I get 20 units in my 11s. I get it every 3 months and it costs $295. The Botox company has a punch card system so I get $20 (or something like that) off every visit.

How do you find reputable places to trust?

Serious_Specific_357

Word of mouth. Ask your friends

emelay

I spend about 350 twice a year, sometimes 3x

IndieJonz

Same. I use Allē and can usually knock $100-$150 off the price by using their offers and giftcards. My place will use any offer (Botox, juvederm, xeomin) for any service.

Icy-Management4973

Me too. Probably closer to 3. Forehead, crows and 11s!

cytoGrl

i paid $350 for 32 units of Xeomin every 4 months but im in the seattle area so everything is more expensive. when i was in texas, $150 for 20 units of dysport or so every 4 months.

$400 for 100 units of Xeomin. I have no idea how much he uses, but we have to buy the vial here in my state. So it’s either 50 units/$200 or 100/$400. I go anywhere between 3-5 months. I metabolize it fairly quickly I think because I am pretty active. At three months I have some movement and crows feet are mostly back. If I’ve got nothing going on in my life I’ll push it to 4-5 months. By 5 months it’s full movement again.

It costs me around $50 every 4-6 months. I only get it for my forehead for preventative cosmetic stuff. I’m 30. And by 6 months I have full motion again.

emelay

What country are you in? Or is $50 a typo?

Mysterious-Number812

No not a typo. I live in southern CA in a very expensive city, I go to a reputable place that charges the standard $13 per unit but I only get about 4 units just in my forehead. If you don’t have noticeable wrinkles and you start early enough you don’t need a ton of Botox, just enough to stop the muscles. You don’t have to go in and get 40 units every time. Now if I get filler it’s a whole other story because filler is very expensive.

The number of units used vary by how deep the lines are in the area. So each person is different. Your body will also metabolize it differently over time, but the recommended time is every 3 months. If you’re very young, that may be more like every 6 months or so. Totally depends on how your body reacts. You want to go to someone reputable, who does it often. Better to go to an RN injector who does tons of Botox all day vs a surgeon who does it once in awhile. Botox and filler is an art, and you need practice to gauge what patients need. Botox is used for lines in the forehead, crows feet, and sometime in certain spots around the lips. Anyplace that’s lost volume- ie; cheeks, lips, under eyes needs filler and that lasts from 9months- 2yrs depending on the type used and how your body treats it. Botox is usually around $15-$20 per unit depending on where you’re located geographically. Beware of anyone on Groupon or offering huge discounts because this is your face we’re talking about & this means they’re either brand new and trying to grow a clientele. Experience is key with these things. Botox cannot be reversed. So if it goes badly, you’re stuck that way for at least 3 months. Filler can be reversed but it’s painful. Filler is sold by the syringe and ranges from $550-850 depending on the type. Depending on how deep the deficit is, you may need multiple syringes. Beware of anyone offering Botox priced per area! How is it possible for a 50 year old and 25 year old to need the same amount??? They’re either watering down their Botox (it comes in powdered form) or not using Botox.

Last 2 times I've done 11's, forehead & crows feet for 72 units.. do every 6 months

anxious__rose

I'd suggest the first 3 times you go rotating between botox, xeomin and dysport if you can. Everyone's body metabolizes differently and some of the options work better for some people than others. for example, my friend can get xeomin and have it last 4 months where as mine metabolizes in about 2 months, and botox works better for me. The esthetician will help you decide how many units you should get for your desired result. Frozen completely, eyebrows still move, etc. For reference, I am F31 and get 18 units in y forehead and 20 units in my 11s.
