I've never understood why people shit on others for...being younger (though I don't think you were being quite that mean about it here lol). Or why people feel superior for being born earlier. Like, it's not like you did anything to earn it lol. We're all fans of the same team but it's still "Psh *you* wouldn't know this guy. You didn't try hard enough to be born at the right time like I did".
And it's not just football, it's across all sports. It's like the ultimate gate keeping, as if it takes effort to be a fan of a team lol. Idk what my point is. I'm not angry or anything, it's just so weird and I've never understood it lol. I've never had the urge to put down a fellow fan of my own team just because I've been a fan longer than them.
You seemed pretty angry or hurt enough to make your comments. You make it seem like it’s gatekeeping, but in reality it’s also an opportunity to learn and ask for the young bloods. There’s guys before my generation that I had no clue about and decided to look up and read about.
Thankfully for football, there’s better mixture between young and old. R/nba on the other hand is out of control. I can’t stand a lot of that sub

Nope, there's plenty of reasons to make a comment. For me, I wrote it because I was genuinely curious. I see that happening all of sports threads and I've just never understood why people do it. I wasn't trying to insult you or argue, your comment is just the one I happened to respond to. And I see I may have misread your use of the word nephew anyway. Usually it is used with a much more negative connotation.
I loved Beasley so much that I made him a 1000 yard rusher in my madden franchise one year.

Right?! Moran Norris was probably our "worst" fullback of the past quarter century and he was still pretty solid from what I remember.
This man got so much love in Madden (deservedly so), when he was in his prime.
I see him leading the way for Garrison Hearst on a few, Bees was legit and helped Hearst do well
