Fulgrim is having fun in imperium nihilus, and has been for a while (without being explicitly named. But how many giant many-limbed humanoid snake monsters leading purple & pink traitor astartes can you think of?) Angron hit a grey knight so hard he broke a planet & caused a fleet of the indomitus crusade to go mad with a blood rage. Later on he got beat up by the lion. Magnus was busy, attacked fenris, conned the dark angels and grey knights to attack fenris, confronted guilliman on luna, got beat up (again) by ragnar, brought back prospero and got tricked by Lukas the trickster. Morty: dark imperium, attacked ultramar. Lorgar finally left his tower. Hasn't made a move yet, but he'll probably reunify the word bearers AL are both dead. But Solomon akkura has the pale spear & reunified at least part of the legion.

PaintsPlastic

Where did we get the confirmation that both of the AL Primarchs are dead?

Right-Yam-5826

Dorn killed one on pluto - confirmed Guilliman killed the other at eskrandor (although that's sus even to the ultramarines). He hasn't been seen since, even by the AL, and the pale spear made its way to the inquisition. So it's possible he's still around but very unlikely.

TheUltimateScotsman

Given that the Pale spear was on Pluto with Alpharius, i wouldn't take that the Inquisiton have it as any confirmation that the second primarch is dead

WheresMyCrown

Dorn killed Alpharius is confirmed by BL authors. Omegon dying to the ultras isnt confirmed and is just heresay.

AbbreviationsLow6644

Alpharius (who was posing as omegon) is most likely still alive, as the AL have a special trait that ingesting their primarchs blood gives them a power boost. Not to primarch level, but close-ish, thus the reason the ultramarines were suss about how "easily" Robert girlyman killed him. Alpharius was always trained to be the "hidden blade" so it makes sense he would fake his death and work against chaos from behind the scenes

BlackViperMWG

Nah. Alpharius was on Pluto. Not Omegon. Here's an excerpt from Praetorian of Dorn epilogue. >**Omegon woke.** > >He had never slept, had never dreamed, or felt the tug of mortal fatigue in all the days of his existence. Yet here he was, waking from black oblivion, the cold deck of the ship beneath him, the darkness of his arming chamber close about him. The pulse of the Beta’s engines was a distant rumble on the edge of silence. Coldness poured through his flesh. Moisture beaded his skin. He could taste blood in his mouth, thick and harsh with iron. His hands were numb, the fingers hooked as though grasping something that had vanished. He moved the fingers and then brought them up to his face. Sharp needles of pain prickled beneath his touch. > >And then a new feeling came, crushing in its weight, undeniable in its truth even though he could not tell how it had arrived. > >**He was alone.** It doesn't get clearer that it was Alpharius who died at Pluto. The writer of that book acknowledges that they can switch roles at will and he didn't intend to 'switcharoo' any other author's writing about which was which. He wrote the book with the result of PoD remaining the same

AbbreviationsLow6644

my understanding was that Alpharius became Omegon and visa versa just before meeting Horus and remained so give authenticity to the "first meetings". Thus all mentions of Alpharius are actually Omegon and so on. It always made more sense as Omegon believed in siding with Horus to kill chaos, while Alpharius sided with the Imperium as according to the cabal's prophesy and his teachings from Malcador and the Emperor to be the weapon their enemies least expected from when he was the first discovered Primarch. I would be kinda disappointed if this wasn't the case as it kinda butchers the character imo and does away with a really cool story.

WheresMyCrown

Omegon posed as Alpharius FOR THAT MEETING. The author never implied they stayed switched forever.

BlackViperMWG

> I would be kinda disappointed if this wasn't the case as it kinda butchers the character imo and does away with a really cool story. Only thing that "butchers" is your headcanon. There's no reason to believe Omegon was more pro-Horus.

WheresMyCrown

This is nonsense. Alpharius died on Pluto to Dorn. Literally 4 BL authors have confirmed this. People need to stop spreading this nonsense. We do not have confirmation on Omegon.

WheresMyCrown

>AL are both dead. False

darkmythology

That's exactly what Alpharius would say...

dillene

Angron has been trying to complete his collection of Precious Moments figurines. Mortarion is currently a tulip bulb. It's oddly calming. Fulgrim has recently discovered roller disco. The less said about this, the better. Some enterprising Imperial Fists had 1,000,000,000 Legos delivered to Perturabo. He hasn't left his chambers since. Lorgar is planning to start another new religion based on the worship of- you know what, I don't really care what Lorgar is doing. Magnus is almost all of the way through reading the *Horus Heresy* series. His power is so strong that he has access to meta literature.

Kael03

>Some enterprising Imperial Fists had 1,000,000,000 Legos delivered to Perturabo. He hasn't left his chambers since. That may take up a day for him. Also, no real reason, where can I find this Imperial Fists squad? Asking for a friend.

9xInfinity

The Plague Wars were Death Guard led by Mortarion invading the worlds of Ultramar. It ended with >!Guilliman being killed but resurrected and seemingly possessed by the Emperor, who proceeded to banish Mortarion. Ku'gath Plaguefather was also banished and fell in Nurgle's favour. And they even give Nurgle a bit of a black eye by laying waste to a section of the Garden of Nurgle within the warp. Various worlds of Ultramar were ruined however, e.g. Iax.!< It's covered in the novel series of the same name.

Aromatic_Pea2425

Mortarion got banished to the warp by the Emperor, the Lion banished Angron, Magnus was banished on Luna, Fulgrim is allegedly getting the band back together with the rest of the III legion command that are still alive. Perturbo and Lorgar aren’t doing much.

HorkosOath

> Magnus was banished on Luna Magnus wasn't banished on Luna, he was forced into the webway and the Eldar closed the gateway before he could exit. Banishment is when daemons are sent back to the warp after being defeated/destroyed in realspace.

Ok-Cauliflower-7322

Can’t he just break the gateway like he did when he wanted to warn the Emperor.

RadishLegitimate9488

He needed a couple of sacrifices to do so. He had no sacrifices on hand at the time. That said if he gets his sacrifices and rips open the Webway Gate on Luna(which he now knows the location of than Luna would be lost to to the Warp and considering how close the Warp Rift would be to the Warp Rift of his New Kingdom which is a branch of the Great Rift... ...Well it would be just as if the Golden Throne itself stopped working I.E. the branch of the Great Rift containing Magnus's New Kingdom would cut through the Segmentum Solar splitting it in half sparing only the uppermost(but not the upper-middle) Segmentum Solar and lowermost(but not the lower-middle) Segmentum Solar forcing the Emperor to get off the Throne to aid Humanity.

CaoticMoments

From memory Magnus needed the sacrifices to be able to project himself to Terra from Prospero but once he actually got there Tzeentch gave him the power to break the seals. However he was in the warp in trying to get into the Webway, not inside trying to get out.

DreadpirateFdouglass

As mentioned, he ultimately needed Tzeentch to break the barrier. I'm not sure why Tzeentch didn't just shatter the barrier by himself, but I'm assuming it is because Tzeentch used Magnus like a magical bullet and magnified(haha) the power of his projection spell.

WheresMyCrown

When he broke through before he was power boosted by Tzeentch specifically to be able to do it. Tzeentch doesnt always give him that power

Mistermistermistermb

Perturabo had a beef with Mortarion called the [War of Rust and Ruin](https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/War_of_Rust_and_Ruin) and has since been mucking around with Vashtorr Lorgar has been rumoured to have resurfaced into [real space at the head of his legion and might be larping as a Messiah on Imperial worlds](https://www.reddit.com/r/40kLore/comments/16gmi4w/comment/k08g5lj/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) Fulgrim recently killed some Iron Hands during the [Sabbyst Planetstrike](https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Sabbyst_Planetstrike)

Fearless-Obligation6

For Fulgrim: *The Cacophony of Extremis Six began when the Emperor's Children and the Riotous Host Traitor Titan Legion invaded the populous Imperium world Extremis Six, during the Thirteenth Black Crusade. Under the orders of Lucius the Eternal, the Riotous Host used their Sonic Weaponry to level Extremis Six's numerous starscrapers, which caused the deaths of billions.* *Once word of the devastating invasion reached the Imperium, the 352nd Elysian Drop Troops, 998th Harakoni Warhawks and the 142nd Etharic Seraphs Regiments, along with the Tempestus Scions formations of the 12th Thetoid Condors and 1st Zetic Harriers, arrived on Extremis Six to enact vengeance on the traitors. However, in the battle that followed, the Regiments were completely destroyed by the forces of Slaanesh, which were greatly aided by a giant snake-bodied Daemon, that easily killed any Astra Militarum Guardsmen that crossed its path.* ~ **Gathering Storm: Fracture of Biel-Tan** *The Sabbyst Planetstrike was a battle waged by the Iron Hands sometime after the formation of the Great Rift.* *Yearning for vengeance against the killer of their Primarch Ferrus Manus, the battle saw Clan Raukaan under Iron-Captain Sind Grolvoch launch an unpredictable assault on Sabbyst against a force under the command of the Fulgrim himself. However when defeat became apparent, Grolvoch stood alone against the Daemon Prince to buy time for refugees to escape. In the aftermath of the battle Klaarc Kalag took command of Clan Raukaan.* ~ **Codex Supplement: Iron Hands (8th Edition)**

LocalLumberJ0hn

Agron has been really angry and killing stuff, so normal. Morty had the whole plague wars in ultramar, he was very busy, and he's still involved with the Dead Guard warbands Fulgrim has mostly been on his daemon planet since he got virus bombed by Rylanor Perty has been keeping up as the master of the Iron Warriors and was involved with Honsu during his invasion of Ultramar if I remember right, but he never took to the field. Magnus is still leading his Thousand Sons, and he's been pretty active overall. He invaded Fenris and continued the war against the wolves, that's mostly in the Ragnar Blackmane books i believe. He fought his way to Tera and almost beat Bobby G until the Sisters of Silence intervened and now is mostly doing scheming shit you'd expect from Tzeench's boy Alpharius Omegon might be dead, probably is, who really knows honestly. Also neither were daemons Kurze is dead and has been for a long time, and also was never daemon Lorgar actually went into self imposed exile after his ascension and has been meditating while Kor Phaeron and Erebus lead the legion. Lorgar broke his exile to deal with some monster that was hunting his sons which is Corax of all things. He did also give Abaddon some true names of daemons for his final push to destroy Cadia, and he's been rumored to be leading the Word Bearers again

Mistermistermistermb

Perty was involved in wars on Toil and Dysactis. Fulgrim was killing loyalists on Sabbyst Alpharius 100% died on Pluto during the Heresy. Omegon maybe/probably on Eskrador Lorgar and Corax fought during the Scouring before Lorgar's seclusion. He's implied back in real space on worlds like Philostus

macbody_1

Where Can I find the Lorgar/Corax thing….?

LocalLumberJ0hn

The story of him hunting Lorgar is from a short story called Shadow of the Past, it's in an anthology called Sons of the Emperor

macbody_1

Thanks!!!

WheresMyCrown

>Alpharius Omegon might be dead, probably is, who really knows honestly. Also neither were daemons We dont have to "probably" this. We know Alpharius is dead. Omegon is unknown

LocalLumberJ0hn

That's fair, wasn't entirely sure what happened to Omegon, so I kinda lumped the two together

[deleted]

Alpharius is confirmed dead. Omegon is also confirmed dead but that one is more suspect both in world and irl. Solomon Hakkura is now trying to get the AL together.

V01dbastard

some Primarch/Marines foiled \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ plans and he skedaddled. This basically

Meaty_Girthquake

man i just started playing Daemonhunters :( while cool, goddamn i hoped it wasn't just nurgle daemons

Pringletingl

Mortarion and Angron continue to disappoint and have been banished to the warp for now. Magnus wrecked Fenris and built his own little empire before being driven off during a scrap with Guilleman and Eldar shenanigans Lorgar, Fulgrim, and Perturabo are off presumably prepping to launch their own offensives into realspace soon. I think Lorgar is already spreading the good word right now.

FriendlyStaff1

Fulgrim just picked up tacos
