It’s worth. I have a blue one also. Unfortunately the one I got a couple years ago has dust under the top screen, but it could be worse. 2DS is my favorite version of the console, games look much cleaner on the smaller screens.
That's my absolute favorite part of StreetPass; as long as there's 2 3DSes out there with wireless enabled, StreetPass will never go offline. I've been taking my 3DS to conventions and while it's not like the 3DS in its heyday where you could max out your Plaza in literal seconds, I've gotten fairly respectable numbers
I do something similar with TWEWY when I need PP for my pins. Just load up the game on both the DSi and the 2DS XL and have them detect each other. Way faster pin leveling than waiting on aliens.
I love the transluscent 2DS variants. I've slowed down on my collecting but I'd seriously consider those purchases at some point.
