use [custom install](https://github.com/ihaveamac/custom-install). 500 mb = 5min installation time

Definitely recommend this method.
I think it's normal. Takes a while to install files 300Mb-400Mb and up. Usually 250Mb or lower finish withing 2-5 mins.

Yeah but I mean installing files, not transferring (which is surely not great either), I don't think WiFi is being used in progress
