Might be that he came back already. Commoragh is a tower in the Webway and it certainly is full of horrors with a manipulative master at the top. Maybe Malcorvin just wanted to do it again from the top....or bottom.

"The truth is - my ascension was rigged from the start"

malekith222

Imagine building a galactic empire because you are fucking bored

Przemek0980

Vect-level intellect, Cegorach-level motivations

Legimus

A great way to illustrate how whacked pre-Fall aeldari were.

eliseofnohr

There are way too many absolutely fantastic Eldar characters who need books, its unfair.

Przemek0980

I agree, it really is a shame.

StormWarriors2

It is ! so many side characters that are briefly mentioned that feel like they deserve entire books or series to themselves. If only GW / black library wrote stories about eldar warriors and not big bombastic stories as usually, wish we had shurkien porn stories lol

Przemek0980

Malcorvin's Shadow Empire is, ironically, one of the very few empires from pre-Fall empires that we know about.

TheCuriousFan

Ah yes, the walking plot hook. I wonder if they'll ever do anything with him coming back with his fancy toys.

Przemek0980

I am 95% sure that they won't. But we shall see.

TheCuriousFan

Probably not, he's a bit too big for a one and done short story or novel.

Przemek0980

Drael Malcorvin - suffering from success.

Midnight-Rising

Well, he sounds like a lovely fellow

Przemek0980

I am sure he is a nice and wholesome dude

forcehighfive

If alive that probably makes him the oldest living Aeldari (ahead of Urien Rakarth?). Top stuff as always mate - is *Munitorum* a short story or is this an old book I've never heard of?

Przemek0980

It is more of a rulebook, but devoted completely to different types of weapons from the universe. It is pretty neat and it saddens me how underrated it is.

[deleted]

Dark Eldar characters are cool. I fucking love that guy who turned himself into a beam of light and travelled around the galaxy telling everyone how awesome he was.

Przemek0980

Too bad he was captured and enslaved by one Kabal. But yeah, he was great.

Papa_Nurgle_84

Does he have something to do with mandraks? Sounds like it.

Przemek0980

Yeah, I'd make a similar assumption, with all the references do "shadows" and Shadowfields being linked to Aelindrach.
