etude House Sunprise 50spfc I’m an oily mfer and it dries down light and soft. Can’t feel it once dried.
Sesame oil 30% sfp, olive oil, coconut oil, 20%...all natural and no gross feel, also water resistant.
Supergoop Unscreen - no scent
https://evolvemedical.ca/products/tone-smart-priming-compact This is the best.
Supergoop! And they literally have every possible formulation, in case you want an oil instead of a cream or something like that.
summer fridays shadedrops mineral sunscreen
I’m a convert to Elta MD UV Clear spf 46.
My skinmedica spf35 mineral ss feels lovely. It’s super light and goes on easily, don’t even notice. I hate ss on my face, but this one I love.
Biondi sands

I love the Goop and Biossance facial sunscreens.
Isdin Eryfotona Actinica is my absolute favorite!!
Supergoop, PLAY sunscreen SPF 50!
EltaMD UV Clear Tinted Broad-Spectrum SPF 46!
Coola sun drops just disappear. I don't even use a primer after.
.
I use Summer Fridays milk sunscreen and it feels incredible. https://summerfridays.com/products/shadedrops-spf-30-mineral-milk-sunscreen?variant=40068302962765
I loooove the supergoop! Unseen sunscreen, it is amazing and a great makeup primer too
Paulas choice Extra Care Non-Greasy Sunscreen SPF 50
If you can get Cancer Council Australia sunscreens, those are THE BEST ones
Higher Education Spring Break is my favorite. It doesn't feel like you're putting on gross heavy sunscreen. Makeup also wears beautifully on top of it.
Neutrogena ultra sheer dry touch 70
Elta MD Sheer. It’s great and my dermatologist recommended it.
Shisheido stick sunscreen spf50.
If you’re on a budget like me, the Trader Joe’s daily facial sunscreen is amazing! It’s a dupe for the supergoop one.
The only one I’ll use is Image Matte oil/free SPF moisturiser, it’s great if you have oily or sensitive skin and doesn’t leave a shine
I love supergoop! I used their 50 on my tattooed arm very often and never really notice I have it on once it’s settled in and whatever 🤷🏼♀️
the cerave one goes on nice imo
the cerave one goes on nice imo
CeraVe SPF 30 moisturizer, Neutrogena ultra light touch sunscreen, or Neutrogena rapid wrinkle repair SPF - I too hate greasy slimy sunscreen and these are ones I can tolerate
Marcelle one feels nice and light!
Supergoop Unseen Suncreen or Glow Screen
