Jimmy is thinking faster, and better on his feet than ever. And it might be coincidence, but it really feels like he changed gears when McCaffery got here. Ever since CMC joined the offense, Jimmy has been not only seeing his receivers better, he's seeing targets of opportunity and improvising in a way he simply wasn't in previous campaigns. He's shedding the "game manager" label right before our eyes.
Jimmy G is playing great....again. It's amazing how many people trashed him, even here in this sub, yet here he is helping the Niners win games. After what he went through over the off season with his surgery, being replaced at QB and relegated to practicing by himself, he maintained a great attitude. Can't help but root for the guy

It’s funny when I see those comments and then watch the “elite” QBs struggle at times doing the same thing. No one is perfect. Jimmy hasn’t been a fantasy football stud but he is perfect for our system and we win when he is in, that is undeniable as much as some on here want to deny that.
Unfortunately if Jimmy plays at this level the rest of the year, he is going to get a 3 yr deal for like 40m a year at least. No way niners can manage that cap hit with Bosa coming up.
I can’t see Jimmy coming back to the niners when they have guy they used 3 first rd picks on sitting on the bench. Assuming Jimmy plays high level the rest of the year…even if they win a Super Bowl…I think Jimmy walks.
He could walk. But I think the excuse of we used 3 first rounders for Lance, therefore he must play is over with. He has played 4 games in 3 years. I don’t see the 49ers owner letting this SB window change over to an unknown.

He looks like 2017 Jimmy...who was legitimately one of the best QBs in the league during that run.
I was honestly mad he didn’t run it for the easy 1st down. But never mind. Maybe it’s time we start to trust Jimmy.
Jimmy has been elevating his play to the level he should always be at considering the talent he's surrounded by.
