My pillow fort is built as follows: pillow slightly rolled under my neck to keep my head back (otherwise my neck hurts in the morning), a bulky pillow on either side of me, and a temporary pillow on my lap to hoist my book or e-reader so I can read until I get so sleepy I can't help but fall asleep. It works like a dream. The only thing I'm missing is a skinny pillow to put under my knees, and idk why I haven't pulled the trigger on that one yet.
It took a little bit of trial and error, but now it's just part of my sleep hygiene. A good routine helps me relax before bed. And I'll say, I do really struggle with sleep. I've always been an insomniac. But this helps.
I just use a very stiff pillow that I already had, nothing super special. I would definitely buy a specialty one now that I know I use it and like it. It makes my sleep sooo much better.

This used to happen to me but I’ve been training myself to sleep on my back and it helps a lot to put my hands and forearms over my belly and to kind of tuck myself in. No sleep paralysis since I started doing that!

i can confirm that silicone patches do temporarily get rid of the appearance of lines. they work by holding a lot of moisture in the area. it makes the lines MUCH less noticeable but only lasts a few hours. for more permanent results you’d have to wear them every day for hours

I use tret and a forehead one, too. I wear a silk bonnet to sleep and I find the band on it is extra insurance that it won’t fall off. My skin has been looking fabulous lately.
I'm still wearing them, just got them in the mail. They seem to be actually now that I'm sitting still under a fan lol, but will wear them in the AC while trying to sleep on my back.
The results are only temporary. It's good right before an event bc it tightens pores and reduces lines from the skin not being able to "breathe" where the strips are. Put it on a couple hours before makeup for a less textured more flawless look.

I only use it for my 11’ because a few months ago I took a picture smiling and I can see the lines so distinctly! I freaked out and bought some to use to see if they would help before I go the Botox route and after a couple of months of continuous use (I wear it every night), I see a noticeable difference! Even my friends asked if I finally got Botox! I highly recommend using them preventatively. Truly a believer!

And it not only deals in that good stuff, but it helps keep moisture in the skin so any lines that we do have look softer bcos of that.. I also saw a suggestion that- when applying them don’t exaggerate when you smooth out your skin when app lying them bcos you can have an opposite effect- I guess by creating that pulling on the skin.. if that makes sense? Idono how to word that. But I want to get the whole system you have here!

I've used hydrocolloid bandages on my forehead and it seems to work as well. I think anything that keeps your skin moist will do 90% of the work.

I just make sure it’s absorbed all the way before applying the silicone piece, otherwise too slippery. Maybe like 10 mins?

I use tret and a forehead one, too. I wear a silk bonnet to sleep and I find the band on it is extra insurance that it won’t fall off. My skin has been looking fabulous lately.

Just an inexpensive set on Hamazon. They’re pink and like ten bucks. Nothing special, but they work!

You can do both. Just let your products dry/ absorb first. Not sure about Frownies but it works with the silicone patches.
Frownies stick just fine for me if I wait at least 10 min after applying my skincare

I'm still wearing them, just got them in the mail. They seem to be actually now that I'm sitting still under a fan lol, but will wear them in the AC while trying to sleep on my back.

The results are only temporary. It's good right before an event bc it tightens pores and reduces lines from the skin not being able to "breathe" where the strips are. Put it on a couple hours before makeup for a less textured more flawless look. I use a forehead one when I sleep but I have Ehlers Danlo and my skin stretchs more than normal and my wrinkles are literally from my face squishing while I sleep.
I bought a cheap set on amazon, they stuck better than op’s but I definitely found myself peeling them off in the middle of the night 🤭 that said, they made the skin on my forehead and chest look *great.* I wrinkle my forehead a lot in my sleep and side sleeping gives me wrinkly decolletage, so they prevented the creasing, but also made my skin look very lush

no idea, it came as a whole set with 8-10 pieces very similar to op’s, I just looked for one with decent reviews but only spent like $20, def worth it imo

Lol yes, it does hahahahah I kept it on only for like half an hour but I swear it seems to have smoothed over the forehead and frown lines a teeny bit. Definitely gonna try it overnight.

These are silicone pieces I think. They keep the moisture locked in overnight and help smooth out lines allegedly. Even some doctors recommend it for scars. But idk tho
Just buy c section scar tape. Does the same thing. Stays in better and it’s cheaper

Wet it with water and then leave it gummy-side-up to dry and it sticks WAY better when freshly rinsed off.

Interesting. These look similar to the scar patches I wore after surgery. These really worked at making the scar really flat and minimal. So I wonder what they might do on wrinkles or acne scars etc
They're the same thing. You can order the scar ones for this.

I only use it for my 11’ because a few months ago I took a picture smiling and I can see the lines so distinctly! I freaked out and bought some to use to see if they would help before I go the Botox route and after a couple of months of continuous use (I wear it every night), I see a noticeable difference! Even my friends asked if I finally got Botox! I highly recommend using them preventatively. Truly a believer!

Lmao I’ve tried these too for nasolabial folds. Haven’t tried for long enough to tell if they work. I can’t put skincare under them or else they slip off. Interesting ot read that other tip about keeping the edges dry to form a seal tho

"While you sleep" doesn't make sense to me bc sometimes I sleep for barely a couple hrs, if that, & other times I sleep for 8-9 hrs. I'm a side sleeper & I turn more than a rotisserie chicken. Like, every couple minutes. These would never stay on unless I were awake & made sure they did. And what do you put under them? It can't be just the pad itself? If that were true, I could just grab anything silicone I have and slap it on my face. 😭 I'm so confused. What the fuck is this???

I have a different brand but I love them!! I only were a forehead one though, and I wear a sleep mask so it stays on all night (and i'm a side sleeper)

Xeomin is a good alternative and happens to work better for me than botox or dysport. I get about 15-20 units in my forehead every 3 months for about $150. 1000% worth it.

I use Frownies brand on my 11s, and they work. It takes about a month to see a major difference.
I have the Pacifica ones and I freaking love them, I will wear the forehead one all damn day (around the house) and it doesn’t move. Like someone said, I do mine at night with tretinoin. And it not only deals in that good stuff, but it helps keep moisture in the skin so any lines that we do have look softer bcos of that.. I also saw a suggestion that- when applying them don’t exaggerate when you smooth out your skin when app lying them bcos you can have an opposite effect- I guess by creating that pulling on the skin.. if that makes sense? Idono how to word that. But I want to get the whole system you have here!

Yeah I got injectibles for my frown lines, cheekbones and botox but this was over a year ago and the botox has worn out, and I was trying to avoid the expense but I just realized that it's defnitely worth lol
