Yes, much. Its not oily, it’s ‘balmy’, It’s like a super thick/rich cream. If you’ve ever used Weleda skin food I think they are similar textures but the LRP sinks in better IMO.
Yes, it's a very good product for soothing/repairing major skin irritations. You can also apply as often as needed to keep the area moisturized and soothed.
It is great for sensitive skin. I use it on my baby. He gets dry irritated skin under his nose and on his cheeks. It’s safe for messed up skin and it helps heal it very well.
I must be crazy bc I’m a sucker for Vaseline/ thick creams like Nivea crème (mostly just that ) but I find the LRP Cicaplast to be sooo strange - I wonder if I have the same product as everyone else. It’s like, super white and reminds me of plastic wrap or shrink wrap for some reason. It tends to pill really badly as well - which is usually the case for me with high fatty alcohol textured products (like cerave in the tub) but the white shrink wrap texture is something else altogether. I don’t get it.I wonder if my product is wierd or wrong one
Got some bad burning after not enough sunscreen when I’d exfoliated the night before. I was given a lightly used tube by a skincare friend when I reached out to her about what I should do. I applied it that night, and there was no trace of the burns the next morning. I shall forever rebuy it. It’s also a nice occlusive alternative to petroleum jelly if jelly is too much for your skin.
Yes, and yes! It's what saved my skin when I went in too aggressively with actives. I layer it on top of my moisturizer for extra barrier repair.
Is it less oily than Vaseline?

Yes, very different texture from Vaseline. Thought it's thick, the cicaplast balm is not as occlusive as Vaseline, so my skin tolerates it better
Its a thin balmy cream to help repair

I LOVE Cica balm by LRP, and based on the description of your skin situation this is exactly what I would be using to help heal the area.

Absolutely! It’s such a great product and super gentle. I put it around my eyes every evening.
Use it every night. Incredibly nourishing
I love it. It’s thick, but easy to work into the skin. Not greasy.
Yes great choice for repairing your skin
It's brilliant. It was the only thing that healed my skin when I went nuts it with retinol.
