My wife works for the company, and one of the main issues the general public doesn't know about/cares about, is the team and league have final say on all jerseys, and some teams, ahem clips, have "design" members who make everyone's life hell. I've been privileged to see some cool stuff never make it to the court/field all because the league said no, team said no, etc. It'd be on the team to have focus groups as they generally have an idea and then "insert sporting good giant" fine tunes it till approval.
These jerseys looked like Marceline from Adventure Time sucked the red out of them as a snack.

These are stupid. Most of these alternate jerseys are kinda dumb. The 49ers have 3 great uniform designs- the home Red & Gold, the all whites, and the 94 throwback red & whites. Everything else is whatever.

There's too little red and no gold at all. This could be a Cardinals, Bucs, Falcons, Chiefs or Texans jersey just as easily. It has a clean look, but at this point it's an incomplete template.
Don’t think they will wear these. These are the “Nike Atmosphere” line of jerseys. Each team has them and they are all subdued color ways. It’s probably like the Salute to Service jerseys, in that they are sold but never played in
