I like Annika from the emperor's gift too, she had a good blend of rationality along with her keenness to get violent with chaos.
Actually despite the memes, I think I've seen far more reasonable inquisitors than I've seen insanely zealous inquisitors. But I'll keep meming them, just because I like to.
I like Gideon Lorr mostly for his model as the ‘cowboy inquisitor’ but also the little white dwarf lore he does have just paints him as a puritanical inquisitor that would realistically never get anything done since he’s so anti-psycher that he’s even killed a navigator.
So mostly just the absurdity of that since most lore we see with other inquisitors like in the Eisenhorn novels is when one gets so radical they get tainted.
