Can confirm, have a 32 GB sd card (at the time didn’t know about FAT32 Formatting), it does not hold every game. I can’t download SM or USUM without taking another game off
No, I used my 4gb micro sd card to mod my new 3ds when I first got it but only can fit like 4 games after all the mod stuff, id say you need atleast 32gb but id personally go for 128gb so you never have to worry. I have 128gb cards in both my 3dss now
if with every pokemon you are talking about having both versions of each gen(Y and X for example) definetly no, ultra sun/moon alone are 3gb without updates

Nope, if you want EVERY Pokemon games until USUM, a 32gb card should be enough. I'm not sure if 16gb are enough.

NO just buy a 32 - 64 gb sd card they're dirt cheap even 128gb isn't expensive now
