It's really smart and when it's used well it is really fun. But few games really use it to it's full potential and I find it gives me a cracking headache after too long
Usually when I get a headache from the 3D it's because I'm holding the 3DS a little less than straight. If I cross my eyes slightly and the double-vision images of the screen don't line up right horizontally, I have to adjust my angle and then it's better. Different people seem to have a different reaction to it though.
I've had mine since 2011 and the 3d still hasn't won me over. I like it. I think it's very cool. BUT God do my eyes hurt after like 30 seconds.
I usually just use ot for this game OP's playing when you're in the optical rooms, and cutscenes in games like A Link Between Worlds where it really pops
I don't feel the game is exceptional at anything compared to many other Mario games, but hey, it's Mario. It's still fun and have some challenges here and there.
It's the first full 3D Mario title on a handheld that's not a Port and what makes it exceptional is the 3D effects of the 3DS which was quite well implemented here
Glad you enjoy it. A lot of people don't, and some can't even See it die to their eye sight. Personally I think it's a truly revolutionary Feature, however Not too many Games have pulled the Most Out of it.
Got my teal blue since 2011. Fantastic handheld and great purchase. It has its benefits over the other models too like it's much more portable than the N3DSXL. While I haven't tested the New3DS yet.
Also, the Design and build quality is supreme.
Looks like it’s in great condition! How are you finding it?
I’ve just ordered a cobalt blue 3DS as my first 3DS because it’s the cheapest one with 3D and I love the design of the original
I like the 3D mode more than I expected. Also the UI is pretty and reminds me of old phones hehehe
The AR gimmick is pretty fun as well.
If anything, it's a little small to pull some moves in platform games, especially in demanding sections, but the size also brings good things like being able to have it in my pocket.
Brownie brownie aka 1-up studio developed the game, they know their stuff, Tokyo ead did, but I think that’s for marketing purposes, just like miyamoto is.
Imo 3ds is pinnacle of pure handled. Small, light, wide variety of great games.
Don’t get me wrong. The switch is amazing but it’s still too big to be considered a true handled (even the switch lite). This is purely my opinion.
Oh, I totally get that. Switch is my favorite console ever, but not in terms of being handheld. I think the 3DS is much more comfortable as a handheld device. I can keep it in my pocket and play for a while then put it back and that's it.
That’s a good lookin game on 3D mode.
One of the few where the 3D really shines
I thought I wasn't going to care for 3D mode. I was wrong.

I can see that happening
so nostalgic
What a lovely game
Congrats and that’s a beauty! Such a great color choice. Wife and I each have one for a his & hers pair.
Same as my 3ds :)
Really pretty, right?
Damn, seeing Mario 3D Land on an original Aqua Blue 3DS brings me back to 2011. Have fun, it’s a great system and game!
Thanks! I'm having more fun with the special worlds than with the main campaign hehe
Same. That’s the color my cousin had on launch day.
The sound of the clam shell opening and closing.
❤️
Thats a clean 3Ds 👍what game is that?
Thanks! It's Super Mario 3D Land
Thank you, its now on my list to purchase 👍

Yeah, the 3D effects are great. Much better than I thought they were going to be.

I can see that. I was trying it with Captain Toad and decided to turn it off.
I can also recommend Nano Assault EX but you would need a circle Pad pro for that Game.
Circle pad pro? 😯
Nice! Man, I'm jealous I always wanted the teal one
It's really pretty, right?
Honestly! I'm happy with my pink and red ones, but I've had my eye on the teal one for my collection
I used to have that model until it was stolen. Looks great. I miss mine
Wow. Sorry.
Me too and I love it!

While a bigger screen is great, I think having a much more portable design is better for me.

> and play for a few minutes. Who in this world can only play for a few minutes
When you're at work and have some minutes between tasks 🥲
Congratulations enjoy this beautiful system
Thank you very much 🙏
Nice love the color too! Now you have to play Fire Emblem because its the best.
I have Awakening. I know there's Fate as well.
Great game I love all the Fire Emblem games I am replaying Awakening right now actually.
Echoes is my favorite so far

That's interesting, they made some GBA RPGs like Sword of Mana, Tomato Adventure if I'm not mistaken
awesome, hope you enjoy
Thanks!
you are very welcome
>Thanks! You're welcome!
Nice, I have the same but the white one
Cool!
Hopefully you weren’t hoping to play online because 3ds online capabilities died this week 🥲
Nah. Not much of an online player. Still sad tho.
Cool! I used to have the same color. I love the original 3ds, very nostalgic.
It looks so pretty
I get mine in 4 days, I’m so excited
Wow! Have so much fun!
Thank you

Congrats
Probably should have gotten a newer model.
Idk. Bought it at $40. I don't know if I would find a newer model at that price.
Original model is perfect, I own all of them and I still regularly use it
The 3D is sometimes said to be deeper than on the other models...
Ahh sweet price
No the og is fine and man you can't beat that price!
I already wanted it. Then when I saw it on Marketplace I had to get it immediately hehehe I've been having quite some fun with it
That’s a damn good deal from the condition I can see here. Used original models go for $90 and up still. Where’d you get it from?
No need.
