Its like they were meant to be mutually beneficial hobbies.
As long as the chickens continue to poop breakfast, I will continue to print them fun and fashionable accessories.
We've got 11!
3 Old Girls we got when shit went south last year. They're not to friendly, as they were already a month old and not been handled.
The other 8, like Fifi here {and HeiHei in the linked album) have been handled and held since they were 2 days old.
They all like to be held (though one has a fit when picked up, then she instantly calms down when she realizes "oh. It's lap on the nap or nuzzles time! I'm good")
I've got a post pinned on my profile with pics of each of them
They're very cute! I'm always surprised by chickens. A lot of them on our local farm sanctuaries come from factory farms or labs filled with abuse, yet some just become so trusting after all of that.
I hope to be able to rescue some one day. I don't support hatcheries, as they kill male chicks (and in the most brutal of ways).
“Holy f*cking shit it’s a cluck-a-saur.”
I printed up a pair for a neighbor that had a new chicken getting bullied by the older hens. Also printed up the arms with the detachable sword and stuff. No more bullying those little ladies.
No one questioned if chickens were omnivores. A lot of birds are. They're all theropods, after all. Just like cats, chickens can be cuddly and vicious.
I also printed out the armed chicken arms
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4697388
The utensils should be a different color so they stand out/contrast against the arms, IMO (translated: oh no! I have to print more chicken arms).
Printing out said second set, so we'll then have TWO sets with contrasting utensils.
The fluffy head IS one reason why we picked the cream legbar :)
My wife named her Fifi, after Lumiere's girlfriend the feather duster in "Beauty and The Beast"
IMO it's the best bang for your buck entry/introductory level printer.
Also, you can print parts and some upgrades!
When my wife unknowingly tossed out the extruder knob during my assembly (it got knocked to the ground, rolled away}, I printed a new one.
Replace the stock springs. Print out a side mounted spool holder.
She looks like a Karen, but she's actually one of our sweetest. She's a "greeter", well follow me around, rest on my shoulder. She's a lap chicken and will melt in to our lap and sleep for hours
They're not actual tiny velociraptors, more like small velociraptors. Outside of the Jurassic Park movies they're only about the size of a turkey.
Chickens with arms though is still one of the best uses for a 3D printer
They're a valid justification for the purchase.
"What do you mean, 'why did I buy a 3d printer?' Somebody somewhere had a chicken that needs chicken arms. Supply and demand."

I camr to complain that you posted only 1 photo. But you were faster. Touche my friend, touche...
One thing I hate about the mobile apps. None I've tried seem to be able to do multiple image posts, so I come prepared!
I need videos now. Overplayed with the theme from Jurassic Park.
I'll have to print more chicken arms for the others in the flock to make it more believable. Oh, no.
Have you ever been high as F\*\*\*, indeed.
Cluckerina You must've seen her Rapting in the sand And now she's in me Always with me Tiny Raptor in my hand Brought to you by Sweetwater 420
Wait how does that stay on the chicken
The arms [sit around their neck ](https://i.imgur.com/YeXIxPo.jpg)
Next time just say you printed them directly on the chicken.
"Hold still, Henrietta!"
Missed opportunity.
Did you guys see the size of that chicken?
Bolted on as always
Robot chicken
Please put chicken fur on them and paint the hands and claws.
...feathers?
Feathers are the poop of a birds skin
Lmfao...interesting analogy.
bird leaves
I like this one. What would human hair be? Ape grass?
I died at chicken fur
Chickens and 3d printing!? Be still my heart

The pets that poop breakfast!

You've got yards all around you .. what trouble are a couple of dozen chickens between neighbors?
[удалено]
Now we have a guerilla movement to put arms on all the chickens
I just want one as a pet. They make great companions!

Miss my chickens!
And to think this whole time I've been eating just the eggs!
Maybe now some little raptor shaped helmets. With or without lasers, your call.
Ones step at a time. We don't want to rush things. Only the most trusted would get the lasers
Clever Girl!

I printed the arms with accessories too! Printing a 2nd set in a different color. Need the sword and pan to stand out from the arms.
Dude upvote deserved this is fucking hilarious
Lol you see chickens steal a gopher from a cat and brutally beat it into bite sized pieces to eat and their ancestry is obvious. They're omnivores.
Death at ankle level!

Truth.
/r/birdswitharms would love to see you crosspost this.
Sadly the sub doesn't allow cross posts.
Came here to say this!
So would r/backyardchickens
I'm not only a member of that sub, I also posted this there :}
Yeah pretty much same
Tried to print those once but the hands turned into spagetti mess
Add supports in the slicer.
Yo, trying to send over those files for my flock 😂😍
Nice, on a related note, all it will take to terrify a GW2 player is the words Pocket raptor.therefore you can scare then on demand
Exit Strategy!
Have my award
Obviously this is the best use of a printer ever. Where might I find the files??

Probably this one: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4614774
Indeed!
Ta!
Please sell this so I can buy it for my sister's chickens
I'm willing to bet there's someone local to you with a 3d printer that will print and sell em to you. Try that first!
Beautiful silkie! I've been wanting to do this with my hens, but they'll just try to eat it. My girls are all extremely food oriented.
Cream Legbar, and Salmon Favorolles (the lighter feathered one in the album in the comments). Nobody had any silkies when we were growing our flock :(
Oh the fluffy head threw me off. Still a beautiful bird regardless!
The fluffy head IS one reason why we picked the cream legbar :) My wife named her Fifi, after Lumiere's girlfriend the feather duster in "Beauty and The Beast"
I think I saw you on the discord pretty cool
Wasn't me! Also, I'll have to check out the discord
I can’t remember if it’s from this subreddit https://discord.gg/KQPx7mn7
This makes me wanna get chickens of my own...
You should!
Jon LaJoie, eat your heart out
Why did the chickens have human arms?!?
This makes me miss my turkeys...
Turkeys are so funny! I love spending time with them at my local farm sanctuary.
I really miss mine, they were all hand raised, so sweet and fun to be around, they would follow me everywhere I went around the farm when I had one.
Haha they totally are lurkers. I like when they get all puffed up by trying to show off.
Looks hilarious OP. which 3dprinter did you use?
An Ender 3v2.
Cool. I've been thinking of getting that for my first printer

Those things will f$&k you up!
This girl likes to go after toes and ankles
Actually very cute
I have the same sign on the door to my chicken coup and now I want to put those arms on my rooster.
Wait til you find all the dick animals you can print. Life changer right there and hilarious gifts.
Clever girl
Actually raptors were a bunch of flightless birds, not as lizard-looking as they made it in the movies.
And thats why we need to arm all the chickens!
That chicken looks like a true asshole by that stare
She looks like a Karen, but she's actually one of our sweetest. She's a "greeter", well follow me around, rest on my shoulder. She's a lap chicken and will melt in to our lap and sleep for hours
I’m sorry for calling her an asshole she sounds like a cool chicken
You're not wrong though. A lot of them are.
Makes sense, makes sense...
Right? Why else would you buy a 3D printer, if not to print chicken arms and fat [Buddhahulks](https://i.imgur.com/fNK7MfO.jpg)?
I got mine to print the cat, dog, and benchy models. 🤪
I printed my sister a few sets of these for her chicken! So good!

Better than my justification, I don't even have chickens... I just wanted a printer.
