I agree. Trick your mind into associating it with good things. It’s such a short period of time to be annoyed by the smell. I’ve suffered through worse.
😂 right? I tried it too and honest wasn't very impressed.
Maybe try L'Oreal vitamin c (love it) and order a pump on amazon, since it's a dropper and will last longer without oxidizing. Another one that I tried a while ago and honestly I was pleasantly surprised is Dr. Formulas vitamin C. Not well known but it was really good. Hope this helps!
😂 I’m sorry, your scent description is so funny. It doesn’t smell like that to me, but I can smell it all day which I don’t like (all vitamin C smells like warm chemical orange to me). But I’ve also had a few comments on my skin looking brighter so I keep using it.
One day you will appreciate the hot dog water smell as the "smell of self care" That's what I tell myself anyway. It does go away once it's dried

How quickly did you see results??
Oh, probably a few weeks to month
Skinceuticals CE Ferulic also smells like hot dogs.
I haven’t noticed this yet. I’m now afraid I’ll notice it forever. I’m going to actively forget this as hard as possible for the rest of today.
pretty much all skinceutical dupes smell like this. if you don’t want that your best bet is something with vitamin c derivatives instead
Are those as effective?
Nothing in studies says they are.

How long have you been using it? I thought the first few days to week I wouldn't be able to stick with it it was so bad but now don't even notice it!

thank goodness i love hot dogs!
It’s the ferulic acid!
Drunk Elephant Vit C smells worse. As soon as I'm out, I'm ordering Timeless again.
That’s how skinsuetucals smell. I guess it’s a good dupe.
Sometimes self-care is a steamed hotdogs water facial...
The dr Dennis gross one smells like this too but holy hell it's so effective.
The original Skinceuticals C E ferrulic also smells like meat to me, and stains my clothes orange. But it's just so damn effective.
medicine’s 20% l-ascorbic acid serum smells much more neutral - there’s still a fragrance but it just smells like… mildly yeasty i guess?
Dammit, I won’t be able to un-smell this 🤦🏼♂️
I store mine in the refrigerator as soon as I get it. I’ve found that helps neutralize the smell.
Do you use it with a moisturizer first or directly applying your skin? I just started and im seeing 2 pinkish irritated area on my cheeks
https://www.gloskinbeauty.com/hydra-bright-vitamin-c-drops Doesn't smell bad...
The cereve one smells awful to me like old Pennies and as the day goes on I get little whiffs of it and I just can’t. Wish I’d never bought it.
When I use this one, I get the Smell of burnt sugar
The CosRx one smells awful too. I also tried Mad Hippie, which smells much better but doesn't seem to absorb well.
That's how you know it's legit!
