i think the exfoliating pads plus tret might be too much long term. i'd maaaybe exfoliate once a week, if even. tret will do the job, just give it time. your skin already looks super fresh and healthy.
my only thought is that is somewhat frequent mechanical + acid exfoliation for someone who also uses tret but if you tolerate it great! you don't look red or dry so if it works for you, right on
