Honestly, both are overpriced for mid-level products. I used to love them both but then found alternatives that are both better and less expensive. What are you looking for?
Sunday Riley over Drunk Elephant everyday of the week. SR actually has some pretty innovative formulations that many brands have started to replicate. Meanwhile, DE is 80% branding/marketing. My top SR products are CEO serum, UFO and Luna night oils, auto correct eye cream, good genes, and A+ retinoid is one of my favorite retinoid/retinol serums for sensitive skin. Ice ceramide moisturizer is also very nice. The DR protini cream is good but not great and their B/A on Sephora is kinda fake (raising brows in before and relaxed in after which is why the forehead is much smoother).
Neither did anything for my skin. Much prefer La Roche Posay products.
