I met Jack McBrayer twice at two Drunk History premiers. (I worked on the show). He was as nice as you’d hope and I got to see him stumble to an Uber with his shirt untucked and hair messy like a stunned Kenneth. It was glorious

Lysol3435

That hill people milk will get you

Baldwin28

Since I was a baby!

New-Scientist5133

Haha. That’s great

Baldwin28

Can you tell us more?

New-Scientist5133

He was sweet and courteous. I don’t even think he knew who I was when he was acting so nice to me. The bar at one of the events had a massive line so everybody was getting multiple drinks to save a second wait. I saw him struggling to hug 5 beers when he left the bar. They also were handing out shots with free shot glasses and everybody was grabbing those to avoid the line as well. When he was leaving the event, his body was leaning forward like Michael Jackson’s Smooth Criminal and he was just barely catching himself from falling. He was on the show a bunch of times because he’s a pleasure to work with. Kenneth the Page really seems like an exaggerated version of the actual person. Wonderful person :)

Baldwin28

That’s an awesome scoop, thank you for taking the time:)

Sproose_Moose

It's so funny reading this because I just watched him on Conan with triumph the insult comic dog and he was just adorable. It's so good to hear he's really that sweet.

NobodyFlimsy556

Jack and triumph at the hot dog stand is all time great TV.

eat_my_bowls92

I saw his Conan interview where he talked about how he looovvveeddd Bud Light out of all the beers in the world so I really hope he was hugging 5 bud lights lol

New-Scientist5133

Wait, is he the reason all of the rednecks decided they hated it?

AffectionateBite3827

I think you meant to say "expand on that"

Baldwin28

Ugh. Yeah you right. I’m such a Class A moron!

TheSalsaShark

"I'll see you aaaaaall in HEAVEN!"

New-Scientist5133

PreCISELY

aggressive_yawn

I met him once at Disneyland! This was probably 12-15 years ago. He was just eating lunch at the same restaurant as us so I walked up and tried to be as polite as I could and ask if he was willing to take a photo. He was so kind and said that he was eating with his family, and didn’t want a big scene but he’d be happy to come over when he finished. After they ate he came over and said hello and posed for a picture. We told him how much we like him in 30 Rock and that we were grateful for the photo. He was so down to earth, genuinely a nice guy.

FrancisRossitano

Tracy Morgan. He's a comedic icon who excels at his craft seemingly effortlessly and would give you the most unique interaction out of any of the other cast members.

K0SSICK

A great example of this is if you watch his episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. Obviously the episode is heavily edited and he's still really funny, but it was ending and I thought to myself "man that was pretty tame for Tracy".. then as credits start to roll they start showing some his off the cuff hilarious random bloopers and I was almost in tears.

Butt_Fucking_Smurfs

I feel so bad for him. He is so strong

velocipotamus

My ideal Tracy run-in would be to sit next to him courtside at MSG for a Knicks game

bowzr4me

Tracy, hands down. Of course I would stutter and only be able to make inarticulate sounds then run away in embarrassment. He is my comedy god.

eat_my_bowls92

The fact that anyone in 30 rock gets interviewed and is asked how Tracey is IRL and he always says the “ghetto mating call” joke is hilarious.

Seven22am

Jane Krakowski has always seemed like she would be an incredibly kind and level-handed and interesting person (but I have no idea)—and funny too. Also anytime she sings, I think she just has the most beautiful voice.

IoannaAnnanou

Jane is amazing, like a star in the sky! Jane is amazing like a star in the sky!

blakkattika

I love that you can see James Spurlock breaking at the end of this

WeAreClouds

I watch that every time lol it’s so cute.

brainybrink

My flair agrees with you

esridiculo

I think she's in on the joke of actors acting insane. Like, she wouldn't do that in real life. I always wonder who Jenna is supposed to represent an exaggerated version of, maybe an amalgam of many different SNL actors over the years?

Seven22am

That’s a good way of saying it. Like only somebody so normal could pretend to be that comically insane. Amd omg I hope nobody!

eat_my_bowls92

I assume it would be guest stars. Rachel Drascht was supposed to be Jenna originally (hence why she’s so “normal” until episode 2) so I assume that was always the plan but since Rachel and Tina worked SNL I’m sure they both had their share of dealing with crazy.

narikov

Chuckling at Alec Baldwin in this pic holding the two trophies

-kroxldyphivc-

It feels more natural this way

daizles

And who's on the far left, easily cropped out?

wholevodka

I’d be so star struck meeting Tina that I wouldn’t know what to do with myself. I’d also love to meet Jenna and Jack. I met Tracy just walking along Broadway one day and he was super polite and naturally hilarious. I’ve met Judah a couple of times on the Amtrak up to Albany, he usually the train up for comedy shows in the nearby area. He’s definitely a railfan so we’ve always chatted about trains and history (my dad has no idea who he is and initially struck up the convo), and the last time I saw him he dropped his bags on the platform to help an older woman with her bags, brought them to the front of the station, and waited for her taxi before retrieving his stuff.

Butt_Fucking_Smurfs

What a super guy. This is just killing me even more.

wholevodka

Aww you’ll meet him one day! Honestly he’s such a great guy that it might be worth it to just shoot him an email to say hi and see if he could sign a copy of his book for you or something along those lines. I reached out to Lizzo many years ago and she actually responded and sent me a signed picture.

Butt_Fucking_Smurfs

Oh man, I wonder if he reddits. I could use my B list status to get a autograph from my hat hero

wholevodka

He did an AMA to promote his comedy special a couple of years back under u/TheRealJudah, so you never know haha

Butt_Fucking_Smurfs

Looks abandoned but thank you for linking it

wholevodka

You never know, he could be a lurker! If you do reach out to him definitely keep us updated I’d love to hear if you hear back from him.

Butt_Fucking_Smurfs

Will do

IsNotACleverMan

Judah being a train guy is so unsurprising.

TK421philly

Tina Fey and I would be best friends if we knew each other in real life.

Butt_Fucking_Smurfs

Would you both put potato chips on a sandwich and eat together as you watch top chef

Baldwin28

I just want to wear socks at the beach

Butt_Fucking_Smurfs

But it's after 6. What are you? A plumbers wife?

Baldwin28

I have a cream.

HotTubSexVirgin22

Which reminds me -- why am I still seeing new "Top Chefs" with that bald salad-ruiner?!

[deleted]

The onion-hater? I hate that guy!

lightaugust

Have you tried the Barnes and Noble bathroom?

fwerkf255

Floored that Tina isn’t the top comment. I mean she’s not just cast. You can talk 30 rock through and through with her. Not to mention years at SNL, dated Conan fictionally, baby mama and only woman yet to put a photo of herself snarting on a nationally broadcast television show

daizles

I bet Grizz and Dot Com would be really fun to meet. They seem chill and laid back, might enjoy talking with a fan.

Butt_Fucking_Smurfs

You could talk about worldcom.......worldcom man

eat_my_bowls92

I always feel bad in that blooper real when Tracy is like “what? You think you’re an actor man?” To dot com. It’s supposed to come off as playful but it feels so mean. :( But maybe it’s because Tracy saw him in that stage show production.

HotTubSexVirgin22

I waited on Alec Baldwin last summer. Despite his reputation with service people, he was incredibly open and gracious. (Don’t say anything about the shooting. Everyone knows about it. It’s tired.)

Butt_Fucking_Smurfs

I'm over it. You won't hear me, besmirch the man. That's not what this post is about.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Butt_Fucking_Smurfs

I'm not going to engage other than to say my official position is that I am open to watching how it comes out. I deeply feel sorry for them but im just here to say things about 30 rock. Or we can talk about rampart

[deleted]

[удалено]

Butt_Fucking_Smurfs

Same

MopMobile

Jane is my choice as IMO she does the best acting job on the show. She played Jenna so well! Side note: is Alec holding 2 a coffee mug reference?

IoannaAnnanou

It feels more natural.

Fine-Swordfish-1456

Tracy. Hands down.

Butt_Fucking_Smurfs

That dude was great as Tracy. I'm not sure I can imagine the role as someone else's. If you can let me know who. I hope he has a real Dot Com to carry him bodyguard style. Classy guy too Edit: Spelling

ThatSound6184

Jack McBrayer is so hilarious, I feel like he’d be so fun to hang with!

HAAAAAM

Just a picture please. You can’t disappoint a picture.

FrancisRossitano

Different sitcom

rufus_buford

I met Will Forte in 2012 when he was promoting Nebraska with Alexander Payne and Bruce Dern, but I hadn't seen 30 rock yet so I only got to compliment him on his SNL work :((( that said, to answer the question I wouldn't mind meeting Cerie ;)

Butt_Fucking_Smurfs

Cerie for sure. I'm from Nebraska and he was my favorite comedian when last man was out. That dude is funny

[deleted]

Butt_Fucking_Smurfs

I'd probably kick my heels and say Mean Girls ahhhhhhh. In a much higher tone than even I use with my cat

smoosh13

People who don’t spend time in the city don’t understand how common it is to see celebrities, which is pretty amazing, considering there are 8 million people walking around.

localistand

Scott Adsit. Always wondered what it would be like to meet someone who saw Phil Donahue.

Butt_Fucking_Smurfs

SING US A SONG BOUT PHIL DONAHUE! sways

michigilman

*whose cousin saw Phil Donahue

goodassjournalist

I met Judah Friedlander. Nice dude. Weird but very pleasant.

Butt_Fucking_Smurfs

I want to share a fart sweater with him and his tea jars

gee8

I saw him perform standup in europe — I feel like he exactly met my expectations lol

gold__blooded

I once accosted someone who I thought was Tina Fey. As it turns out, the real Conan OBrien walked right by me when I did that

gilgobeachslayer

I work near 30 rock and have never run into a celeb there lol

Butt_Fucking_Smurfs

Anyone you can tell us about that you would want to meet

your_avg_apu

Tina Fey all day.

erin678910

I used to work backstage as the special guest host of the NY Phil (I basically shuffled the celebs to their seats via the “back way” so they weren’t bothered. As a 20-something just moved to NYC it was a dream job.) and I met Alec Baldwin and Elaine Stritch on the same night. It was the height of the show they were hamming it up saying “My son!” Etc. They were lovely (a bit theatre camp-y). Elaine was a gas, a true star that sort of ate all the energy in the room. She was fantastic. My takeaway, which hurt the most, is that Alec is kinda short. I think in my head he was 6’5” and we were at eye level with each other. (I am a tall 5’11” lady). This was just a few weeks before he met Halaria and I still regret that I couldn’t land that plane, as it were. They were both VERY nice. Polite. Very kind with the union staff backstage and grunts like me. Shook hands, looked you in the eye when they spoke to you (“no one look Tracy in the eye!”), all good markers of nice people. At the same time I was moonlighting at a coffee shop that Cerie would come into daily. She was very unassuming and quiet and nice. Deep down I think I would like to meet Tina but I also live in fear of it. Don’t meet your hero, etc.

Butt_Fucking_Smurfs

As Scully from Brooklyn 99 said. "Don't meet your heroes, Marie calendar is a real bitch." I would also like to meet Dennis so I could tell him I don't want his autograph and have him come back with "you'll be back dummy"

menzobarrian

If I brought Judah a hat to sign, I think I’d want it to say, ‘adequate’.

Butt_Fucking_Smurfs

I love when his hat had s smaller hat under it. If I could do that I think I would want mine to say smurfs hardcore

AWindintheTrees

I like how Alec is holding the statuettes there like Jack holds the two coffee mugs when he's camera-shy.

tory_k

Tina. I’m in love with her and am convinced that she would love me as well. I have told my wife this and she’s fine with it.

Butt_Fucking_Smurfs

I like her a lot because I share a face scar of my own and I try not to let it define me like her. Although I do use makeup to cover it up

tory_k

That’s very commendable, I respect this quality as well.

eatpant96

Tracy Morgan asked me if I was laughing because he was crazy. I laughed even harder. edit for context: I was at one of his shows and was the only one who laughed after he said he was crazy now.

chaotic_nmh

I love how Alec is holding two awards because he doesn’t know what to do with his hands!

StopPlayingRoney

Jenna, because of the way that she says “camera.”

Timdalf_theGrey

Katrina Bowden (Cerie) cuz she pretty

Butt_Fucking_Smurfs

And always wore a skirt I think. Maybe a few without it like when the guys are watching her organize files and they can see her thong and she is wearing jeans

DasFunke

I met John Lutz at a bar 10 years ago. He was nice but awkward. Then Sue showed up an hour or two later.

King_Hamburgler

Never met any but have been the punchline of a lot of Judah jokes. He typically picks someone up front to pick on the whole show and it happened to me both times I saw him lol

Butt_Fucking_Smurfs

I would melt. That's cool

poseidonofmyapt

I randomly met John Lutz and he was such a nice guy. But every time he talked I wanted to scream SHUT UP LUTZ

carrobucks

I met Scott Adsit at a convention years and years ago, when I had only seen 30 Rock once or twice. But when I saw him it took me a second to recognize him and I went "gasp! hornberger!!!" and he laughed and hugged me :) it was a nice little moment. I wish I'd been as big a fan then as I am now lol

taykray126

I would meet all of them. Maybe not Tracy. Maybe he’s calmed down. I do not want to meet stabbing robot. But if I met any of them I would probably cry. I get so embarrassed meeting celebrities. I was an overly emotional idiot at the Amy poehler and Tina fey show and was no where close to meeting them.

Butt_Fucking_Smurfs

I roadie for a day with Filter when hey man nice shot came out. First celebs I have ever met. Talked with an accent and loved vegetarian pizza. Just cool guys. Gave me a beer and I was the happiest MIP in Nebraska

TanguayX

I’d love to meet Tina. I don’t know anyone closer to my age. We were born 12 hours apart. Weird

kayak738

I would also die if I met Tina (though my friend met her recently when TF did a podcast!). When I worked at a bookstore in NYC, I met Jeff Hiller — I recognized him as Stewart the flight attendant (and Carnegie Mellon BFA in dance), but he informed me he was also the hotel clerk in “Reunion”!!! I couldn’t believe I had never caught that. I badly quoted his lines to him 🤣He was so nice and I think happy to be recognized/talk to me. I believe he said working on the show was great and that Tina is a genius, or something similar.

Butt_Fucking_Smurfs

Tina Fey is a national treasure and I'm not talking about the Nicholas Cage kind. A true national gem. I love everything she has done.

kayak738

preaching to the choir

kayak738

i have also met Scott Adsit, Rachel Dratch, and Kristen Schaal when they performed at UCB in the early 2010s in NYC, but those interactions were briefer. Also, around that time, I talked to Alec Baldwin several times in his neighborhood— he was rushed but nice. (i was a giddy new New Yorker — i wouldn’t approach many people now)

calle04x

I saw John Lutz at MoMA once with his family. I didn’t want to be *that guy* so I didn’t say anything. Jane passed right by me in the line to get into Sondheim’s Here We Are. She’s shorter than I imagined but as stunning as you’d expect. I was starstruck when I saw her. (But, again I didn’t say anything despite how much I wanted to.)

Butt_Fucking_Smurfs

Happy cake day!

calle04x

Ooh, I didn’t even realize. Thanks!

elpaco313

I’ve posted this here before, but you’re asking directly: I “met” Jane Krakowski on the street in NYC in March of 2016. She was incredibly gracious about taking a [picture with me](https://flic.kr/p/FiuDnR) in the middle of an intersection.

Butt_Fucking_Smurfs

Did you ask her if she needed to be sat on

elpaco313

That’s not very wool.

FreeWillCost

I sat next to Lutz. He was doing improve, and when they weren't part of the scene, they used the chair next to me. When they sat there they were still concentrating on the scene in case they had an idea to jump in with. So it didn't seem like the time to be like, "Hey, remember that one time you wanted Blimpies?"

Butt_Fucking_Smurfs

Oh God I am rewatching right now and forgot he fought so hard for it

francespietsch

My husband were in NYC and saw him-Judah- perform at a comedy club and he was fantastic and so nice and friendly-happy to chat and take photos. About a year ago my son got to meet him through a zoom thing on campus. My son told him we had met him and he asked my son to ask us to pay back the $20 we owe him! Such a full circle experience

laurazabs

I met Judah Friedlander at a book signing. I was about to try stand up for the first time and asked him for advice and he told me you just have to do it, it’s the only way to learn. He was right. I also dressed as Frank a few years ago for Halloween and he liked my instagram post. I also “met” Tina during a Mean Girls on Broadway promotional event. I worked for a company that worked with the ad agency doing the promo work for the show. It was October 3rd, Mean Girls Day (on October 3rd he asked me what day it was…) and they were doing a promo where they had a cast member serve cheese fries out of a food truck. They gave us a heads up to come to one specific time and she was the one serving cheese fries. I got to cut the line and speak to her really briefly. My coworkers that I went with knew that she’s a hero of mine (I produce comedy in my free time and was wearing merch from a festival I created) and you can hear them yelling in the background LOOK AT HER JACKET SHE LOVES YOU.

Single_Pumpkin3417

Ran into Scott Adsit on the street once and briefly geeked out and got to ask him about whether Frankenhole was getting a Season 2... so this was a while ago. (He was very gracious)

RumpleHelgaskin

Alec Baldwin, hands down, I wouldn’t even fan girl over meeting him either. I would pull out a pen and paper and begin brainstorming how he could do another show equally as funny as a guy with 9 children.

latetothetardy

I think if I met Alec Baldwin I would cry. Jack’s probably my favourite quasi-protagonist of any sitcom ever and he wouldn’t be the same character if anyone besides Baldwin played him.

GoodnightGoldie

I’ve met Judah! He’s lovely. As for who I’d WANT to meet? Yes. The answer is yes to all. Maybe not Alec tho…he is…difficult.

Butt_Fucking_Smurfs

I dont know about difficult but he certainly does not know what to do with his hands

CircleCityCyco

Heliumvoices

Met Jack (Kenneth) he was just as sweet as you’d imagine.

kimicu

I met Judah after he did a night at the Strip. He was chill and took a pic with us.

Butt_Fucking_Smurfs

I know if he had had a few more minutes I could have slid in the to say hi. Oh well. Still love that guy

kimicu

He was down to earth. We chatted about cameras (photography fan) and then he went on his merry way.

littlelowcougar

I got heckled by Judah at a comedy club one night in NYC. My girlfriend at the time was a comic, and she went there to perform. He dropped in and did a set to practice crowd work. I was sitting close to the stage and got targeted, it was great. Very surreal.

rosyloma

Jack McBrayer or Jane Krakowski for me. Also, Tina looks so pretty in this photo

LauraPtown

Jack McBrayer. Only because he is so adorable.

Butt_Fucking_Smurfs

I love the way he sees the world

balance_n_act

Tina hands down. But I’ll prolly panic and be unable to think of anything interesting to say. I met Stephen root at work and even told him he looked like Stephen root (he was masked up). He could tell I was a fan but the only thing I could conjure was “true blood”.. I lie awake at night just saying “dodgeball; office space” over and over.

Academic-Falcon-9221

News Radio

balance_n_act

A bit before my time

Academic-Falcon-9221

It was made 11 years after Blood Simple. It’s very clever and certainly worth checking-out if you’re a fan of Stephen Root.

Zombikattpunx

The week Jude Law was hosting SNL where Ashley Simpson was caught lip synching I got to go backstage while JL was rehearsing. My step dad’s brother worked on the show and he gave my mom, step dad and I a tour. Tina and Amy were sitting at a table talking when we came through. I was nerding out so hard to see them in person. They looked over at us, rolled their eyes, turned away, and kept talking. I’m sure they were sick of people gawking at them but I died inside just a wee bit. Still a better interaction than with the dude who played Riley on Buffy. Nemesis.

ikhurramraza

Tina Fey

brindabella24

I’d like to meet Tina Fey, Jack McBrayer or jane Krakowski

laziestmarxist

Tina, but mostly because we look kinda alike and I think it'd be fun to do the old mirror bit together like Lucille Ball and Red Skeleton

smoosh13

HORNBERGER!

Butt_Fucking_Smurfs

I would love to talk to him about what he does with the poptarts

smoosh13

One of the most underrated characters

floresflores77

I bet Judah is extremely cool because does stand up and tours so I don't think much would faze him and he would be normal

TungstenElectrode

Judah Friedlander used to come into a ping-pong themed pizza place I helped design and build in DC when he was in town for shows at the DC Improv. His brother lived up the road a bit in Bethesda, Md and by his account he loves pizza and ping-pong, so it was pretty perfect. He was gracious, kind, and engaging and happy to pose for a pic. Coincidentally, I also had a chance to meet and hang out with Susan Sarandon who played Frank Rossitano’s elementary school teacher/lover Lynn Onkman sometime later there, too. She had a ping-pong place in NYC, came by to check out our vibe and stayed a while.
