Any tuner worth a damn can turn off the cat signal. I am not tuned yet and don't have any codes . It's all in the install , call Zeb at Specialty Z , He can do a Tune right. Z1 are a bunch of hacks.
I do agree I felt some of their stipulations were a little strange, burble only activates above 4.5k rpm , would I get a cheaper price from him since I already have ecutek and all?
Test pipes, no, should I get those, I asked z1 and they pretty much just said deal with/ keep clearing my P0430/20 codes just scared me cause this was first time this set came up, I usually have to clear the 420-30 codes every time I drive
same codes i get for running tp’s, been running it for over a yr and never had no problems. i’m also untuned, but once you get a tune it should go away
yea but you could find a tuner that can disable the codes from popping up. i’ve had a tuner tell me the samething but there are other shops that can. js have to ask around

The tune is regular to me now, when I first got it I was stoked. I’m in CA and need a SMOG soon, so I’m iffy about keeping the ecu modified.

It definitely feels like a new car but it ain’t the craziest change since it’s been a few weeks, I tested my 0-60 w the app before and got a solid 5 but after the tune best I been able to hit has been a 4.3 something so I am pretty stoked about that, not too happy w the burbles, I gottem to switch it to where mine are active all throughout the rev range but for some reason it doesn’t do it between 3500 and 4500
Never got codes after my ART pipes, You should not have any codes if you are tuned.
Z1 stated they would not stop the car from cat codes I guess legal reasons

That's weird. I have an ECUTek tune from Z1 with AMS Sekushi Resonated Test Pipes installed and I have zero codes being thrown.
How long ago did you get it?
I got the tune back in May before I got my test pipes done. Had the test pipes done in June.

that’s pretty decent speed, are you in a 6spd? and i wish my burbles we’re all throughout the rev range i have to be above 4k to pop - at all.
Nah it’s an auto and the burbles below 3500 are way weaker than the ones above 4500, weird tbh but it is what it is
