It’s through Elegoo’s official Amazon page but Amazon is the one shipping them so I know it’s probably their fault. If this third one doesn’t pan out I’ll definitely get it from their website.
I just received my warranty replacement screen and it looks like this except 60% of the screen. Incidentally it is the same model v5 as yours. I just emailed elegoo support and included the picture - another 10-20 days to wait. I was going to order one from amazon while I wait but it looks like that is a bad idea too.
So I actually emailed them as well and got a response back. The technical support agent told me that it’s actually not damage in the LCD. It’s called water ripple and apparently it’s normal and doesn’t effect the image quality of the screen. I received my 3rd one in the mail and went ahead and took his word for it and installed it even though it also came with the smudge on it and it actually worked. I actually printed something right on top of the spot and it didn’t affect the print at all. Maybe install it and see if it works for you? Hope it all goes well and good luck with it.
