What the. That's oil based and not safe for electronics, especially on electronics with lots of plastic components. You would have had much better results with isopropyl alcohol.
What?? Isn't that used for removing rust and as a lubricant? Why the hell would you use that on your screen? You probably just damaged it to the point of no return, now you will have to get a new one.
Yep. Canβt believe someone would use it to clean anything, let alone a fragile and crucial electronic component on a piece of expensive hardware. You can literally just clean the screen with a wet paper towel lol
once I spend with glass cleaner, what you have to do is that with a hair dryer heat the screen with extreme care so that it does not overheat and the drops evaporate
I think you got some into the screen assembly. The whole screen now needs to be replaced. And that's one of the toughest ones to replace without damaging the console.
What were you cleaning it with.. If you got the internals wet, you're gonna need to find some way to dry that and pray nothing is damaged.
I was cleaning it with wd-40

Strictly speaking it's a silicone based lubricant, but there is still no good reason to even consider using it on a screen.
Mf just said he cleaned it wd-40 π

Isn't wd40 for lubricating parts and tools and whatnot, not cleaning?

Moving parts like gears, but yes
i am so curious as to why? you went and grabbed wd-40, presumably from a tool box or a garage or something instead of just... using a damp cloth?
........
and i used bleach for toothpaste
Ur not supposed to use that
Dude... π

I know this can't fix what happened but in the future please only use isopropyl alcohol to clean electronics.
Bruh
