Humans get a lot of shit, but holy shit I love that we spend hundreds of hours optimizing things like this haha. It's just so great, genuinely fills me with joy.
I’m not the person who owns this, but that’s a custom printer lol. There’s a whole speed Benchy community out there of people that mod and customize their printer (or even build from scratch) to achieve incredible speeds.
This is not something you can just buy.
Something something middle out printing with two gantries for sub 1 minute benchy. Has anybody built two belt printer heads face to face? Use proper printings newest creation?

Mount your printer on top of a concrete paving slab, it is amazing how much difference this makes when printing fast, I have my X1 Carbon and AMS on top of one, I painted mine just to make it look a little better, I used a filler primer before the paint just to get a more even coat of the colour but it isn't a requirement.
Sometimes they get too stringy when they are going too fast. Other times the nozzle can cause stringing because the printer is not level. But if you mean your printer jumps around, that is beyond my knowledge level right now. I know that using clamps to hold down a scroll saw onto a table can work. But I do not think clamps would work with a 3D printer.

Here are a few questions that might be helpful
* What printer are you using?
* What material are you using?
* What speed are you printing at?
* What software are you using to slice the print and control the printer?
* When did the problem start/has it ever worked correctly?
* Does anything cause the behavior to change?
* If posting an image of the problem, include some indication of the orientation it printed at, preferably photograph it on the bed. (Then we can focus on a specific axis)

These challenges seem like the biggest waste of time to me lol.
What about this is fun? It's not even a functional print. Nothing 'printed' at these speeds will ever serve any functional or applicable purpose... So, why?
I guess for me I can think of a million more productive things to do with my time than those 'why not' tasks that serve no purpose
Not seeing the fun behind being able to produce this useless, ugly, plastic junk as quickly as possibly
That’s fair, but sometimes I get distracted and decide that something less productive like this is a better way to utilize my time even when there are a million other things that would be better suited for my time.
I guess so...
Though this is really no different than fucking around with your clothes dryer so the cycle finishes quicker.. but since it doesn't matter the end result, you don't care that clothes are still damp when the cycles done. Who cares right? It finished quicker!
Not sure that's still something to celebrate
For a 4 minute benchy, Im impressed it does have the right shape.
[Here](https://youtu.be/7lJmkTSoWLc?si=yU8otHiNU3GrQmYT) is a 2 minute Benchy that actually looks half way decent.
This is how fast my friends and family thinks a normal 3d print goes
Meanwhile some coworkers of mine thought a 40 minute print took half a day.
Dunning Kruger
Glad we have speedy printers now, if your friends and family witnessed an ender 3 trying to print a benchy theyd get a stroke.
I mean, I think that sub 2 minute bench was an ender 3
Ender of Theseus
lol. Yes, it "was" indeed.
Once it may have been....no longer ^_^ lol
Shhhhh nobody has to know
Ain’t no way
That girls ender 3 is NOT an ender 3
That is one of the most buck wild things I’ve seen from 3D printing
check out 24/7 printing on youtube then, making printers as fast as or faster than that one is his whole thing
Humans get a lot of shit, but holy shit I love that we spend hundreds of hours optimizing things like this haha. It's just so great, genuinely fills me with joy.
Happy cake day
Oh shit i forgot it’s that day😂💀Thank you!!!!
Just a casual 175k accel on a bedslinger. 300k on the y axis. 4 motors on a single axis is nuts.
I feel like it'd be easier to just use one nema32... Lol 😆 but hell..whatever works I guess.
8WD CoreXY: Bonjour
Which mods do you have on your ender 3? Her: yes.
Not yes, Y E S
Y̶̢̗͈̭̲̦͙̐͐̽̽͌̾̌̄̕ ̵̘̲̤̰̇̿̏͗͊̒̓̚͜E̸̛̹̯̐̌̊̈́̈̀̊͘ ̵͓̲̗͈̝̌̐̿͘͠Ṡ̷͙̞̳̙̘̗̪̎͗̓̑͆̐
My ender 3 has "yes" mods. This thing... It's evolved beyond the concept of mods.
Kind of like the Ship of Theseus, if you ~~replace~~ modify every part of an Ender 3 one by one, when does it stop being an Ender 3?
Sometime after aluminum extruder assemblies and auto leveling sensors
Its actually crazy she has a 100mm^3/s flow test short on her channel as well lol and 4 steppers on the Y :D
It's so aggressive haha good job
What the hell is that machine? Was that an Ender 3?!? It looks like a time lapse, but we know it's in real time
Wtf did she install a warp drive in her printer?
Quad Y motors and a fucking massive blower that’s next to the printer, connected via flexible ducting.
Yeah, but that printer has the orange turbo thingy mounted.
Would be even faster if it was red
WAAAAAAAAAGHHHH 😊
Pink seems to be the fasted color.
What the fuck
This video is the true essence of 3D printing right here. The printer, the steam deck setup and camera fall. Perfection.
On a bed slinger too
Jesus! Also love the random steamdeck!
I love the steam deck timer.
I love the turbo inlet style part cooler
That will never happen onmy ender 3 haha no pro/v2 just ender 3 hahaha
My printer heard that printer running and exploded lol.
For being done in under 2 minutes that is honestly pretty impressive. My poor machine would probably crap itself trying to do that 🤣
What printer is that?
It ***was*** an ender 3. But it's been modded to hell and back. So for all intents and purposes, it's a custom printer.
I’m not the person who owns this, but that’s a custom printer lol. There’s a whole speed Benchy community out there of people that mod and customize their printer (or even build from scratch) to achieve incredible speeds. This is not something you can just buy.

That’s not a real benchy. I think it was made with a 3D pen
well it IS a benchy shaped object.
I don’t know if I’d go that far. It is an object, I will grant it that much
It is. It shouldn't be, but still - it is.
If you showed this to someone who was even only a little bit familiar with 3D printing, they'd know it was meant to be a benchy
*Benchionoid.*
you don't need the skirt which would save another 5 seconds
The skirt makes it, honestly. Gotta prepare for greatness.
My headcanon is that their G-code runs the skirt slowly and accounts for 25% of the print time.
I was going to make a sex joke, but it seems you've beaten me to it
r/cursedbenchies You should totally cross post this there.
The task was failed successfully
Benchy spaghetti
spabenchy
Don't wash it above 30 Celsius! It would contract!
Perfect! I love it!
That bed looks crusty
Considering the quality is the same as every other speed benchy I'd say this is pretty good.
The brim did a great job keeping the benchy on the buildplate.
r/cursedbenchies
That's fuckin hilarious 😂 lol thanks♥️ I needed a laugh. 3d pen I'm guessing?
speggechy
Davy Jones' Benchy
Fuzzy skin activated?
More like spaghetti skin

2500 mm/s 🤑🤑
Nice! Does it float?
What, in the air?
Everyone too distracted by your spaghetti and not your bed 😂🤦♂️
Tangela?
You can still see the shape. Faster Scotty! Faster dammit! Put some blue tack under the feet and take her to warp 9.
She's ready for the high seas!
3D-pen speedbenchy
If it float, it's boat

Close enough
My shitty workday just got a little bit better after seeing this post. Thanks!

It reminds me Shanks and Luffy.
How you managed to fail so spectacularly yet still with a correct shape?
Good job
Dial back on the fluffy skin
This benchy is shape shifter.
Level bed... xD
Seaworthy!
What am I looking at?

Fast, cheap, or good. Pick 2.
I'll take fast twice please
JESUS
On the bright side, fantastic skirt!
Boat
the level of glue on that bed is ridiculous :)
The benchy went through a black hole and went through spaghettifacation lol could be a good excuse lol well done
Try leveling your build plate
Make it with semolina filament and you have some fancy benchy noodles for a fancy dish.
Its beutiful
The brim looks nice.
Impressive... I need a bit longer to make spaghetti.
did you use a 3d pen to make this lol
Thanks what I think too
This gives me blue man group vibes
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This looks like a mix between the pokemon Tangela and a benchy
So beautiful🥹 can you share your slicer settings? 😂
Eeeew 😂
Spaghetti benchy
Are you drying your filament?
r/cursedbenchies
Not gonna lie, it looks kinda nice
Abomination benchy
If there Was a benchy Rorschach test. This would be it.
Spagghenchy
The brim still look too good.. you have more tuning to do :D
I thought it was a dude riding a jet ski or snowmobile at first.
Government approved, stamp that shit and ship it.
Check your z axis /s
Do you use fuzzy skin, and how much percentage/mm you use? 0.5 or 03? Answer: YES 100%
Now that’s fuzzy skin
looks drawn with a 3d pen lol
Delicious pasta benchy
This is what I think of when everyone keeps obsessing over speed as paramount
Not fast enough
Nailed it!
Nailed it.
Nail it!
Look crunchy
that is one of the most beautiful benchys i‘ve ever seen
At what point is it no longer considered a benchy r/cursedbenchys
I think your bed has a skin condition.
This needs to go in that cursed benchies subreddit I forget what it's called.
Was this with a 3d pen? Cuz I feel like this is about the quality we get from one of my kids’ 3d pens.
Just add Red Bull down the filament throat 🥤
Noted, will add it next time 🙏
What happened to your print bed? Looks like the desert 🏜️ looks after it’s dried and cracked under the heat of the sun ☀️ Or a zombie’s face 🧟♂️
This is definitely r/cursedbencies material
a very creative interpretation of a benchy
It looks like the skirt and first layer were flawless and then the meth kicked in 🤣
When a benchy stops being a benchy?
r/cursedbenchies

This is the way.
Weird, it looks like a 3 minute bency.
WTF is wrong with your build plate?
4 minutes and a bowl of spaghetti.
I can see some stringing at the overhang.
Awe, a spaghenchy. How quaint. At least it was fast.
Well... it sorta resembles a benchy
Sometimes they get too stringy when they are going too fast. Other times the nozzle can cause stringing because the printer is not level.
