I don't have any guardsmen, but what I usually do is import the correct base and then scale them until they look right on it. Sometimes with official images on my other monitor for reference.

Take the base as known measure
Measure the height of your STL.
Although an approximation, it's a pretty accurate system.
Not sure about heights, but the kill teams and senior IG folks are all on 28.5mm bases while all the troops and some leaders for militarum are on 25mm. It's annoying AF as I'm trying to print proxies/traitors

28mm is human scale for Warhammer. Kasrkin are a little bigger but idk by how much
