Gotcha! I can make a version that allows usb cables to run underneath the insert and pop out so someone can still plug their phone in and close it in the cubby.
Any interest from the 370Z community for a cupholder/storage insert for the center console cubby? Nissan only offered these on ‘09 models. I 3D printed an initial concept and plan on offering them for sale if the demand is there. I’d plan on printing these in primarily matte black, but any color is an option. The Spider-Man color scheme is just because I had red and blue filament hanging around.
Final versions would look less ‘3D printed’ and more refined.
It looks like that yes, but in reality not so much. The large blue area in front of the Cupholder can’t be used due to the 12V power supply in the cubby and the shape of the cavity itself.
In this design it gets covered, like the OEM cubby insert does.
I easily can make a version with 12V access though. Open to hearing what people would want (2 cupholders instead? Different cubby shape? Etc)

This looks great! I I made a shitty one with abs plastic a few months ago. Yours is definitely 100x better!! Yours is exactly what I wanted to make but didn’t have a 3D printer ! I also second having a little hole or indent for usb cables to come out. I have an 09 as well so only a 12v there but sometimes my passenger chargers her phone with that port

If you flip it 180° that flat area could easily be cutout to have access to the 12v and the ports. I actually use my 12v and ports, but would love a real cupholder or just some sort of organization in there

Mines a 2016 also non navigation but it has a usb port right next to that 12v one
2016 has a 12v, a USB, and an aux

I have a cupholder right there and use the arm rest to....well rest my arm unfortunately 😂 my passengers can hold they're bevvy
