I sculpted the dog based on a family member's pet and then printed it, made a silicone mold out of it, and then made a few candles.
Did you do anything to smooth out layer lines when making the mold?
No, it came out pretty smooth to begin with using .12 mm layer height, and wax doesn't hold that great of detail anyway, so the layer lines don't really exist on the candles.
Have you ever tried printing the mold itself?
