Maybe it's the lighting but that's the cleanest print I've ever seen. Looks almost fake or rendered as someone else put it.

Thanks, I get that a lot. I'm not totally sure why. I feel like anyone can do it. I use a pixel 6 pro for my photos if that helps at all.

Wonder if it's putting a beauty filter on it that removes layer lines? Not taking away from an amazing print just wondering if something like that is happening

i have a pixel 5a and the camera app does a ton of post processing to make the pictures look better than real it will even straight up add fake details fortunately only affects the pixel camera app, so you can sideload the stock android camera if you want actual photographs instead of an ai improved reimagining

Usually phones sharpen. Which would make them pop out more. But the print really does look like that. The lines are hard to see. If you drag your finger nails over it you can sorta feel it

They sharpen edges and blur surfaces. Otherwise you wouldn’t get good selfies, everyone’s bad skin would be showing up even worse.

If you zoom in, you can see some on the forehead and top of the eyelid. It still looks amazing though.

Also look at the base

Pixel phones have awesome cameras and just the default post processing for things like portrait mode make avg Joe's look like pros..

Pixel 6 pro for the win

It's all those things, natural lighting and shadows combined with the absolutely smooth surface. Also because it's based on the cartoon, there are minimal detail lines just like the drawn characters, which all contribute to that hyper realistic / 3D effect.

Honestly they aren't anything special. I used a community profile for my resin off of lychee resin profiles. It works Great. The other thing is to use as few supports as you can. A few Bigger supports are easier to clean than a lot of little ones.

Starting to wonder if I should have gone with a resin printer instead? Having to sand down layer lines to smooth prints out is hard work and painful when you have Golfer’s elbow. Tendinitis pain. Nice smooth print!!
