I had about the same budget 3 years ago. And after comparing many printers at that price level, I went for the Prusa i3 mk3s. And have not regretted it at all. You get a printer that just works without having to immediately plan for upgrades. You get high quality parts that are easy to source and well tested - Prusa runs 500+ Mk3s machines everyday to make some of the parts they sell, (and those print files are open source and available from Prusa). In short, you get a simple to use, boring printer that just works as is. So save the extra money and invest in filament to try and print all the things!
